[Machine] "Do you know, O Maqil, that I shed blood?" He said, "I did not know." He said, "Do you know that I engaged in some dealings with the prices of the Muslims' goods?" He said, "I did not know." Then he said, "Sit me down." Then he said, "Listen, O Ubaidullah, until I tell you something that I have not heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ once or twice. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever engages in any dealings with the prices of the Muslims' goods to overcharge them, then it is the right of Allah to make him sit on a bone from the Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection.' He said, 'Did you hear it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?' He said, 'Yes, not once or twice.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Recite it (meaning Surah Yasin) to your dead." Ali ibn Ishaq said in his narration.
[Machine] "I am telling you a hadith that I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, 'Whoever is entrusted with the care of people and does not advise them, he will not find the scent of Paradise, and its scent can be found from a distance of one hundred years.' Ibn Ziyad said, 'Didn't you inform me of this before?' He replied, 'If it wasn't for the situation you are currently in, I wouldn't have informed you about it.'"
10.19 [Machine] Qatada bin Mulhan
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to fast the days of the white (nights): thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth of the month. He said: This is like keeping perpetual fast. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2449)
[Machine] He narrated to us Mo'tamir and mentioned his likeness.
[Machine] The translation of the passage into English is:
"The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to command them to fast the white days and he would say, 'They are the fasting of the month,' or he said, 'of the lifetime.'"

10.21 [Machine] A man from Baahla
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for a certain need, and he asked, "Who are you?" I said, "Don't you recognize me?" He asked, "Who are you?" I said, "I am Al-Bahili, the one who came to you in the first year." He said, "Indeed, you came to me, and your body, color, and appearance are good, so what happened to you?" I said, "By Allah, I have not broken my fast since I last saw you except for one night." He asked, "Who commanded you to torture yourself?" I replied, "Three times, I tried to fast the entire month of Ramadan, but I found it difficult. However, I would like to increase my fasting." He said, "Then fast one day a month." I said, "I would like to increase." He said, "Then fast two days." I insisted on increasing, and he allowed me to fast three days a month. I persisted, and when I reached the third day, I found it difficult. I said, "I would like to increase." He said, "Then fast for three days a month. And don't fast more than that."
10.22 [Machine] Zuhair bin Uthman
[Machine] It is said that "Ma'roof" refers to something that is praised or considered good. It is said that Zuhayr ibn Uthman reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The wedding feast is a right, the second day is 'ma'roof', and the third day is a fame and showoff."
that the Messenger of Allah said: 'The wedding feast on the first day is an obligation, on the second day is a custom and on the third day is showing off.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1915)
10.23 [Machine] Anas ibn Malik, one of the Banu Ka'b
"Abu Qilabah narrated this Hadith to us, then he said: 'Do you want to meet the one who narrated this Hadith?' He directed me to him and I met him and he said: 'A relative of mine who was called to the Messenger of Allah concerning some camels of mine that had been taken away. When I saw him he was eating, and he called me to eat with him, but I said: 'I saw him he was eating, and he called me to eat with him, but I said: I am fasting.' He said: 'Come close and I will tell you but that. Allah has waived fasting and half of the prayer for the traveler." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2276)
[Machine] "Horses from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raided us, so I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and arrived to find him eating. He said to me, 'Come closer and eat.' I said, 'I am fasting.' So, he mentioned the saying."
10.24 [Machine] My father is Malik
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever reaches his parents or one of them, and then enters the Fire after that, then may Allah remove him and crush him."
10.25 [Machine] A Man from Khazaa.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to those who had embraced Islam, "Fast today." They replied, "But we have already eaten." He said, "Then fast the rest of your day, meaning the day of Ashura."
10.26 [Machine] Malik ibn al-Harith
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said: "Whoever takes care of an orphan, whether they are a Muslim between two Muslim parents, by providing them with food and drink until they are self-sufficient, Paradise becomes obligatory for them. And whoever frees a slave, whether it be a male or a female Muslim, their liberation from the Fire becomes obligatory. And whoever reaches old age and has both parents or one of them, but does not enter Paradise, then may Allah distance them (from His mercy)."
[Machine] "He heard the Prophet ﷺ say: Whoever takes care of an orphan, being a Muslim with two Muslim parents, by providing him with food and drink until he becomes self-sufficient, Paradise is guaranteed for him. And whoever frees a Muslim slave, his reward will be his emancipation from the Fire, limb by limb."
10.27 [Machine] Amr ibn Salamah
Messenger of Allah, who will lead us in prayer? He said: The one of you who knows most of the Qur’an, or memorizes most of the Qur’an, (should act as your imam). There was none in the clan who knew more of the Qur’an than I did. They, therefore, put me in front of them and I was only a boy. And I wore a mantle, Whenever I was present in the gathering of Jarm (name of his clan), I would act as their Imam, and lead them in their funeral prayer until today. Abu Dawud said: This tradition has been narrated by ‘Amr b. Salamah through a different chain of transmitter. This version has: “When my clan visited the Prophet( may peace be upon him) ....” He did not report it on the authority of his father. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 587)
[Machine] And Ismail said: "Once, the people passed by us on their way back from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ . So, I approached them and listened until I memorized the Quran. The people were waiting for the conquest of Makkah to embrace Islam. When Makkah was conquered, a man would come to the Messenger of Allah and say, 'O Messenger of Allah, I am the envoy of the tribe of so-and-so, and I have come to embrace Islam.' Then, my father would go to his people to announce their Islam and return to them. So, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Let those who have memorized the most Quran among you come forward.' They looked and I was only a boy, yet they did not find anyone who had memorized more Quran than me. They brought me forward, and I led them in prayer while I was wearing a sheet. Whenever I bowed or prostrated, my nakedness would be exposed. After we finished praying, an elderly woman said to us, 'O people, I have been blind for a long time, so protect us from your reader.' They cut a piece of their garment for me as I remembered how happy he, the Prophet, was with it, very delighted."
[Machine] The caravans used to come to us from the side of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and we would sit and learn from them. They would tell us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one among you who knows the most Quran should lead you in prayer."
10.28 [Machine] The runner Bin Khaled Bin Houzah
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon to the people on the day of Arafah while riding on a standing camel between the two saddlebags.
[Machine] He is called Al-Zujaj. When we finished our rituals, we came until we reached Al-Zujaj. We stayed there and rested. Then we continued until we reached a well where there were dyed ropes and people talking. We asked them, "Is this where the Prophet's ﷺ house is?" They said, "Yes, he was here and that is his house." We continued until we reached the house and greeted the people inside. They gave us permission to enter. Inside, there was an old man lying down, whose name was Al-Adaa' ibn Khalid Al-Kalabi. I asked him, "Are you the one who accompanied the Prophet ﷺ ?" He said, "Yes, if it weren't night I would have read to you the book of the Prophet ﷺ that he recited to me." Then he asked, "Who are you?" We replied, "We are from the people of Basra." He said, "Welcome, what is Yazeed ibn Muhalab doing?" We replied, "He is there, calling people to the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ ." He asked, "What do you think about them? Who should we follow, them or the people of Sham?" He replied, "If you sit down with them, you will be successful and guided. I don't know anyone other than them who said this. I saw the Prophet ﷺ on the Day of Arafah when he was standing between the two stone pillars, calling out with the loudest voice, 'O people, what day is this for you?' They replied, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He asked, 'What month is this for you?' They replied, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He asked, 'What city is this for you?' They replied, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said, 'Indeed, your blood and wealth are sacred to you, just as this day is sacred in this month of yours in this city of yours, until you meet your Lord, and He will ask you about your deeds.' Then he raised his hands to the sky and said, 'O Allah, bear witness to this. O Allah, bear witness to this.' I don't know how many times he repeated this statement."

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am a sick man, so permit me to stay in a place where I can take shelter." He said, "Permission is granted for you to do so."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The Hour will not be established until a major earthquake occurs and it will be said, 'Who is left from the descendants of so-and-so?' I knew that he was referring to the Arabs, because non-Arabs are attributed to their cities."

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Even I, when a date palm or a tree from Paradise speaks, I respond."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, after me there will be from my Ummah a group of people who recite the Qur'an, but it will not go beyond their throats. They will leave the religion just as an arrow pierces through its target, and they will never come back to it. They are the worst of creation and creatures." Ibn As-Samit said: "So I met Rafi'ah, the brother of Al-Hakam ibn 'Amr, and I narrated this Hadith to him." He said: "I too have heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."

[Machine] Muhammad son of Al-Adra sent me on a mission. As I was leaving the city through one of its roads, he came across me and I accompanied him until we reached Uhud. He then faced the city and said, "Woe to its mother! On the day its people leave it." I asked, "O Prophet of Allah, who will eat its fruits?" He replied, "The birds and the wild animals." He said, "The Dajjal (Antichrist) will never enter it. Every time he tries to enter, he will be met by an angel armed with a spear, who will prevent him." Then we proceeded until we reached the door of the mosque. He said, "Do you testify to what you say?" I asked, "O Prophet of Allah, this is so-and-so, one of the best or one of the most frequent in prayer among the people of Madinah." He replied, "Do not mention him, lest you destroy him two or three times. You are a nation for whom ease is intended."

[Machine] About a man named Mahjan, who converted to Islam, and spoke about him.
[Machine] I hope I arrived with Mahjan one day, until we reached the mosque of Basra and found Buraydah al-Aslami sitting at one of the mosque's gates. He said, "There was a man in the mosque called Sukbah who prolongs the prayer." When we reached the mosque's gate with Buraydah on it, he said, "Buraydah was known for his humor and said to me, 'O Mahjan, don't you pray as Sukbah prays?'" Mahjan did not respond to him and returned. He said, "Mahjan told me that the Messenger of Allah held my hand and went until he reached Uhud and stood on it and looked at the city. He said, 'Woe to its mother, a village whose people will leave it as barren as it never was. The Dajjal would come to it and find an angel guarding each of its gates, preventing him from entering.' He said then he descended until we were near the fence of the mosque, and the Messenger of Allah saw a man praying in the mosque, prostrating, bowing, and prostrating and bowing. He said, 'Who is this?' I took his hand and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, this is so-and-so and this is so-and-so.' He said, 'Be quiet, do not let him hear you, for it will destroy him.' He then walked until we reached his grave, but he refused to shake my hand. Then he said, 'Indeed, the best of your religion is its easiest. Indeed, the best of your religion is its easiest. Indeed, the best of your religion is its easiest.'"

10.33 [Machine] A man from the Ansar
[Machine] I left my family seeking the Prophet ﷺ, and there he was, standing with a man approaching him. I thought that they needed something, so I said, "By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not rest until I made my property a legacy for him due to his long standing. When he left, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, the man stood up for you until I made my property a legacy for you due to his long standing." He said, "And I saw him." I said, "Yes." He said, "Do you know who he is?" I said, "No." He said, "That is Gabriel. He still advises me about my neighbor until I thought he will inherit from me." Then he said, "If you send greetings upon him, he will return the greetings to you."

10.34 [Machine] A man heard the Prophet ﷺ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ heard while he was in the valley of villages and he was on his horse. A man from Bani Bulaq asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, who are these?" He replied, "These are those who have incurred divine wrath," and he pointed towards the Jews. The man then asked, "And who are these?" The Prophet replied, "These are the misguided ones," meaning the Christians. Another man came to him and said, "My master, so-and-so has been killed." The Prophet said, "Nay, he will be dragged to the Hellfire in a cloak made of his own sins."

10.35 [Machine] Once upon a time
[Machine] I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and Bahz narrated a hadith saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A turmoil will come forth like the waves of dark clouds. This is it, and those who are with him are upon the truth." I said, "So I left and grabbed onto the edge of his garment and behold, it was Uthman ibn Affan."
[Machine] While we were with the Prophet of Allah ﷺ on a road in one of the outskirts of the city, he said, "How do you see the fitnah (tribulation) that is erupting in different parts of the Earth, as if it is the hump of a cow?" They asked, "What should we do, O Prophet of Allah?" He said, "Stick to this (meaning me) and my companions, or follow this (meaning Ali) and his companions." So I hurried until I caught up with the man and said, "This, O Prophet of Allah?" He said, "Yes, that is Uthman bin Affan."

10.36 [Machine] Excess, or more, Ben Hawala
[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on one of his journeys. The people found a place to stay, and the Prophet ﷺ found shelter in the shade of a tree. He saw me while I was facing a need, and there was no one else but him and the person who was writing for him. He said, "Shall I write you, O Ibn Hawala?" I asked, "How come, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "For it is on me." Then he went to the writer and said something to him. I approached them after that, and saw in the book the names of Abu Bakr and Umar. I thought that they would not be mentioned unless it was for something good. He asked again, "Shall I write you, O Ibn Hawala?" I said, "Yes, O Prophet of Allah." He said, "O Ibn Hawala, how will you fare in a trial that will shake the corners of the earth like the shaking of young camels?" I asked, "What shall I do, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Go to Sham (Syria)." Then he asked, "How will you fare in a trial that will be like the first jerk of a rabbit?" I said, "I don't know how." He replied, "In that case, it is beloved to me that you are in the Hereafter rather than in this world."

10.37 [Machine] Abdullah bin Huwala
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is saved from three things, he has indeed been saved from three forms of death: the death of my people, the Antichrist (Dajjal), and being killed by a tyrant ruler who denies the truth and oppresses others.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There will be armies in Sham (Syria) and armies in Yemen." A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, be pleased with me if that happens." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You should go to Sham, go to Sham, go to Sham. There are three times. If a person refuses, then let him join his Yemen and let him drink from its betrayal. Indeed, Allah has guaranteed me and its people." Abu An-Nadrimah (narrator) said, "Let him join his Yemen."
10.38 [Machine] Ongoing Bin Qudama
[Machine] He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me something that will benefit me and make it easy for me so that I can understand it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not get angry." He repeated it to him several times, saying, "Do not get angry."
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, say a word to me and make it concise, so he (the Prophet) mentioned the hadith."
[Machine] He came to the Messenger of Allah and said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me something that will benefit me and keep it brief." So the Prophet mentioned the hadith.
10.39 [Machine] A man saw the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
[Machine] A man stood before us in our gathering in Al-Baqi' and said, "My father or my uncle told me that he saw the Prophet ﷺ in Al-Baqi', saying, 'Whoever gives in charity, I will testify for him on the Day of Resurrection.' So, I took off my two dirty rags (torn clothes) and I wanted to give them in charity. Then, what can be given in charity by the son of Adam met me, and I tied the two rags with my Imama (turban). A man came whom I had not seen in Al-Baqi' to be whiter than him or more beautiful than his eyes, and his camel was the best camel I had ever seen in Al-Baqi'. He asked, 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ ! Is this a charity?' The Prophet ﷺ replied, 'Yes.' The man said, 'This is better than the camel.' A man sitting by his side said, 'He gives it in charity whereas he is better than it!' The Prophet ﷺ heard this and said, 'You have lied. No, but he (the person who gave the charity) is better than him and from it (the camel) there will be three intercessions.' Then, the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Woe to the owners of the camels who burden themselves with them (by overloading), yet they will not reach (their destination) except in a miserable state.' They said, 'Except the one, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'Except the one who says this and that (provides good provisions) and collects his hands from his right and left sides.' Then, he said, 'Indeed, the one who renounces the worldly life and makes effort in worship is indeed successful.'"

10.40 [Machine] Qarat Al Mazni
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ and Muhammad ibn Ja'far, Shu'bah narrated from Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "When the people of Sham become corrupt, there is no good in you. A group from my Ummah will remain victorious and unaffected by those who betray them until the Day of Judgment comes."
