I prayed along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he used to say in his rukūʿ: ‘I glorify the perfection of Allah, the Supreme’ and his sajdah: ‘I glorify the perfection of Allah, the Most High’. He never came to an āyah of mercy except that he paused at it and asked ˹for Allah’s Mercy˺, nor he came to an āyah of punishment except that he sought the refuge ˹in Allah˺ from it.

whenever the Prophet (saas) went to his bed, he would put his hand - meaning his right hand - beneath his cheek then say: "Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yawm tab'athu - [or: tajma'u] - 'ibadaka (O Allah, save me from Your punishment on the Day when You resurrect - or gather - Your slaves)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3877)

Hudhaifah said, "I wish that your companion would not enforce this strictness. I have seen myself following the Prophet ﷺ until we reached a place called Subata, and he stood up to urinate just as any of you would. So I moved away from him, and he said, 'Come closer.'" So I approached him until I was by his side.

The devil considers the food when Allah’s name is not mentioned over it, and he brought his nomad Arab that it might be lawful by means of him, so I seized his hand: then he brought this girl that it might be lawful by means of her, so I seized her hand. By Him in Whose hand my soul is, His hand is in my hand along with their hands. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3766)

The ending of Sūrat al-Baqarah was revealed from underneath the Throne of Allah
This Ummah has been given preference over all other nations with three ˹things˺: (1) For them, this earth has been made purifying and a masjid (place of prayer), (2) its rows in prayer are like of the rows of angels, and (3) the Prophet ﷺ used to say, "I have been given these last two verses of Surat al-Baqarah from the treasures beneath the Throne. No prophet has been given the likes of them before me."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There was a man from among those before you who used to commit sins. When death approached him, he said to his family: "If I die, burn me, then grind me into powder and scatter me in the sea on a stormy day." When he died, his family did as he had instructed. Then Allah gathered him in His hand and asked him: "What made you do what you did?" He replied: "Out of fear of You." Allah said: "Indeed, I have forgiven you."
“Among the words that people learned from the earlier Prophets are: ‘If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4183)
"The Messenger of Allah {s.a.w} narrated two narrations to us, one of which I have seen {happening} and I am waiting for the other. He narrated that (in the beginning) trust was preserved in the roots of the hearts of men, then the Qur'an was revealed, and they learned it from the Qur'an, and then they learned it from the Sunnah. Then he narrated to us about the disappearance of trust, saying, 'A man will go to sleep whereupon trust will be taken away from his heart, and only its trace will remain, like speckles. He then will sleep, whereupon the remainder of the trust will also be taken away and trace will remain like a blister, like an ember that you roll on your feet, it causes pain and you see it swollen while it contains nothing.' Then he took a pebble and rolled it over his leg. He said: 'So there will come a day when people will deal in business with each other, but there will hardly be any trustworthy persons among them, such that it would be said that in such and such a tribe, there is such and such person, who is honest, and until a man will be admired for his strength, intelligence, and good manners, although indeed he will not have faith equal to a mustard seed in his heart."' He (Hudhaifah) added: "There came upon me a time when I did not mind dealing with anyone of you, for if he was a Muslim, his religion would prevent him from cheating me, and if was a Jew or a Christian, his Muslim ruler would prevent him from cheating me; but today I cannot deal except with so-and-so and so-and-so." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2179)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ narrated to us with two narrations, and he mentioned the narration.
[Machine] Hudhayfah entered the mosque and found a man praying near the windows of Kindah. He noticed that the man did not complete his bowing or prostration. After the man finished, Hudhayfah asked him, "How long have you been performing this prayer?" The man replied, "For forty years." Hudhayfah then said, "You have not prayed for forty years. If you were to die, your prayer would not be valid unless you prayed in the manner that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ prayed." Then Hudhayfah approached him and taught him the correct way to perform the prayer and said, "Indeed, a person may cheat in their prayer, and yet they still complete the bowing and prostration."
We were in the company of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said. Count for me those who profess al-Islam. We said: Messenger of Allah, do you entertain any fear concerning us and we are (at this time) between six hundred and seven hundred (in strength). He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: You don't perceive; you may be put to some trial, He (the narrator) said: We actually suffered trial so much so that some of our men were constrained to offer their prayers in concealment. (Using translation from Muslim 149)
"The Messenger of Allah came out to us, and there were nine of us. He said; 'After me there will be rulers, whoever believes in their lies and helps them in their wrongdoing is not of me, and I am not of him, and he will not come to me at the Cistern. Whoever does not believe their lies and does not help them in their wrongdoing, he is of me, and I am of hi, and he will come to me at the Cistern."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4207)
[Machine] I prayed with the Prophet ﷺ one night, and he began reciting Surah Al-Baqarah. He recited until he reached the verse of one hundred, at which point I thought he would bow. However, he continued reciting until he reached the verse of two hundred, and again I thought he would bow. But he continued reciting until he completed the Surah. I then thought he would bow, but he said: "Then he began reciting Surah An-Nisa. He recited it, then he bowed. In his bowing, he said: "Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great." His bowing was the same length as his standing. Then he prostrated and his prostration was as long as his bowing. In his prostration, he said: "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High." Whenever he passed by a verse of mercy, he would ask for mercy, and whenever he passed by a verse of punishment, he sought refuge (with Allah), and whenever he passed by a verse in which Allah was glorified, he would glorify (Allah).
[Machine] Indeed, you speak words that we used to count as hypocrisy during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
[Machine] About Hudhayfah, who was sitting in the middle of the gathering, he said, "May the curse be upon the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ or the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ ."

[Machine] Hudhaifah has knowledge of secrets that no one else knows, which he shared with the Prophet Muhammad during the Battle of Badr. They were protected from harm in a way that others were not, and there was no harm that could come to them except what they were already preoccupied with.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , performed the fear prayer in a land of Qard from the land of Bani Sulaym. The people lined up behind him in two rows, with one row equal to the enemy and another row behind him. He prayed one unit with the row behind him, then these people went back to the position of those people, and those people came forward to the position of these people, and he prayed another unit with them.

[Machine] Which of you prayed the prayer of fear with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said, "Hudhayfah." Sufyan then described a story similar to the narration of Ibn Abbas and Zaid bin Thabit.

when the prophet (May peace be upon him) lay down on his bed (at night), he would say: O Allah! In Thy name I die and live. When he awoke, he said: praise be to Allah who has given us life after causing us to die and to whom we shall be resurrected. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5049)
[Machine] The master and Al-'Aqib came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, send your trustworthy person with us." Waki' added: "So the Prophet ﷺ said, 'I will send with you a trustworthy person, a true trustworthy person.' So the people were honored, and Abu 'Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah was sent."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ met Gabriel while he was at Al-Mirā' Stones, and he said, "Indeed, your Ummah (nation) recites the Quran in seven dialects. So whoever recites it in one dialect, let him recite it as he has learned it and not change it." My father said, and Ibn Mahdi also said, "Indeed, among your Ummah are those who are weak, so whoever recites it in one dialect should not transfer to another dialect out of desire."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and he did not leave anything that will happen until the Day of Judgment except that he mentioned it. Whoever heard him preserved it, and whoever forgot it, forgot it. Hudhaifah said: "Verily, I see things that I have forgotten, but when I am reminded of them, I recognize them just as a man recognizes the face of a man he has been separated from and then sees him again." Waki' said: "One time, I saw him (the Messenger of Allah) and recognized him."

"We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'I do not know how long I will be with you, so stick to the two after me,' and he signaled towards Abu Bakr and 'Umar." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3663)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray for a man, and his prayer would extend to his son, and his son's son.

[Machine] If a man speaks with a word that was used during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he becomes a hypocrite by it. And indeed, I hear it from one of you today in the gathering ten times.
The Messenger of Allah said: 'I know what the Dajjal will have with him. He will have two flowing rivers, one that appears to the eye to be clear water, and one that appears to the eye to be flaming fire. If anyone sees that, let him go to the river which he thinks is fire and close his eyes, then lower his head and drink from it, for it is cool water. The Dajjal has one blind eye, with a layer of thick skin over it, and between his eyes is written "disbeliever," which every believer will read, whether he is literate or illiterate.' (Using translation from Muslim 2934b)

[Machine] He came from Umar and said, "When we sat with him yesterday, he asked the companions of Muhammad ﷺ , 'Which of you has heard a statement from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about trials?' They said, 'We have heard it.' He said, 'Perhaps you mean the trial of a man with his family and wealth?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'I am not asking about that. As for that, prayer, fasting, and charity expiate it. But which of you has heard a statement from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the trials that toss about like waves of the sea?' The people remained silent, and I thought that he was addressing me. So I said, 'I have.' He said, 'You are a father to Allah.' He said, 'The trials are presented to the hearts - just like a reed mat. Any heart that rejects them will have a white spot placed in it, and any heart that agrees to them will have a black spot placed in it. Until the heart becomes like two white hearts, neither trial will harm it as long as the heavens and the earth remain. And the latter will be black and murky, like a boiling cauldron. And it will be filled with hopes, not knowing the good or rejecting the evil, except for what it has been made to drink from its whims.'"

Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed me of what is going to happen before the approach of the Last Hour. And there is nothing that I did not ask him in this connection except this that I did not ask him as to what would turn the people of Medina out from Medina. (Using translation from Muslim 2891d)

[Machine] I visited Al-Yashkuri in a village of Bani Layth. He asked, "Who are you people?" We replied, "We are from Bani Layth." He then asked us, and we asked him, "We have come to ask you about the narration of Hudhayfah." He said, "I went with Abu Musa on a caravan, and the animals stopped in Kufa. So I sought permission for me and my companion, and we were granted permission. We arrived in Kufa early in the morning. I told my companion, 'I will enter the mosque, and when the market opens, I will meet you there.' I entered the mosque and found a group sitting as if beheaded, listening to a man speaking. I climbed over them, and a man approached me from the side. I asked, 'Who is this?' He said, 'You are Basri.' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'If you were from Kufa, you wouldn't have asked about this. This is Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman.' So I approached him and listened as he said, 'People used to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about good, while I used to ask him about evil. I knew that I would never beat him in asking him about good, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is there any evil after this good?" He said, "Yes, there will be turmoil." I asked again, "Is there any good after this evil?" He said, "Yes, but it will be tainted." I asked again, "Is there any evil after this good?" He said, "There will be misguided leaders who will invite to the gates of Hell, whoever responds to their call, while you will be on a path of righteousness. I asked again, "Is there any evil after this good?" He said, "Blindness will come on a nation, deafness as well. They will call to the gates of Hell, and you will be in a position where death is better than following any of them."

[Machine] About the night of the Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ ascension, he said, "So I set off, or we set off, until we reached the Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) but did not enter it." He said, "I said, 'Rather, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered it that night and prayed in it.' He asked, 'What is your name, O bald one? For I know your face but I do not know your name.' I said, 'I am Zirr bin Hubaysh.' He asked, 'How do you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in it that night?' I said, 'The Quran informs me of that.' He said, 'Whoever speaks with the Quran, let him recite.' So I recited, 'Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa.' (Quran 17:1) He said, 'I did not find it.' He asked, 'O bald one, do you find prayers in it?' I said, 'No.' He said, 'By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not pray in it that night. If he had prayed in it, it would have been written for you to pray in it, just as the prayer is written for you in al-Bayt al-Atiq (the Ancient House, i.e., the Kaaba). By Allah, the lightning has not ceased to bolt until the doors of the sky were opened for them, and they saw Paradise and Hell, and the promise of the Hereafter, all of it. Then they returned by the same way they had come.' He said, 'Then he laughed, until I saw his molar teeth.' He said, 'And they say that it was tied to al-Buraq. But rather, the All-Knower of the Unseen and the Witness has made it subject for him.' I asked, 'O Abu Abdullah, what is al-Buraq?' He said, 'Al-Buraq is a white animal, long with a stride as far as the eye can see.'"
