[Machine] He heard Umar ibn Abi Salamah, the stepson of the Prophet ﷺ saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called me and said, 'Come here, my son, and perfume yourself and eat from what is in front of you.'" Abdullah ibn Ahmad narrated to us Luwayn said, Suleiman ibn Bilal narrated to us from Abu Wajzah from Umar ibn Abi Salamah from the Prophet ﷺ similar to this.

[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in the house of Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, wearing only one garment and nothing else on him.
[Machine] "He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ praying in the house of Umm Salamah, wearing a wrapped garment that was distinct on either side."
7.24 [Machine] Abu Salamah ibn Abdul Asad
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: When one of you is afflicted with a calamity, he should say: "We belong to Allah, and to Him we do return." O Allah, I expect reward from Thee from this affliction, so give me reward for it, and give me a better compensation. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3119)
[Machine] Abu Salamah came to me one day from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a saying that pleased me. He said, 'No affliction befalls any of the Muslim people, and he seeks reward from Allah for his affliction, and says, "O Allah, reward me for my affliction and replace it with something better for me," except that Allah will do so.' " Umm Salamah said, "I memorized this from him. When Abu Salamah passed away, I recalled it and said, 'O Allah, reward me for my affliction and replace it with something better for me.' Then I thought to myself, 'From where will something better than Abu Salamah come to me?' When my 'iddah (mourning period) ended, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought my permission to enter while I was dyeing a sheep's wool, and I washed my hands of the dye and gave him permission. I prepared a leather pillow stuffed with fiber for him, and he sat on it. Then he started talking to me, and when he finished his speech, I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have no desire for anything except that I am a jealous woman and I fear that you will see something in me that Allah will punish me for. I am a woman who has entered the age of old age and I have children.' He said, 'Regarding what you mentioned about jealousy, Allah will remove it from you. As for what you mentioned about old age, the same has befallen me. As for what you mentioned about children, your children are my children.' Umm Salamah said, 'So I submitted to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he married me.' Umm Salamah said, 'Indeed, Allah has replaced me with something better than Abu Salamah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."

7.25 [Machine] My father Talha Zaid ibn Suhail al-Ansari about the Prophet ﷺ
Verily, angels do not enter the house in which there is a picture. Busr reported: Zaid fell ill and we went to inquire after his health and (found) that there was hanging at his door a curtain with a picture on it. I said to 'Ubaidullah Khaulani who had been under the patronage of Maimuna, the wife of Allah's Apostle ﷺ: Did not Zaid himself inform us before about (the Holy Prophet's command pertaining to the pictures), whereupon 'Ubaidullah said: Did you not hear when he said:" Except the prints on the cloth"? (Using translation from Muslim 2106d)
[Machine] "When the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , set out towards Khaibar after they had gathered their forces and they went to their land and territory, and when they saw the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , accompanied by the army, they turned back fleeing. And the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar! Indeed, when we descend upon the land of a people, then it is a bad morning for those who are warned.'"
[Machine] It was said to Matar Al Warraqi: "I am with him, from the one who used to take al-Hasan, that he would perform ablution with what changed the fire." He said: "He took it from Anas, and Anas took it from Abu Talhah, and Abu Talhah took it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
[Machine] Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perform ablution from the water that the fire has been changed, and Abu Bakr said, "meaning Ibn Hafs," He said: Az-Zuhri informed us, from Ibn Abi Talha, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ in the same way. And Shu’ba informed us from Al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Huraira, from the Prophet ﷺ in the same way.
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , arrived at Khaybar, and they had gathered their forces and set out early in the morning. When they saw the Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , with his army, they turned and fled. The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest), Allahu Akbar, Khaybar has been ruined. When we set foot in the territory of a people, it is a calamitous morning for those who have been warned."
[Machine] Narrated Qatadah, when Allah said (translated to) "So when the warning came to them in the morning, the morning of the warned ones was not good." [Surah As-Saffat 37: 177], he said Anas ibn Malik reported from Abu Talhah that the Prophet of Allah ﷺ attacked the fortress of Khaybar in the morning and mentioned something similar to it.
[Machine] One day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up feeling content, and a glowing light could be seen on his face. They said, "O Messenger of Allah, you have woken up today feeling content, and a glowing light can be seen on your face." He replied, "Yes, two angels came to me from my Lord and said, 'Whoever sends blessings upon you from your Ummah (nation), Allah will record for him ten good deeds, erase from him ten bad deeds, elevate his rank by ten levels, and respond to him with the same.'"
The Prophet ﷺ said: Angels do not enter the house where there is a picture, or a dog, or a person who is sexually defiled. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 227)
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined Hajj and Umrah.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he defeated a people, he liked to stay with them for three nights.
[Machine] It is narrated that when the Prophet ﷺ would engage in battle against a people and defeat them, he would stay in the battleground for three nights. And on the day of the Battle of Badr, when he ordered the bodies of the Quraish to be thrown into a well in Badr, he said, "Then he went to them and we followed him, and he said, 'O Abu Jahl bin Hisham, O Utbah bin Rabiah, O Shaybah bin Rabiah, O Walid bin Utbah, have you found what your Lord promised you to be true? For I have found what my Lord promised me to be true.' Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) then said, 'O Messenger of Allah, are you speaking to lifeless bodies?' He said, 'By the One who has sent me with the truth, you cannot hear better from them than what I say.' Qatadah said, 'Allah sent him (the Prophet) to admonish them, belittle them, and degrade them.' He said at the beginning of the narration, 'After he finished with the people of Badr, he stayed in the battleground for three nights.'
[Machine] "We were overcome by drowsiness while we were in our ranks on the day of Badr. Abu Talha said, 'I was one of those who were overcome by drowsiness that day, and my sword kept falling from my hand, but I would pick it up again and it would fall again.'"
[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , set out for the battle of Khaybar and his companions had saddled their horses and prepared themselves, they began their journey towards their destination. As they saw the Prophet, ﷺ , with the army, they turned away in retreat. The Prophet, ﷺ , exclaimed, "Allahu Akbar! Allahu Akbar! When we descend upon a people's land, it is a dreadful morning for the warned."
On the day of Badr, the Prophet ﷺ ordered that the corpses of twenty four leaders of Quraish should be thrown into one of the dirty dry wells of Badr. (It was a habit of the Prophet ﷺ that whenever he conquered some people, he used to stay at the battle-field for three nights. So, on the third day of the battle of Badr, he ordered that his she-camel be saddled, then he set out, and his companions followed him saying among themselves." "Definitely he (i.e. the Prophet) is proceeding for some great purpose." When he halted at the edge of the well, he addressed the corpses of the Quraish infidels by their names and their fathers' names, "O so-and-so, son of so-and-so and O so-and-so, son of so-andso! Would it have pleased you if you had obeyed Allah and His Apostle? We have found true what our Lord promised us. Have you too found true what your Lord promised you? "ʿUmar said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! You are speaking to bodies that have no souls!" Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By Him in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, you do not hear, what I say better than they do." (Qatada said, "Allah brought them to life (again) to let them hear him, to reprimand them and slight them and take revenge over them and caused them to feel remorseful and regretful.") (Using translation from Bukhārī 3976)

[Machine] I was sitting with Ubayy ibn Ka'b and Abu Talhah, and we ate meat and bread. Then, I called for ablution. They asked, "Why are you performing ablution?" I said, "Because of the food we ate." They said, "Do you perform ablution for good things?" No one performs ablution better than you do.

[Machine] A man read in the presence of Umar, and he made some changes (in the recitation). Umar said, "I have read it upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he did not make any changes on me." So we gathered in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ . The man recited in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ , and he said to him, "You have done well." Then it seemed that Umar disliked that, so he said to the Prophet ﷺ , "O Messenger of Allah, the entire Qur'an is correct unless a punishment is mentioned as forgiveness or forgiveness is mentioned as punishment." And Abdus-Samad bin Abu Thabit said in another narration from his book.
[Machine] Abu Talhah, we were sitting in the courtyards when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by us and said, "What is wrong with you and sitting in the courtyards of high places? Avoid sitting in the courtyards of high places." We said, "O Messenger of Allah, we are sitting without any harm, engaging in conversation and discussion." He said, "Then give the courtyards their due right." We asked, "What is their due right?" He said, "Lowering the gaze, returning the greetings, and speaking good words."

The Prophet ﷺ said: No (Muslim) man will desert a man who is a Muslim in a place where his respect may be violated and his honour aspersed without Allah deserting him in a place here he wishes his help; and no (Muslim) man who will help a Muslim in a place where his honour may be aspersed and his respect violated without Allah helping him in a place where he wishes his help. Yahya said: 'Ubaid Allah b. 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar and 'Uqbah b. Shaddad transmitted it to me. Abu Dawud said: This yahya b. Sulaim is the son of Zaid, the freed slave of the Prophet ﷺ, and Isma'il b. Bashir is the freed slave of Banu Maghalah. Sometimes the name of 'Utbah b. Shaddad is mentioned instead of 'Uqbah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4884)

He who believes in Allah and in the last day should honour his guest; he who believes in Allah and in the last day should not harm his neighbor; he who believes in Allah and in the last day should speak good or keep silence. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5154)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Hospitality lasts for three days, but it is permissible for one day and one night. It is not allowed for a man to stay with someone until he inconveniences him." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, how does he inconvenience him?" He said, "He stays with him and has nothing to give him to eat."

[Machine] Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said:
"By Allah! He does not believe! By Allah! He does not believe! By Allah! He does not believe!" It was asked, "Who is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "That person whose neighbor is not safe from his mischief." It was asked, "And what is his mischief, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "His evil deeds."

"O Commander! Permit me to tell you of a statement that the Messenger of Allah said the day after the Conquest of Makkah, which my ears heard, my hear understood, and my eyes saw, when he said it. He (the Prophet) praised Allah, then he said: 'Makkah has been made sacred by Allah, not by the people. It is not permissible for any man who believes in Allah and the Last Day to shed blood in it, or to cut its trees. If any one seeks permission to fight in it because the Messenger of Allah fought in it, say to him: Allah allowed his Messenger (to fight therein) but He did not allow you. Rather permission was given to me (to fight therein) for a short period one day, and now its sanctity has been restored as it as before. Let those who are present convey (this mews) to those who are absent.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2876)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and Yazid also said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever is afflicted with a wound or madness, then madness is pains. So, it is a choice between one of three things: either to seek retaliation, or to take compensation, or to forgive. If he wants a fourth thing, then take hold of his hands. If he does anything of that after that and then kills, then he will have the Fire, wherein he will abide forever.'"

[Machine] He heard Abu Shuraikh Al-Khaza'i then Al-Ka'bi, who was one of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , saying: The Messenger of Allah gave us permission on the day of the conquest of Banu Bakr to fight them until we took revenge from them, and he was in Mecca. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the lifting of the sword, and a group of us on the next day met a man from Huza'il in the sacred precincts who was leading the Messenger of Allah in prayer to greet him. They killed him and hastened to reach the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking his protection. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed about that, he became extremely angry. By Allah, I have never seen him more angry than he was then. We hurried to Abu Bakr, Umar and Ali to intercede with them and we feared that we may have been destroyed. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished praying, he stood up and praised Allah for what He had rightly ordained. Then he said: "As for what follows, Allah has sanctified Mecca and people have not sanctified it. He made it lawful (to travel through its territories) for me for an hour of the day yesterday, and today it is forbidden, as Allah made it forbidden the first time. And indeed, the most inviolable of things in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection are three: a man who was killed in it (Mecca), a man who killed someone in it without due right, and a man who sought blood revenge in Ignorance. By Allah, I shall persecute the man whom you killed." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said this while threatening them with his hand.

[Machine] He heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then he went out to his people's gathering, and he sat among them. So I approached him and sat with him, as he spoke to his people as Amr ibn Sa'id had reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and what Amr ibn Sa'id said to him was: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he opened Mecca. So, on the day after the conquest, Khuzayah killed a man from Huza'il, and he was a polytheist. So, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us as a preacher and said, "O people, verily, Allah ﷻ has made Mecca sacred on the day He created the heavens and the earth. It remains sacred from Allah's sanctity until the Day of Resurrection. It is not permissible for anyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day to shed blood therein or to support a tree therewith that was not allowed for anyone before me or will be allowed for anyone after me. It is not allowed for me except during the state of falling into divine wrath. Verily, it has now returned to its state of sanctity as it was yesterday. So, let those who witnessed it inform those who were absent. For anyone who says to you that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fought with Mecca, say, "Allah ﷻ has allowed it for His Messenger and has not allowed it for you, O people of Huza'il. Put your hands off killing, for it has become common that if you kill a person, you will have to bear the burden of his guilt. So, whoever is killed after my statement, his relatives will have the choice to either take the blood money or retaliate. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ approached the man whom Huza'il had killed and said so, then Amr ibn Sa'id said to Abu Shuraih, "You may go, O Sheik, as we know better than you its sanctity, that it does not prevent shedding blood, disobeying, or paying compensation. So, I said, "I was present and you were absent, and I conveyed it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to convey to our absentees what we witnessed, and I have conveyed it to you, and it is your matter now."

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Makkah, the people of Makkah would bring their children to him, and he would wipe his hand over their heads and supplicate for them. So, one day I was brought to him, and I had been adorned with fine clothes and beautified with ornaments. However, he did not wipe his hand over my head, and nothing prevented him from doing so except that my mother had adorned me with fine clothes and ornaments.

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ and he sacrificed a sheep for us. He said, "Do not think that I did not sacrifice it for you. However, we have some sheep. When they reach one hundred, we sacrifice a sheep."
[Machine] Regarding the Prophet, ﷺ , when you perform ablution, pronounce the intention for rinsing the nose, unless you are fasting.
[Machine] "I and my friend set off until we reached the Messenger of Allah, but we did not find him. Aisha then fed us dates and gave us a dish of porridge. When the Prophet came, he was wiping off his sweat. He asked us, 'Have you been fed?' We replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' While we were in this state, a shepherd passed by with a sheep under his arm. The Prophet asked, 'Has it given birth?' The shepherd replied, 'Yes.' The Prophet said, 'Slaughter a sheep for us.' Then he approached us and said, 'Do not assume that we have not slaughtered the sheep for you. We have a hundred sheep, and we do not desire any increase. When the shepherd gives birth to a male sheep, he is commanded to slaughter it.' The shepherd asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, tell me about wudu.' The Prophet said, 'When you perform ablution, wash your limbs thoroughly and rub in between your fingers. When you perform istinja, cleanse yourself thoroughly unless you are fasting.' The shepherd said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I have a wife who talks excessively and behaves improperly.' The Prophet said, 'Divorce her.' The shepherd said, 'O Messenger of Allah, she has companionship and children.' The Prophet said, 'Keep her and instruct her to do good. If there is goodness in her, she will do it. And do not strike your wife like a slave or servant.'"

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Cursing a believer is like killing him, and whoever kills himself with something in this world will be punished with it in the hereafter. It is not permissible for a Muslim to make a vow about something he does not possess. And whoever accuses a believer of disbelief, it is as if he has killed him. And whoever takes an oath to a religion other than Islam falsely, he is as he said.'"
Verily the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who took an oath on a religion other than Islam as a liar would become so as he said, and he who slaughtered himself with a thing would be slaughtered with that on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 110d)
That he took oath of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ under the tree. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If anyone swears by religion other than Islam falsely, he is like what has has said. If anyone kills himself with something, he will be punished with it on the Day of Resurrection. A vow over which a man has no control is not binding on him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3257)
By Allah, I am certain that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade that. (Using translation from Aḥmad 101)
