[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wipe his face.
[Machine] I was with Qatadah ibn Milhan, and Abu Al-Ala ibn Umair mentioned a similar situation.
10.112 [Machine] man
[Machine] A man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you recite while the imam is reciting? Or do you recite behind the imam while the imam is reciting?" They said, "Yes." He said, "Do not do so, except that one of you recites the opening chapter of the Quran in himself, if he wishes." Khalid (narrator) said, "And he narrated to me after that, and he did not say 'if he wishes,' so I said to Abu Qilabah, 'If he wishes?' He said, 'I do not remember it.'"
10.113 [Machine] My father, Asib
[Machine] Bahz witnessed the prayer on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and they said, "How should we send blessings upon him?" He said, "Enter from one door and exit from another." So they used to enter through one door and send blessings upon him, then they would exit from another door. When he was buried, Al-Mughirah said, "There remains something in his legs that we have not fixed." They said, "Go in and fix it." So he entered and inserted his hand and touched his legs. He then said, "Bring me some soil to rub my hands on." So they brought him soil and he rubbed it on his hands until it reached his shins. Then he came out and said, "I am informing you of a covenant with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
[Machine] I heard Abu Asib, a servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Gabriel came to me with fever and plague. So, I kept the fever in Medina and sent the plague to Syria. Verily, the plague is a witness for my Ummah, a mercy and a punishment upon the disbelievers."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out one night and passed by me, so he called me to him and I went out. Then he passed by Abu Bakr and called him, and he went out to him. Then he passed by Umar and called him, and he went out to him. Then they set off until they entered a wall belonging to some of the Ansar, and he said to the owner of the wall, "Give us some bread." So he brought a piece of bread and placed it, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions ate from it. Then he called for cold water and drank from it. He said, "You will be asked about this on the Day of Resurrection." He said, "Then Umar took the piece of bread and struck the ground with it until the bread scattered before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he said, 'O Messenger of Allah, will we be asked about this on the Day of Resurrection?' He said, 'Yes, except for three: the man who breaks his own 'awrah with it, or the one who fills his stomach with it, or a stone that he relieves himself behind.'"

10.114 [Machine] The Amber Poppy
[Machine] I came to the Prophet (saw) and I had my son with me. He asked, "Is he your son?" I said, "Yes." He said, "He shall not harm you, and you shall not harm him."
10.115 [Machine] Abdullah bin Siraj
[Machine] You see this sheikh refers to himself, I spoke with the Prophet of Allah ﷺ , ate with him, and saw the mark between his shoulders, which is on the edge of his left shoulder, like a gathered palm, meaning a gathering of calluses. And he said with his hand, so he clenched it, two horses like the appearance of warts.
When the Messenger of Allah [SAW] traveled, he would say: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min wa'tha'is-safari, wa kabatil-munqalabi, wal-hawri ba'dal-kawri, wa da'watil-mazlumi, wa suw'il-munzari fil-ahli wal-mal (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the hardships of travel and the sorrows of return, from loss after plenty, from the supplication of the one who has been wronged, and seeing some calamity befall my family or wealth.)" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5498)

[Machine] He saw the seal between the shoulders of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and he had seen the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and did not have companionship with him.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should urinate in the hole, and when you sleep, extinguish the lamp, for the mouse takes the wick and burns the house down. Anchor the water skins and cover the drinking vessels, and close the doors at night." They said to Qatadah, "What about urinating in the hole?" He said, "It is said that it is the dwellings of the jinn."
[Machine] Aasim, who has seen the Prophet ﷺ , used to say when going on a journey: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the difficulties of travel, the distressful return, and the sight of the afflicted, and from the evil consequences upon wealth and family." And when he would return, he would say the same except that he would start with "the evil consequences upon the family and wealth."
[Machine] The Fajr prayer was being performed and the Messenger of Allah saw a man praying two units of Fajr. He asked him, "Which of your prayers did you intend with your prayer? Was it your prayer alone or the prayer that you prayed with us?"
[Machine] "I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ate with him from his food. I said, "May Allah forgive you, O Messenger of Allah." He then said, "Should I seek forgiveness for you?" Shu'bah or a man said to him, "Yes, and for you and for the believing men and women." Then I looked at the mole on his right shoulder or his left shoulder, which Shu'bah doubted to be a sign of his prophethood."
[Machine] He said that Abdullah bin Sargis saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , but he did not have any companionship.
[Machine] I saw the Prophet, ﷺ , and entered upon him, and ate from his food, and drank from his drink, and I saw the seal of Prophethood. Hashim said, "On the top of his left shoulder there was a raised area as if it contained two black moles, like pearls."
[Machine] He witnessed the Prophet ﷺ saying, "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to travel, he would say, 'O Allah, You are the companion in the journey and the successor in the family. O Allah, accompany us in our journey and leave us in our families. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the difficulties of travel, the discomforts of returning home, being in a foreign land after our own, the supplication of the oppressed, and the hardships in family and wealth.' It was asked to Asim about 'the discomforts of returning home', and he said, 'It means the heat after what was before it.'"
10.116 [Machine] A woman named Raja
[Machine] I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a woman came to him with her son and said, "O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah for blessings in him, for indeed, three of my children have died." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked her, "Since when did you embrace Islam?" She replied, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He is in a secure garden (in Paradise)." A man then said to me, "Listen, O hopeful one, to what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ says."
[Machine] She is called Maawiyyah, who was breastfeeding her son. Ubaydullah ibn Ma'mar al-Qurashi came to her along with a companion of the Prophet, ﷺ . That man narrated that a woman came to the Prophet, ﷺ , with her son and said, "O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah to give him a long life, for I have lost three children before him." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , asked her, "Have you embraced Islam?" She replied, "Yes." The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "There is a strong fort (in Paradise) for you." Maawiyyah said that Ubaydullah ibn Ma'mar told her, "Listen, O Maawiyyah! Muhammad said this." Then Maawiyyah left Ibn Ma'mar and came to us and narrated this hadith.
10.117 [Machine] Bashir, son of Al-Khasaisha
[Machine] On the authority of Bashir ibn al-Khasasiyah, Bashir, the messenger of Allah ﷺ , said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man walking between the graves wearing two shoes, so he said, "O wearer of the two sandals, throw them."
[Machine] "And his name was not Bishir, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ named him Bishir. Indeed, we have a neighbor from the Banu Tamim tribe who never fails to help us when we are in need. And they hide some of their wealth from us. Should we take it?" He said, "No."
[Machine] Bashir ibn al-Khasaasiyyah heard about it and he came to the Prophet ﷺ and called him Bashir. Then he mentioned the narration.
[Machine] On the authority of Bashir, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I used to walk with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , holding his hand. He said to me, 'O son of Al-Khasasiah, why do you seek revenge on Allah? You walk with His Messenger.' I replied, 'I thought that I had sought revenge on Allah for something, but Allah has granted me all goodness.' He said, 'We approached the graves of the polytheists and he said, 'Indeed, these people have surpassed in goodness three times.' Then we approached the graves of the Muslims and he said, 'Indeed, these people have attained much goodness three times.' He said, 'Then he saw a man walking among the graves wearing two types of shoes, so he said, 'Woe to you, O owner of two shoes! Either remove both or wear them together.' The man looked, and when he saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he took off his shoes."

[Machine] Bashir, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me, and his name in the pre-Islamic era was Zahm ibn Ma'bad. He emigrated to the Messenger of Allah and asked him, "What is your name?" Zahm replied, "Zahm." The Messenger of Allah said, "No, rather your name is Bashir." So his name became Bashir. Abu Shayban, who is Aswad ibn Shayban, narrated the hadith and said, "I grabbed his hand and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, by my father and mother, I do not seek revenge against Allah.' So he mentioned the hadith and said, 'O companion of the two Sabtis, drop your two Sabtis.'"

10.118 [Machine] Um Atiya
[Machine] A woman came and stayed at the palace of Bani Khalaf. She mentioned that her sister was married to a companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who had participated in twelve battles with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . She said, "My sister participated in six of those battles. We used to treat the wounded and take care of the sick. So my sister asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , 'Is there any harm for a woman who does not have a jilbab (outer garment) to not go out?' He replied, 'Let her borrow a jilbab from her companion and witness the good and the prayers of the believers.' When Umm Atiyya arrived, I asked her if she had heard the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ say such and such. She said, 'She only mentioned the word "jilbab." Yes, she said, "Let the free, adult, menstruating women come out and witness the good and the prayers of the believers, and let them stay away from prayers during menstruation." So I asked Umm Atiyya, 'Even the menstruating ones?' She replied, 'Do they not witness Arafah (pilgrimage) and witness this and that?'"

"The Messenger of Allah came to us when we were washing his daughter. He said: 'Wash her three times, or five, or more than that if you think that (is necessary), with water and lotus leaves, and put camphor, or some camphor in (the water) the last time. And when you have finished, inform me.' When we finished, we informed him and he threw his waist-wrap to us and said: 'Shroud her in it."' He said: "Hafsah said: 'We washed her three, or five, or seven times.' Umm 'Atiyyah said: 'We combed her hair into three braids."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1890)
[Machine] During the pledge of allegiance, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ told us not to withdraw, so none of us except for five women withdrew.
“I fought alongside the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in seven campaigns, looking after their goods, making food for them, tending the wounded and looking after the sick.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2856)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us to bring out the barriers and the women in seclusion on the days of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. As for women who are menstruating, they should avoid the prayer area but witness the goodness and supplication of the Muslims. It was asked, "What if a woman does not have a cloak?" He replied, "Then her sister should lend her a cloak from her own cloak."
‘Umm Athiyah reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying “A woman must not observe mourning for more than three (days) except for four months and ten days in the case of a husband and she must not wear a dyed garment except one of the types made of dyed yarn or apply collyrium or touch perfume except for a little costus or azfar when she has been purified after her menstrual courses. The narrator Ya’qub mentioned the words “except washed clothes” instead of the words “one of the types made of dyed yarn”. Ya’qub also added “She must not apply Henna” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2302)
When Zainab the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died, he said to us: Wash her odd number of times, i. e. three or five times, and put camphor or something-like camphor at the fifth time, and after you have washed her inform me. So we informed him and he gave us his under-garment, saying:" Put it next her body." (Using translation from Muslim 939f)
[Machine] When this verse was revealed: "They pledge to you that they will not associate anything with Allah" [Al-Mumtahanah 12] until His saying: "And not disobey you in [any] good" [Al-Mumtahanah 12], it was accompanied by lamentation. So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, except for the family of so-and-so, for they used to please me in the time of ignorance, so it is necessary for me to make them happy." She said, "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Except for the family of so-and-so.'"
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina, he gathered the women of the Ansar in a house. Then Umar ibn al-Khattab was sent to them, he stood at the door and greeted them with peace and they responded with peace. He said, "I am the Messenger of the Messenger of Allah to you." We said, "Welcome to the Messenger of Allah and the Messenger of the Messenger of Allah." He said, "Pledge to me that you will not associate anything with Allah, that you will not commit adultery, that you will not kill your children, that you will not fabricate lies that you attribute to yourselves, and that you will not disobey him in righteousness." We said, "Yes." So we extended our hands from inside the house and he extended his hand from outside the house. Then he said, "O Allah, bear witness." He ordered us to observe the two Eid prayers, to free slaves, and to give charity during menstruation. He prohibited us from following burial processions and holding congregational prayers exclusively for women. I asked him about the verse, "And do not disobey you in [anything] good" [Al-Mumtahanah 60:12]. She said, "We were prohibited from wailing."
[Machine] I was among those who pledged allegiance to the Prophet ﷺ, and part of what he took from us was that we should not grieve nor speak about men unless it was necessary.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to separate the menstruating women, the women with postnatal bleeding, and those with urinary incontinence. As for the menstruating women, they would stay away from the prayer area but would witness the goodness and the supplications with the Muslims.
[Machine] We washed the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he commanded us to wash her with sidr (a type of plant) three times, if she survives, and if not, then five times, if she survives, and if not, then more than that. She said, so we saw that more than that (seven times).
[Machine] One of the daughters of the Prophet ﷺ passed away, so he commanded us to wash her three, five, or more times if we saw it necessary. And he commanded us to place something from sidr and camphor in the last wash.
10.119 [Machine] Jabir ibn Samara al-Su'ayyi
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, there will be deceivers before the Day of Judgment."
[Machine] He heard Jabir ibn Samurah saying: The Prophet ﷺ was brought a short man wearing an Izar (lower garment) without a cloak. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was reclining on a pillow on his left side. He spoke to him, and I do not know what he said to him, while I was far away from him and there were people between me and him. He said: Take him away. Then he said: Bring him back. He spoke to him, and I could hear him. He said: Take him away and stone him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up to deliver a sermon, and I could hear him. He said: Whenever we go out in the cause of Allah, one of us has a nanny goat like the nanny goat of a goat, which gives her abundant milk. By Allah, I cannot keep any of them except that I am affectionate towards her.

The Mu'adh-dhin of Messenger of Allah would wait and he would not call the Iqamah until he saw the Messenger of Allah had come out, he would call the Iqamah when he saw him." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 202)

[Machine] From the hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: The religion will continue to exist until there are twelve caliphs from the Quraysh. Then, liars will appear before the Hour comes. Then, a group of Muslims will come out and bring out the treasure of the white palace. They will defeat the Persians and the descendants of the Persians. And when Allah bestows goodness upon one of you, let them begin with themselves and their family. And I am the one who will be at the forefront on the Day of Resurrection.

[Machine] When we used to pray behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we would greet with "peace be upon you" using our right and left hands. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What is the matter with some people who throw their hands as if they were the tails of horses? Shouldn't one of you settle down and indicate with his hand towards his thigh, then greet his companion on his right and left?"
