[Machine] I was sitting with Ubayy ibn Ka'b and Abu Talhah, and we ate meat and bread. Then, I called for ablution. They asked, "Why are you performing ablution?" I said, "Because of the food we ate." They said, "Do you perform ablution for good things?" No one performs ablution better than you do.

كُنْتُ أَنَا وَأُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ وَأَبُو طَلْحَةَ جُلُوسًا فَأَكَلْنَا لَحْمًا وَخُبْزًا ثُمَّ دَعَوْتُ بِوَضُوءٍ فَقَالَا لِمَ تَتَوَضَّأُ؟ فَقُلْتُ لِهَذَا الطَّعَامِ الَّذِي أَكَلْنَا فَقَالَا أَتَتَوَضَّأُ مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ؟ لَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ

"عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَنَا وَأُبَىُّ وَأَبُو طَلْحَةَ جُلُوسًا فَأَكَلْنَا خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا، ثُمَّ دَعَوْتُ بِوضُوءٍ فَقَالاَ لي: لِمَ تَتَوَضَّأ؟ فَقُلْتُ: لِهَذا الطَّعَام الَّذِي أَكَلْنَا، فَقَالاَ أَتَتَوَضَّأُ مِنَ الطَّيَّبَاتِ وَلَمْ يَتَوضَّأ مِنْهُ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ".
