The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿAllah is One and loves that which is odd numbered, so pray Witr. O people of the Qur’an.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوَتْرَ فَأَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿAllah is One and loves that which is odd numbered, so pray Witr. O people of the Qur’an.”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوَتْرَ فَأَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ
The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah is single (witr) and loves what is single, so observe the witr, you who follow the Qur'an.
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْتِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O people of the Qur'an, pray witr, for Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, is Witr (One) and loves Al-Witr (the odd numbered).'"
أَوْتَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْتِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ
“Witr is not definite (obligatory) nor is it like your prescribed prayers. But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Witr, then he said: ‘O people of the Qur’an! Perform Witr, for Allah is Witr* and He loves the odd (numbered).’” * Meaning 'one' which is the first of the odd numbers; He is unique, and there is nothing like Him, similar or equal.
عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ إِنَّ الْوِتْرَ لَيْسَ بِحَتْمٍ وَلاَ كَصَلاَتِكُمُ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ وَلَكِنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَوْتَرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْتِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ
“Allah is Witr and He loves the odd (numbered), so perform Witr, O people of the Qur’an.” A Bedouin said: ‘What is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying?’ He said: ‘That is not for you or your companions.’”
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ فَأَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ فَقَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مَا يَقُولُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْسَ لَكَ وَلاَ لأَصْحَابِكَ
[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Verily, Allah is One and loves odd numbers."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ»
Why do you put on the lower garment in this way? He replied: It is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4096)
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُهُ»
“I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating cucumbers with dates.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3325)
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يَأْكُلُ الْقِثَّاءَ بِالرُّطَبِ»
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿO people of the Qurʿan, pray Witr, for Allah, may He Be glorified and exalted, is One and loves that which is odd numbered.ʿ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ أَوْتِرُوا فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوَتْرَ

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating chicken.
رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُ دَجَاجًا
This tradition has also been transmitted by Sa'd (b. Abi Waqqas) from the Prophet ﷺ in a similar manner through a different chain of narrators. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1470)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
his father said: I heard Messenger of Allah saying: "There are no two Witr in one night." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 470)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ
‘Ali ؓ said: Verily, Witr is not a must like your prescribed prayers, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Witr, then he said: “Pray Witr, O people of the Qurʿan. Pray Witr, for Allah is One and loves that which is odd numbered.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 1262)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَهْلُ الْجَوْرِ وَأَعْوَانُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ»
It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah that his father said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'The nobility of the people of this world, that which they (always) go to, is wealth.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3225)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَحْسَابُ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا الْمَالُ»

"We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)
وَقَالَ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ»
أَن رَسولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ وِتْرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ جَمِيلٌ يُحِبُّ الْجَمَالَ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Perform the night prayer, O People of the Quran." An Arab man asked, "What does the Prophet ﷺ say?" He replied, "You are not one of its people."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ» فَقَالَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ مَا يَقُولُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ؟ قَالَ «لَسْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Recite the Night Prayer, O people of the Quran."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ»

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْتَرِفَ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ» اللهَ وُتِرٌ يُحِبُّ الْوِتْرَ فَأَوْتِرُوا يَا أَهْلَ الْقُرْآنِ

"استْاكوا، وتنظَّفُوا، وأوْتِرُوا؛ فإنَّ اللهَ وتِرُ يُحبُّ الوتْرَ".
"إِنَّ الله وتْرٌ، يُحِبُّ الوتْرَ ".
The Prophet ﷺ said: Allah is single (witr) and loves what is single, so observe the witr, you who follow the Qur'an. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1416)
