[Machine] On the authority of Bashir ibn al-Khasasiyah, Bashir, the messenger of Allah ﷺ , said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man walking between the graves wearing two shoes, so he said, "O wearer of the two sandals, throw them."

[Machine] "And his name was not Bishir, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named him Bishir. Indeed, we have a neighbor from the Banu Tamim tribe who never fails to help us when we are in need. And they hide some of their wealth from us. Should we take it?" He said, "No."

ahmad:20786ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Ayyūb > Shaykh from Banī Sadūs Yuqāl Lah

[Machine] Bashir ibn al-Khasaasiyyah heard about it and he came to the Prophet ﷺ and called him Bashir. Then he mentioned the narration.

ahmad:20787Yazīd b. Hārūn > Aswad b. Shaybān > Khālid b. Sumayr > Bashīr b. Nahīk

[Machine] On the authority of Bashir, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I used to walk with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , holding his hand. He said to me, 'O son of Al-Khasasiah, why do you seek revenge on Allah? You walk with His Messenger.' I replied, 'I thought that I had sought revenge on Allah for something, but Allah has granted me all goodness.' He said, 'We approached the graves of the polytheists and he said, 'Indeed, these people have surpassed in goodness three times.' Then we approached the graves of the Muslims and he said, 'Indeed, these people have attained much goodness three times.' He said, 'Then he saw a man walking among the graves wearing two types of shoes, so he said, 'Woe to you, O owner of two shoes! Either remove both or wear them together.' The man looked, and when he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he took off his shoes."

ahmad:20788ʿAbd al-Ṣamad > al-Aswad > Khālid b. Sumayr > Bashīr b. Nahīk

[Machine] Bashir, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me, and his name in the pre-Islamic era was Zahm ibn Ma'bad. He emigrated to the Messenger of Allah and asked him, "What is your name?" Zahm replied, "Zahm." The Messenger of Allah said, "No, rather your name is Bashir." So his name became Bashir. Abu Shayban, who is Aswad ibn Shayban, narrated the hadith and said, "I grabbed his hand and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, by my father and mother, I do not seek revenge against Allah.' So he mentioned the hadith and said, 'O companion of the two Sabtis, drop your two Sabtis.'"
