عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, and so and so said?

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ فُلَانٌ؟

عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فِي حَدِيثِهِ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بَالَ وَتَوَضَّأَ وَنَضَحَ فَرْجَهُ بِالْمَاءِ

وَقَالَ كَذَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating chicken.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْكُلُ دَجَاجًا

[AI] I have never seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon while standing.

مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ إِلَّا قَائِمًا

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَنْصَرِفُ عَنْ شِقَّيْهِ

They (the people) said: This (action of yours) might be valid before the revelation of Surat al-Ma’idah. He replied: I embraced Islam after the revelation of Surat al-Ma’idah. "We prayed with Abdullah bin Mas'ud in his house. He stood between us and we placed our hands on our knees, but he took them off and made us interlace our fingers, and said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do that.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1030)

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَفْعَلُهُ

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْقِدُ التَّسْبِيحَ بِيَدِهِ»

I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fasting during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2439)

نَاوِلْنِي نَعْلِي فَيَنْتَعِلُ وَيُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ وَيَقُولُ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ»

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution and wipe over his sandals."
