AbdurRahman ibn Tarafah said that his grandfather Arfajah ibn As'ad who had his nose cut off at the battle of al-Kilab got a silver nose, but it developed a stench, so the Prophet ﷺ ordered him to get a gold nose. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4232)
[Machine] "That he was wounded in his nose on the day of the dogs in the pre-Islamic era, so he mentioned a similar incident."
[Machine] He saw his grandfather, meaning he recognized him.
[Machine] "That his nose was injured on the day of the dogs in the pre-Islamic era, so he mentioned a similar incident."
[Machine] His grandfather, Arfajah, was hit in the nose on the day of the dogs, so he mentioned the incident.
[Machine] He injured his nose on the day of the dogs, meaning the water they had disputed over during the time of ignorance. So, he mentioned a similar incident and said at the end, "So I took a golden nose as a replacement, but you are not like it."
[Machine] I heard my father say, "A group of people from the companions of Hadith came and sought permission from Abi Al-Ashhab, and he granted it to them. They said, 'Tell us.' He replied, 'Ask.' They said, 'We do not have anything to ask you about.' Then his daughter from behind the curtain said, 'Ask him about the Hadith of Arfajah bin As'ad when his nose was injured on the Day of the Battle of Kullab.'"
I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Different evils will make their appearance in the near future. Anyone who tries to disrupt the affairs of this Umma while they are united you should strike him with the sword whoever he be. (If remonstrance does not prevail with him and he does not desist from his disruptive activities, he is to be killed.) (Using translation from Muslim 1852a)
