هُبَيْرَةُ بْنُ يَرِيمَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ؓ

tabarani:2725 – al-Ḥasan b. Ghulayb al-Miṣrī > Saʿīd b. ʿUfayr > Bakkār b. Zakariyyā > al-Ajlaḥ > Abū Isḥāq al-Hamdānī > Hubayrah b. Yarīm > ʿAlī

[Machine] O people, a man has passed away among you tonight who was not preceded by the earlier generations and will not be followed by the later ones. He was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , whom Allah sent as a Messenger. Jibril enveloped him from his right and Mika'il from his left. He did not bend until they opened for him what he left behind, except for seven hundred dirhams which he intended to buy a servant with. This happened on the night when 'Isa ibn Maryam ascended, the twenty-seventh night of Ramadan.  

الطبراني:٢٧٢٥ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ غُلَيْبٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ ثنا بَكَّارُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ الْأَجْلَحِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا ؓ لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ قَامَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ

أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ قَدْ قُبِضَ فِيكُمُ اللَّيْلَةَ رَجُلٌ لَمْ يَسْبِقْهُ الْأَوَّلُونَ وَلَا يُدْرِكُهُ الْآخِرُونَ قَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَبْعَثُهُ الْمَبْعَثَ فَيَكْتَنِفُهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَمِيكَائِيلُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ لَا يَنْثَنِي حَتَّى يُفْتَحَ لَهُمْ مَا تَرَكَ إِلَّا سَبْعَ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَ بِهَا خَادِمًا وَقَدْ قُبِضَ فِي اللَّيْلَةِ الَّتِي عَرَجَ فِيهَا عِيسَى بْنُ مَرْيَمَ لَيْلَةِ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

He does not leave behind any white or yellow except for seven hundred silver coins that were left from his charity. He wanted to buy a servant with them."  

ابن حبّان:٦٩٣٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ قَامَ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ

He does not leave behind any yellow or white, except for seven hundred dirhams. He intends to buy a servant with them."  

الطبراني:٢٧١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ بَقِيَّةَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمُزَنِيُّ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ

"عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بنِ مَرْيَمَ قال: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ قام خَطيبًا فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ: يَأَيُّهَا الناس لَقَدْ فَارَقَكُمْ أَمْسُ رَجُلٌ مَا سَبَقَهُ الأَوَّلُونَ، وَلا يُدْرِكُه الآخِرُونَ، وَلَقَدْ كَانَ رسول الله ﷺ يبعثه المبْعَثَ فَيُعطِيهِ الرَّاية فَمَا يَرْجِعُ حَتَّى يَفْتحَ الله عَلَيْهِ، جِبريلُ عَنْ يمينِهِ، وميكائِيلُ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ، وما تَرَكَ بَيْضَاءَ ولا صَفْرَاءَ إلا سَبْعَمِائةِ دِرْهَمٍ فَضَلَتْ مِنْ عَطَائِهِ أَرادَ أَن يَشْتَرِى بِهَا خَادِمًا".
