[Machine] We came to the Prophet ﷺ while we were young. He kept us with him for about twenty nights. Then, he said to us, "If you go back to your lands and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is gentle, teach them." Suraig said, "And you ordered them to perform the prayer such and such times." Yunus said, "And teach them to perform the prayer like this and this at certain times. And when the time for prayer comes, let one of you give the call to prayer and the oldest among you lead the prayer."
[Machine] Narrated by Malik bin Al-Huwayrith, also known as Abu Sulaiman, he said: "We came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he was accompanied by one or two of his companions. One of them said, 'I am his companion, Ayub or Khalid.' The Prophet ﷺ then said to both of them, 'When the prayer is due, call the Adhan and Iqamah, and let the older one of you lead the prayer, and pray as you have seen me pray.'"
[Machine] On the authority of Malik ibn al-Huwayrith, who was one of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: The Prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands when he entered into prayer, and when he went into prostration, and when he lifted his head from the bowing position until his ears.
a man among them said: "Malik bin Al-Huwairith came to us in our Musalla to narrate. One day when it was time for Salat, we told him to go ahead (to lead the prayer). He said: 'Let one of you go forward, until I narrate to you why I would not go forward (to lead prayer): I heard Messenger of Allah saying: "Whoever visits a people, then he does not lead them, but a man among them leads them." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 356)
[Machine] Malik ibn al-Huwayrith used to come to us in our mosque and mention the hadith, meaning the hadith of his father.
It was narrated that Malik bin Huwairith said that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said Allahu Akbar, he would raise his hands until they were close to his ears; when he bowed in Ruku’ he did likewise, and when he raised his head from Ruku’ he did likewise. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 859)
"I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he started to pray, raise his hands, and when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing, until they were parallel with the top of his ears." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 881)
[Machine] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands towards the level of his ears during the act of bowing and prostrating."
[Machine] He used to come to our mosque, and when the prayer was established, he was told to come forward and lead us in prayer. He replied, "One of you should lead the prayer until I inform you why I do not pray with you." When the people finished praying, he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When one of you visits a people, he should not pray with them, but should let one of them lead the prayer.'"
[Machine] He said to his companions one day, "Shall I not show you how the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be?" He said, "This was during a prayer other than the obligatory prayer. He stood and stood for a while, then bowed and bowed for a while, then raised his head and stood upright for a moment. Then he prostrated and then raised his head. He would make takbir in the sitting position and then wait for a moment, then prostrate." Abu Qilaba said, "He prayed a prayer like the prayer of our Sheikh, Amr bin Salamah Al-Jarmi, who used to lead us in prayer during the time of the Prophet ﷺ ." Ayyub said, "I saw Amr bin Salamah doing something that I do not see you doing. When he raised his head from the two prostrations, he sat for a while and then stood up from the first and third rak'ahs."
