[Machine] He injured his nose on the day of the dogs, meaning the water they had disputed over during the time of ignorance. So, he mentioned a similar incident and said at the end, "So I took a golden nose as a replacement, but you are not like it."  

أحمد:٢٠٢٧٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي الْحَرْبِيَّ السِّمْسَارَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ الْعُطَارِدِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ طَرَفَةَ بْنِ عَرْفَجَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ

أُصِيبَ أَنْفُهُ يَوْمَ الْكُلَابِ يَعْنِي مَاءً اقْتَتَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ قَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ فَاتَّخَذْتُ أَنْفًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَمَا أَنْتَنَ عَلَيَّ
