Ubayy ibn Ka'b mentioned that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is some wisdom in poetry."

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Some poetry contains wisdom."

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً

Abu Ayyub reported that he had heard like this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ

The severer of the tie of kinship would not get into Paradise.

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ قَاطِعُ رَحِمٍ

In poetry there is wisdom.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً

A desert Arab came to the Prophet ﷺ and began to speak. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: In eloquence there is magic and in poetry there is wisdom.

جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَجَعَلَ يَتَكَلَّمُ بِكَلاَمٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed some poetry is wisdom".

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا

"In some poetry there is wisdom."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ لَحِكْمَةً

"In some poetry there is wisdom."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكَمًا

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً»

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever is silent, he is saved.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَمَتَ نَجَا»

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed some poetry is wisdom" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2844)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا وَمِنَ البَيَانِ سِحْرًا

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed some poetry is wisdom" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2844)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ القَوْلِ سِحْرًا

أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَتَكَلَّمَ بِكَلامٍ بَيِّنٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنَ البَيَانِ سِحْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, there is wisdom in poetry and there is charm in eloquence."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ البَيَانِ سِحْرًا

that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed some poetry is wisdom" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2844)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكَمًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ البَيَانِ سِحْرًا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ encountered a man who started praising him, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, there is magic in eloquence and there is wisdom in poetry."

أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَجُلٌ فَجَعَلَ يُثْنِي عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنَ البَيَانِ سِحْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حُكْمًا

[AI] "Except that the Prophet ﷺ said, or as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَّا قَالَ أَوْ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, completing the prayer includes establishing the rows."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ مِنْ تَمَامِ الصَّلَاةِ إِقَامَةَ الصَّفِّ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Woe to the Achilles' tendon because of Hell-fire." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 454)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying: "Indeed, Cupping is among the best of your treatments."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ خَيْرِ دَوَائِكُمُ الْحِجَامَةَ

This tradition has also been transmitted by Sa'd (b. Abi Waqqas) from the Prophet ﷺ in a similar manner through a different chain of narrators. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1470)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, you shall have what you have anticipated."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَا إِنَّ لَكَ مَا احْتَسَبْتَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, usury is only in women."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّمَا الرِّبَا فِي النَّسَاءِ

“The believer dies with sweat on his brow.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1452)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ يَمُوتُ بِعَرَقِ الْجَبِينِ

[AI] We were with Abu Hurairah when Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib came to us and greeted us with peace. We returned the greeting, but Abu Hurairah did not notice him. So we said to him, "O Abu Hurairah, Hasan ibn Ali greeted us with peace." He followed him and said, "And peace be upon you, my master." Then he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'He is a master.'"

كُنَّا مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَجَاءَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْنَا فَسَلَّمَ فَرَدَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ وَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ بِهِ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْنَا لَهُ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ هَذَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَدْ سَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا فَلَحِقَهُ وَقَالَ وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامُ يَا سَيِّدِي ثُمَّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّهُ سَيِّدٌ»

Usama b. Zaid reported Allah's Apostle ﷺ as saying: There can be an element of interest in credit (when the payment is not equal). (Using translation from Muslim 1596b)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّمَا الرِّبَا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, the completion of the prayer is the establishment of the rows."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنْ تَمَامِ الصَّلَاةِ إِقَامَةَ الصَّفِّ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "He who is not merciful to others, will not be treated mercifully. (Using translation from Bukhārī 6013)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ لَا يُرْحَمْ»

Jabir reported that the Throne of the most Compassionate shook because of the death of Sa'd b. Mu'adh. (Using translation from Muslim 2466b)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اهْتَزَّ عَرْشُ الرَّحْمَنِ لِمَوْتِ سَعْدٍ»

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Verily, some forms of speech are magic."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, there is wisdom in poetry and enchantment in speech."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, loyalty is neither transferred nor transformed."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْوَلَاءَ لَيْسَ بِمُنْتَقِلٍ وَلَا مُتَحَوِّلٍ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكَمًا»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكَمًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا» وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَتَمَثَّلُ مِنَ الْأَشْعَارِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, among poetry is wisdom, and indeed, among eloquence is magic."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكَمًا وَإِنَّ مِنَ الْبَيَانِ سِحْرًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, the deceased is punished for the mourning over him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُعَذَّبُ بِمَا نِيحَ عَلَيْهِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "Indeed, there is wisdom in poetry."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً»

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Allah's wealth is a responsibility and trust.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ مَالَ اللهِ مَسْئُولٌ وَمُنْطًى»

[AI] "He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Indeed, Fatimah is a part of me.'"

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ فَاطِمَةَ مُضْغَةٌ مِنِّي»

[AI] He informed him that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, there is wisdom in poetry."

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً
