أَبُو الْحَوْرَاءِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ

tabarani:2714 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥaḍramī > Ṭāhir b. Abū Aḥmad al-Zubayrī from my father > al-ʿAlāʾ b. Ṣāliḥ > Burayd b. Abū Maryam > Abū al-Ḥawrāʾ

[Machine] About the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ? He said, "I was walking with him one day and we passed by a pile of dates as a form of charity. I found a date and threw it into my mouth, but then I took it out with my saliva. Some people said, 'What's wrong with you, O Messenger of Allah? Couldn't you have left it?' He said, 'Charity is not permissible for us, the family of Muhammad.'"  

الطبراني:٢٧١٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا طَاهِرُ بْنُ أَبِي أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثنا أَبِي ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَوْرَاءِ قَالَ كُنَّا عِنْدَ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ فَسُئِلَ مَا عَقَلْتَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ فَقَالَ كُنْتُ أَمْشِي مَعَهُ يَوْمًا فَمَرَّ عَلَى جَرِينٍ مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ فَوَجَدْتُ تَمْرَةً فَأَلْقَيْتُهَا فِي فِيَّ فَأَخْرَجَهَا بِلُعَابِي فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ مَا عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَوْ تَرَكْتَهَا؟ قَالَ «إِنَّا آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا تَحِلُّ لَنَا الصَّدَقَةُ»

[Machine] We were with Hasan ibn Ali and he was asked, "What is the most interesting thing you learned from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" He replied, "I was walking with him when we passed by a pile of charity dates. I took a date and threw it in my mouth, and he took it with his saliva. Some people asked, 'Why didn't you leave it?' He said, 'Indeed, it is not permissible for us, the family of Muhammad, to take charity.' And I learned from him the five daily prayers."  

أحمد:١٧٢٥ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ هُوَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاءُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا بُرَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَوْرَاءِ قَالَ
