[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ and Muhammad ibn Ja'far, Shu'bah narrated from Mu'awiyah ibn Qurrah, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "When the people of Sham become corrupt, there is no good in you. A group from my Ummah will remain victorious and unaffected by those who betray them until the Day of Judgment comes."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا فَسَدَ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ فَلَا خَيْرَ فِيكُمْ وَلَنْ تَزَالَ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْصُورِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ wiped my head.  

مَسَحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَى رَأْسِي  

[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, indeed I slaughter the sheep while being merciful to it, or he said: Indeed, I am merciful to the sheep by slaughtering it. He (the Prophet) said: And the sheep, if you show it mercy, Allah will show you mercy."  

يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي لَأَذْبَحُ الشَّاةَ وَأَنَا أَرْحَمُهَا أَوْ قَالَ إِنِّي أَرْحَمُ الشَّاةَ أَنْ أَذْبَحَهَا فَقَالَ وَالشَّاةُ إِنْ رَحِمْتَهَا رَحِمَكَ اللهُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting for three days every month is fasting for the entire lifetime, and its reward is equivalent to that of fasting the whole year, and the reward of its breaking the fast."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صِيَامُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ صِيَامُ الدَّهْرِ وَإِفْطَارُهُ  

[Machine] A man used to come to the Prophet ﷺ with his son. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Do you love him?" The man replied, "O Messenger of Allah, may Allah love you as I love him." The Prophet ﷺ lost the boy, so he asked, "What happened to the son of so-and-so?" They replied, "O Messenger of Allah, he passed away." The Prophet ﷺ said to his father, "Would you not want to enter any of the gates of Paradise and find him waiting for you?" A man then asked, "O Messenger of Allah, is this privilege for him only or for all of us?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Rather, it is for all of you."  

إِنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ ابْنٌ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَتُحِبُّهُ؟ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَحَبَّكَ اللهُ كَمَا أُحِبُّهُ فَفَقَدَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَا فَعَلَ ابْنُ فُلَانٍ؟ قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَاتَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لِأَبِيهِ أَمَا تُحِبُّ أَنْ لَا تَأْتِيَ بَابًا مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا وَجَدْتَهُ يَنْتَظِرُكَ؟ فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَهُ خَاصَّةً أَوْ لِكُلِّنَا؟ قَالَ بَلْ لِكُلِّكُمْ  

[Machine] "A man used to come to the Prophet ﷺ and mention something similar to him."  

أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If the people of Sham (Greater Syria) are corrupted, then there is no good in you. There will always be a group of people from my ummah (nation) who will be victorious, and they will not be harmed by those who betray them, until the Hour (i.e., the Day of Judgment) is established."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا فَسَدَ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ فَلَا خَيْرَ فِيكُمْ وَلَا يَزَالُ نَاسٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْصُورِينَ لَا يُبَالُونَ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ  

I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a company of Muzainah and we swore allegiance to him. The buttons of his shirt were open. I swore allegiance to him and I put my hand inside the collar of his shirt and felt the seal. 'Urwah said: I always saw Mu'awiyah and his son opening their buttons of the collar during winter and summer. They never closed their buttons. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4082)   

أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي رَهْطٍ مِنْ مُزَيْنَةَ فَبَايَعْنَاهُ وَإِنَّ قَمِيصَهُ لَمُطْلَقٌ قَالَ فَبَايَعْنَاهُ ثُمَّ أَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي فِي جَيْبِ قَمِيصِهِ فَمَسِسْتُ الْخَاتَمَ قَالَ عُرْوَةُ فَمَا رَأَيْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَلَا ابْنَهُ قَالَ وَأُرَاهُ يَعْنِي إِيَاسًا فِي شِتَاءٍ قَطُّ وَلَا حَرٍّ إِلَّا مُطْلِقَيْ إِزَرَارِهِمَا لَا يَزُرَّانِ  

[Machine] "I came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked for permission to put my hands inside his pockets to seek his prayers for me. He did not prevent me and as I touched him, he made a supplication for me. I found on the shoulder of his garment a mark like a dented object."  

أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَاسْتَأْذَنْتُهُ أَنْ أُدْخِلَ يَدِي فِي جُرُبَّانِهِ لِيَدْعُوَ لِي فَمَا مَنَعَهُ وَأَنَا أَلْمِسُهُ أَنْ دَعَا لِي قَالَ فَوَجَدْتُ عَلَى نُغْضِ كَتِفِهِ مِثْلَ السِّلْعَةِ  

[Machine] "He came to the Prophet ﷺ , so he prayed for him and wiped his head."  

أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَدَعَا لَهُ وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said about fasting three days of the month, it is like fasting for a lifetime and its breaking of fast.
