مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ؓ

tabarani:2748Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm al-Dabarī > ʿAbd al-Razzāq > Maʿmar > Ayyūb > Ibn Sīrīn > al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī

[Machine] If you were to look between Jabars and Jabalq, you would not find a man greater than me and my brother who is a prophet. And I think you should gather around Muawiyah. And I don't know, maybe it's a test for you and a temporary enjoyment. Said Ma'mar, Jabars and Jabalq are the east and the west.  

الطبراني:٢٧٤٨حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ

لَوْ نَظَرْتُمْ مَا بَيْنَ جَابَرْسَ إِلَى جَابَلْقَ مَا وَجَدْتُمْ رَجُلًا جَدُّهُ نَبِيٌّ غَيْرِي وَأَخِي وَإِنِّي أَرَى أَنْ تَجْتَمِعُوا عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ {وَإِنْ أَدْرِي لَعَلَّهُ فِتْنَةٌ لَكُمْ وَمَتَاعٌ إِلَى حِينٍ} قَالَ مَعْمَرٌ جَابَرْسُ وَجَابَلْقُ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ
