[Machine] I heard Abu Nawfal ibn Abi Aqrab saying, "My father asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about fasting. He said, 'Fast one day in every month.' My father said, 'O Messenger of Allah, increase me.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Increase me, increase me, and fast two days in every month.' He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, increase me, for I find myself strong.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I find myself strong, I find myself strong, I find myself strong.' He said, 'So I insisted until I thought he would not increase me.' He said, 'Then he said, 'Fast three days in every month.''

[Machine] There was a man from the Tufawat tribe whose way led him to us. He came to the neighborhood and narrated the following story: "I arrived in the city with our camels and we sold our merchandise. Then I said, 'I will go to this man and I will send someone else after me to give him the news.' So, I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he showed me a house. He said, 'A woman used to live in it, but she went out secretly with a group of Muslims, leaving behind twelve goats and their kids, which she used to weave with.' He said, 'She lost one of her goats along with its kid.' She said, 'O Lord, You have guaranteed for those who go out in Your path that You will protect them. I have lost one of my goats along with its kid. I seek Your help in finding them.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was moved by her intense supplication to her Lord. He said, 'In the morning, her goat along with its kid, and the rest of her goats and their kids, will be returned to her. Go and ask her if you wish.' I said, 'Rather, I believe you.'"

[Machine] Bring my children to me, for I want to advise them. He gathered them and said, "The first thing I advise is that my orphan, who is in my house, should receive one hundred camels that we used to call Al-Mutayyibah during the time of Jahiliyyah." Hudhayfah said, "O father, I have heard your sons say that we only agree to this after you pass away, and if you do, then we will take it back." The Prophet ﷺ said, "We have agreed," and Hudhayfah, Hanifah, and Hanzalah, along with a young boy, who was a foster brother to Hudhayfah, stood up. When they came to the Prophet ﷺ , they greeted him. The Prophet ﷺ asked Hudhayfah, "What is your father doing?" He answered, "He advised." The Prophet ﷺ tapped Hudhayfah's thigh with his hand and said, "I feared that old age or death might surprise me, so I wanted to give my advice. I said, 'The first thing I advise is that my orphan, who is in my house, should receive one hundred camels that we used to call Al-Mutayyibah during the time of Jahiliyyah.'" The Prophet ﷺ became angry to the point that we could see it on his face. He was sitting, so he sat on his knees and said, "No, no. Zakah is five, and if not, then a tenths, and if not, then fifteen, and if not, then twenty, and if not, then twenty-five, and if not, then thirty, and if more, then forty." They bid him farewell and took the young orphan along with them, and they were hitting a camel with a stick. The Prophet ﷺ said, "What a great young orphan this is!" Hanzalah said, "I have seen Hanzalah being brought a human or a beast that had a sick face, and he would spit on his hands, say 'Bismillah,' place his hand on the affected area, and say 'This is the place where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand.' Then the sickness would go away."

[Machine] I heard Abu Ghadiyah saying, "I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." Abu Sa'id said, "I asked him, 'Did you pledge allegiance with your right hand?'" He replied, 'Yes.' They both mentioned in the narration that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us on the day of Al-Aqaba and said, 'O people, your blood and wealth are forbidden to each other until the Day you meet your Lord, like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this city of yours. Have I conveyed the message?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'O Allah, bear witness.' Then he said, 'Do not revert to disbelief after me by striking the necks of one another.

[Machine] A book came to us from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , but we did not find anyone who could read it to us until a man from the Banu Dhubay'ah tribe, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Bakr ibn Wail, read it to us and we accepted Islam.

[Machine] A man from the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fell ill, so his companions visited him to see how he was doing. He cried, so they asked him, "What makes you cry, O Abu Abdullah? Did not the Messenger of Allah ﷺ tell you to take medicine and continue taking it until you meet him?" He replied, "Yes, but I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Verily, Allah, the Most Blessed and Exalted, took hold of a handful with His right hand and said, 'This is for this,' and I do not mind. And He took hold of another handful with His other hand and said, 'This is for this,' and I do not mind. So, I do not know which of the two handfuls I am in."

[Machine] We were waiting for the Prophet ﷺ when a man came out with water or ablution dripping from his head and he performed the prayer. When he finished his prayer, the people started asking him, "O Messenger of Allah, do we have to do such and such?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O people, the religion of Allah is easy, and he repeated it three times. Then Yazid said, "He (the Messenger of Allah) added, "Whenever you ask about anything, ask about it in moderation."

[Machine] Ali asked Abu Muslim, "How are you?" He replied, "I am fine." Ali then said, "Will you come out with me to these people and support me?" Abu Muslim answered, "Yes, if you are pleased with what I give you." Ali asked, "And what is it?" The sheikh said, "My dear, bring me my sword." She brought the sheath to him, and he placed it in his room. He took out some of it and lifted his head towards Ali, saying, "If my beloved, ﷺ , and your cousin has entrusted me, in times of conflict between Muslims, to use a wooden sword as my weapon, then this is my sword. If you wish, I will come out with it with you." Ali replied, "We have no need for you or your sword." So he returned from the door of the room without entering.

He said: "So it reached him that those who were left felt resentful and said: 'He gives to some people and leaves others.' " So he ascended the pulpit, praised Allah, and extolled Him, then he said: "Verily, I give to some people and leave some others. I give to men and leave men." 'Affan said: "That one and the one he leaves are both dearer to me than the one he gives. I give to people what they have in their hearts of distress and fear, and I withhold from people what Allah has put in their hearts of wealth and goodness." [Machine] Narrated by a companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ : The first thing for which a servant will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment is their prayer. If they perform it completely, it will be recorded as complete. However, if they do not perform it completely, Allah will say: "Look if my servant has any voluntary prayers, so that the missed obligations can be completed with them." Then, the next thing that will be taken into account is the payment of Zakat (obligatory charity). After that, the rest of the deeds will be evaluated accordingly.

[Machine] A sheikh sat down with us in the place of Ayub and heard the people talking, so he said: My mawla told me about the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , so I said: What is his name? He said: Qurrah ibn Da'mus al-Numairi. He said: I came to Medina and went to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , and there were people around him. I wanted to approach him, but I could not, so I called out to him: O Messenger of Allah, seek forgiveness for the young boy al-Numairi. He said: May Allah forgive you. He said: The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , sent Dihhak ibn Qays as a messenger. When he returned, he came back with a large number of camels, so the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said to him: Did you come to Hilal ibn 'Amir, Numair ibn Amir, and 'Amir ibn Rabia and take their entire wealth? He said: O Messenger of Allah, I heard you mentioning the expedition, so I wanted to come to you with camels that you could ride and carry on them. He said: By Allah, the one you left is more beloved to me than the one you took. Return it and take from the outskirts of their wealth their charity. He said: So I heard the Muslims calling those camels the Mujahid camels.

They said that to him simply by imitating what unbelievers had said in the past. Allah commands: Say, 'Allah speaks the truth, so follow the religion of Abraham, the upright.' He was not one of the polytheists. And so a group among the People of the Book said, 'Believe in what has been revealed to those who believe in the morning and deny it in the evening, so that they can turn back. Say, 'Did Allah tell you this? Who can be more unjust than someone who hides the truth that has come to him? Allah is not unaware of what you do.' These are the people whose hearts, ears, and eyes Allah has sealed up. They are the ones who are heedless. There is no doubt that on the Day of Resurrection, they will be the losers." [Machine] I used to hold the reins of the camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the middle days of Tashreeq. I would keep people away from him. He said, "O people, do you know what day it is? And what month it is? And what city you are in?" They said, "It is a forbidden day, a forbidden month, and a forbidden city." He said, "Indeed, your blood, your wealth, and your honor are forbidden to one another, just as this day of yours is forbidden, and this month of yours is forbidden, and this city of yours is forbidden until the Day you meet Him." Then he said, "Listen to me, you will live. Beware of injustice, beware of injustice, beware of injustice. Indeed, no one's wealth is permissible to another except with a good will. Indeed, every blood, wealth, and honor that existed in the era of ignorance is under my feet until the Day of Resurrection. The first blood to be spilled was the blood of Rabi'ah ibn Al-Harith ibn Abdul-Muttalib. He was breastfeeding among Banu Layth and he was killed by the Hudhayl tribe. Indeed, every form of interest that existed in the era of ignorance is abolished. Indeed, Allah has ruled that the first form of interest to be abolished is the interest of Al-Abbas ibn Abdul-Muttalib. Your heads of wealth are not to be wronged or be wronged. Indeed, time has turned as it was on the day Allah created the heavens and the earth. Then he recited, "Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And of them, they fight the sacred months, then do not mix with you, moving you to become disbelievers after [being] Muslims. They do not harm the Satan but they do harm the believing women by inciting them to disobey Allah in matters concerning their husbands. So fear Allah, regarding women, for indeed they are with you as a trust. They possess nothing for themselves, and indeed, you have rights upon them and they have rights upon you. Do not allow others into your beds after them and do not give permission for them to enter your homes without your approval, if they have displeased you. If you fear their disobedience, advise them, separate from them in bed and strike them without inflicting harm. Humaid asked, "What does it mean by 'without inflicting harm'?" Al-Hasan replied, "Without leaving a mark. They have their livelihood and clothing in a good manner." Indeed, you have taken them with the trust of Allah, and you have made lawful for yourselves their private parts by the word of Allah. And whoever has entrusted you with something, should return it to its owner. And he spread his hands and said, "Did I convey the message?" "Did I convey the message?" "Did I convey the message?" Then he said to me, "Convey the message to the absent witness, for the one who hears it is happier than the one who listens." Humaid said, "Al-Hasan said, when he conveyed this message, I swear to Allah that the message reached people who were happier because of it."
