The Prophet ﷺ appointed a man of Azd called Ibn al-Lutbiyayah (to collect sadaqah). The narrator Ibn al-Sarh said: (He appointed) Ibn al-Utbiyyah to collect the sadaqah. When he returned he said: This is for you and this was given to me as present. So the Prophet ﷺ stood on the pulpit, and after praising and extolling Allah he said: What is the matter with a collector of sadaqah. We send him (to collect sadaqah), and when he return he says: This is for you and this is a present which was given to me. Why did he not sit in his father's or mother's house and see whether it would be given to him or not ? Whoever takes any of it will inevitably bring it on the Day of Resurrection, be it a camel which rumbles, an ox which bellows, or sheep which-bleats. Then raising his arms so that we could see where the hair grow under his armpits, he said: O Allah, have I given full information ? O Allah, have I given full information ?
he (Muhammad) said: "I heard him saying - while he was among ten of the Companions of the Prophet, one of whom was Abu Qatadah bin Ribi - 'I am the most knowledgeable among you of the Salat of the Messenger of Allah.' They said: 'You did not precede us in his companionship, nor were you in his company more than us.' He said: 'Even still." They said: 'Go ahead.' So he said: 'When Messenger of Allah stood for Salat he would stand with his back straight and raise his hands until they were at the level of his shoulder. Then he would say: (Allahu Akbar) "Allah is Most Great" and bow. Then he would straighten (his back) so that he would not lower his head, nor raise it, and he placed his hands on his knees. Then he said: (Sami Allahu liman hamidah) "Allah listens to those who praise Him." And he raised his hands and stood up straight until all of his bones completely returned to their places. Then he went down to the ground prostrating, then he said: (Allahu Akbar) "Allah is Most Great." Then he held his upper arms away from his midsection, and opened his toes on his feet (facing the Qiblah), then he bend his left foot and sat on it then straightened up until all of his bones completely returned to their placed, then he went down to prostrate. Then he said: (Allahu Akbar) "Allah is Most Great," then he bent his foot and sat and straightened up until all of his bones completely returned to their places. Then he got up. Then in the second Rak'ah he did the same as that, such that when he stood from the two prostrations, he sad the Takbir and raised his hands until they were at the level of his shoulders as he did when he opened the Salat. Then he did like that until it was the Rak'ah in which his Salat was to end, when he moved his left foot over and sat on his side (in the Mutawarrik postion). Then he said the Taslim.'" Some people asked: Messenger of Allah, how should we invoke blessings on you? He said: Say,” O Allah, bless Muhammad, his wives and his off springs, as Thou didst bless Abraham’s family, and grant favours to Muhammad’s family, his wives and off springs, as Thou didst grant favours to Abraham’s family. Thou art indeed praiseworthy and glorious. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 979)

The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no ghoul. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3913)
[Machine] On the authority of Abu Humaid or Humaida Al-Shakki from Zuhair, who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you proposes to a woman, it is not forbidden for him to look at her, as he only looks at her for the purpose of proposing, even if she does not know."
[Machine] "And indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw and said, 'When one of you proposes to a woman, there is no harm in him looking at her, as he only looks at her for marriage, even if she is unaware."
[Machine] We went with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of Tabuk until we reached Wadi al-Qura. There, we saw a woman in her garden. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to his companions, "Pluck some fruits for her." So the people plucked from her garden, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ plucked ten bunches of dates. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the woman, "Count what comes out of you until I come back to you, if Allah wills." So he left until he reached Tabuk. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Tonight a strong wind will blow upon you, so no man among you should stand in it. If any of you has a camel, let him tie its reins." Abu Humayd said, "We tied them." When it was night, a strong wind blew upon us and a man stood in it, so it threw him into the narrow valleys. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came with the Malik of Aylla and presented to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ a white female mule. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ clothed it with a sheet and awarded it to him. Then he set out and we went with him until we reached Wadi al-Qura. He asked the woman, "How many gardens do you have?" She replied, "Ten bunches." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ plucked from her garden. He said, "I am in a hurry, so whoever among you wants to hurry, let him do so." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ left and we followed him until we approached Madinah. He said, "This is Tabah." When he saw Uhud, he said, "This is Uhud. It loves us and we love it. Shall I not inform you of the best houses among the Ansar?" We said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "The best houses among the Ansar are Banu al-Najjar, then the house of Banu Abd al-Ashhal, then the house of Banu Sa'idah, and then every house of the Ansar is good."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It is not permissible for a person to take the wealth of his brother without his right, and this is because Allah has prohibited the wealth of a Muslim from being taken by another Muslim." 'Ubayd bin Abi Qurrah reported that Sulayman informed us, who said that Suhail informed us, who said that 'Abdul-Rahman bin Sa'eed narrated from Abu Humaid As-Sa'idi that the Prophet ﷺ said: "It is not permissible for a man to take the stick of his brother without his good pleasure, and this is due to the severity of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has prohibited of the wealth of a Muslim from being taken by another Muslim."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "When you hear a narration about me, pay attention to how your hearts respond to it. If it softens your hearts and brings you closer to it, then I am closest to you in this matter. But if it hardens your hearts and makes you reject it, then I am farthest from you in this matter." There was doubt regarding these two statements from Ubayd ibn Abi Qurrah, who reported it from Abu Humayd or Abu Usaid. Abu Sa'id was also unsure about one of them.

"I heard Abu Humaid and Abu Usaid say: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When any one of you enters the Masjid, let him say: 'Allahumma aftahli abwaba rahmatik (O Allah, open to me the gates of your mercy). And when he leaves let him say: Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik (O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty).'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 729)

I came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a cup of milk from Naqi' which had no cover over it, whereupon he said: Why did you not cover it? - even if you had covered it only with a stick. Abu Humaid said that he had been ordered that waterskins be tied during the night, and the doors be closed during the night. (Using translation from Muslim 2010a)
