[Machine] Muawiyah, don't say that. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had spat in it and whoever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spat in something it is not impure. Al-Hasan bin Ali said, "As for you O 'Amr, indeed two men disputed about you, so look which of them is your father. And as for you O Abu Al-Awar, indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed Ra'ilan, Thakwan, and 'Amr bin Sufyan."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me some words that I say during the witr. (The version of Ibn Jawwas has: I say them in the supplication of the witr.) They were: "O Allah, guide me among those Thou hast guided, grant me security among those Thou hast granted security, take me into Thy charge among those Thou hast taken into Thy charge, bless me in what Thou hast given, guard me from the evil of what Thou hast decreed, for Thou dost decree, and nothing is decreed for Thee. He whom Thou befriendest is not humbled. Blessed and Exalted art Thou, our Lord." (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1425)

[Machine] I said to Al-Hasan ibn Ali, "What was your opinion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? And what did you understand from him?" He said, "I understood from him to leave what causes doubts in you for that which does not cause doubts in you, for evil is a doubt while good is tranquility. And I understood from him the five daily prayers and certain words that I should recite after completing them." He said, "Say: 'O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, pardon me among those whom You have pardoned, turn to me in friendship among those whom You have turned to, bless me in what You have given me, and protect me from the evil that You have decreed. Surely, You decree and no one can decree over You. Indeed, the one who is supported by You is never humiliated. Blessed are You, our Lord, and exalted are You.'" Buraid ibn Abi Maryam said, "Then I entered upon Muhammad ibn Ali in the marketplace and informed him of this narration from Abu Al-Huraira from Al-Hasan ibn Ali. He said, 'These are true words that he taught us to recite during the Qunut'."

He replied, "I remember from the Messenger of Allah that I took a date from the charity dates and put it in my mouth. The Messenger of Allah took it out of my mouth and placed it back in the dates. It was said, 'O Messenger of Allah, why do you bother with this date for this little boy?' He said, 'We, the family of Muhammad, are not permitted to accept charity.'"

The Prophet ﷺ said to him, 'Leave what doubts you and go towards what does not. For evil is doubt and goodness is tranquility.' And I understood from him that I passed by him one day and there was a container of dates for charity in front of him. I took a date and threw it in my mouth, then he grabbed my wrist and put his hand in my mouth and pulled it out with his saliva on it, then he threw it in the container. His companions said to him, 'If you had left it, the boy would have eaten it?' He said, 'Charity is not permissible for the family of Muhammad.' He also taught me words to say in my final supplication, 'O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, and take me under Your care among those whom You have taken under Your care, and bestow Your blessings upon me in what You have given me, and protect me from the evil that You have decreed, for surely You decree and none can decree over You.
[Machine] O people, a man has passed away among you tonight who was not preceded by the earlier generations and will not be followed by the later ones. He was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , whom Allah sent as a Messenger. Jibril enveloped him from his right and Mika'il from his left. He did not bend until they opened for him what he left behind, except for seven hundred dirhams which he intended to buy a servant with. This happened on the night when 'Isa ibn Maryam ascended, the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan.

[Machine] Indeed, we are a people who do not marry our women until we order them to do so. I went to her and mentioned Yazid to her, and she said, "By Allah, that will not happen until your companion walks among us as Pharaoh walked among the Children of Israel, killing their children and sparing their women." So I returned to Al-Hassan and said, "Did you send me to a section of the Falq named Amir al-Mu'minin Pharaoh?" He said, "O Mu'awiya, beware of dislike. Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'No one dislikes us or envies us except for Zaid on the Day of Judgment with a whip of fire.'"

[Machine] Indeed, 'Ali insulted Mu'awiyah with a vile insult, a man known as Mu'awiyah ibn Hudayj. Do you know him? He said, "Yes." He said, "When you see him, bring him to me." He saw him near the house of 'Amr ibn Hurayth and showed him to him. He said, "Are you Mu'awiyah ibn Hudayj?" He remained silent and did not answer him three times, then he said, "You are the one who insulted 'Ali ibn Abi Talib in the presence of Ibn Akilat al-Akbad. Know that if you approach the Pond (in the afterlife) and I don't see you approach it, you will find him standing there with his arms exposed, repelling the disbelievers and hypocrites from the Pond of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, just as a strange camel is driven away from its owner. This is the saying of the truthful, the trustworthy, my father Al-Qasim ﷺ".
