The Prophet ﷺ permitted the people who provided the pilgrims with water to stay at Mecca during the nights of Mina.

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ رَخَّصَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ

(Similarly--as no. 452 above.)

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

‘More weak than Ya’qūb bin Atā ’?’ He said: ‘Yes’. Then he said: ‘I did not see anyone transmitting on authority of Muhammad bin Abd Allah bin Ubayd bin Umayr’.

ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ فَضَعَّفَهُ جِدًّا فَقِيلَ لِيَحْيَى أَضْعَفُ مِنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ نَعَمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ مَا كُنْتُ أُرَى أَنَّ أَحَدًا يَرْوِي عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ

This hadith is narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ by another chain of narrators, Muhammad b. Abd al-A'la, Mu'tamir, Abu 'Uthman, Zuhair b. 'Amr, Qabisa b. Mukhariq.

A hadith like this has been narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the authority of Ibn 'Umar with another chain of transmitters.

A hadith like this has been narrated by Abu Huraira.

A hadith like this has been narrated by Hammam b. Munabbih on the authority of Abu Huraira.

A hadith like this has been transmitted by Anas from the Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him).

A hadith like this has been narrated by the same chain of transmitters.

عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Anas through another chain of transmitters.

A hadith like this has been narrated by 'Ubaidullah b. Umar with the the same chain of transmitters.

أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ

[AI] Hamza ibn Abdullah ibn Umar narrated it to me and mentioned it.

حَدَّثَنِي حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَذَكَرَهُ

[AI] "From Abdullah son of Amr son of Al-Aas, something similar to that."

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو نَحْوَهُ

[AI] From Amr ibn Wahb, he said: "He mentioned something similar to it."

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ وَهْبٍ يَعْنِي فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

[AI] About Muadh bin Jabal

عَنْ مُعَاذٍ بِنَحْوِهِ

When I came to Madinah, sickness was occurring in the city and they were dying quickly. I sat with 'Umar bin al Khattab ؓ and a funeral passed by, Good things were said about (the deceased) and ‘Umar ؓ said: It is due. Then another (funeral) passed by; good things were said about (the deceased) and he said: It is due. Then a third funeral passed by: bad things were said about the deceased and ‘Umar said: It is due. I said: What is due, O Ameer al Mu'mineen? He said: I said what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿAny Muslim in whose favour four people testify, Allah will admit him to Paradise.ʿ We said: Or three? He said: “Or three.ʿ We said: Or two? He said: ʿOr two.” Then we did not ask him about one, (Using translation from Aḥmad 204)

Ibn ʿUmar used to send his Hadi from Jam' (to Mina) in the last third of the night with the pilgrims amongst whom there were free men and slaves, till it was taken into the Manhar (slaughtering place) of the Prophet ﷺ . (Using translation from Bukhārī 1711)

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

عَنْ عُمَرَ

[AI] About my son, O Messenger of Allah? He said, "Yes."

عَنِ ابْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ»

"Indeed Khamr comes from wheat." [After mentioning this, he said:] and this is more correct than the narration of Ibrahim bin Muhajir (no. 1872). 'Ali bin Al-Madini said: "Yahya bin Sa'eed said: 'Ibrahim bin Al-Muhajir is not strong [in Hadith].'" And it has also been reported through other rotes from Ash-Sha'bi, from An-Nu'man bin Bashir. عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ

“I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah about hyenas: ‘Are they game (that can be hunted)?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Can I eat them?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Is this something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3236)
