[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to separate the menstruating women, the women with postnatal bleeding, and those with urinary incontinence. As for the menstruating women, they would stay away from the prayer area but would witness the goodness and the supplications with the Muslims.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us to bring out the barriers and the women in seclusion on the days of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. As for women who are menstruating, they should avoid the prayer area but witness the goodness and supplication of the Muslims. It was asked, "What if a woman does not have a cloak?" He replied, "Then her sister should lend her a cloak from her own cloak."

"Messenger of Allah would order the virgins, the mature women, the secluded and the menstruating to go out for the two Eid. As for the menstruating women, they were to stay away from the Musalla and participate in the Muslims supplications." One of them said: 'O Messenger of Allah! What if she does not have a Jilbab? [Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to make the young girls, the mature women, those secluded in their rooms, and those menstruating go out in procession on the two Eids. The menstruating women, however, would keep away from the prayer area and witness the good and the supplications of the Muslims. One of them said, "What if one of us does not have a jilbab (a loose outer garment)?" He said, "Let her borrow the jilbab of her sister from her garments."

[Machine] Umm 'Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah from Basra came to us and said, "By my father and mother, meaning the Prophet ﷺ , he ordered us to go out on both Eids, the virgins and the menstruating women, to witness the goodness and the supplications of the Muslims."

A woman asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what about if one of us does not have a Jilbab (outer garment)?" He replied, "She should borrow her sister's Jilbab."
