[Machine] His name is Zaid.
مَنِ اسْمُهُ زَيْدٌ
Anyone who performs ablution and performs his ablution well, and then he offers two rak’ahs of prayers in a way that he does not forget ( anything in it), will be forgiven all his past sins. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 905)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ لَا يَسْهُوَ فِيهِمَا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»
[Machine] We traveled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Al-Hudaybiyah. The Prophet ﷺ asked us in the morning, "Do you know what your Lord said?" We replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He repeated it twice, then said, "Today, some of my servants have become believers while others have become disbelievers. As for those who say, 'We were rained by such and such a star,' they are the disbelievers in me and believers in the stars. As for those who say, 'This is a mercy from Allah and this is the provision of Allah,' they are the believers in me and disbelievers in the stars."
مُطِرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ لَمَّا أَصْبَحْنَا «أَتَدْرُونَ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمْ؟» قُلْنَا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَصْبَحَ مِنْ عِبَادِي الْيَوْمَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَكَافِرٌ فَأَمَّا الَّذِي يَقُولُ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَذَاكَ كَافِرٌ بِي مُؤْمِنٌ بِالْكَوْكَبِ وَأَمَّا الَّذِي يَقُولُ هَذِهِ رَحْمَةٌ وَهَذَا رِزْقُ اللهِ فَذَاكَ مُؤْمِنٌ بِي كَافِرٌ بِالْكَوْكَبِ
"It rained during the time of the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'Have you nt heard what your Lord said this night? He said: I have never sent down any blessing upon My slaves but some of them become disbelievers thereby, saying: 'We have been given rain by such and such a star.' As for the one who believes in Me and praises Me for giving rain, that is the one who believes in Me and disbelieves in the stars. But the one who says: 'We have been given rain by such and such a star' he has disbelieved in Me and believed in the stars." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1525)
مُطِرْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ قَالَ هَلْ تَدْرُونَ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمُ اللَّيْلَةَ؟ قَالَ مَا أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَى عِبَادِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ إِلَّا أَصْبَحَ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ بِهَا كَافِرُونَ يَقُولُونَ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَأَمَّا مَنْ آمَنَ بِي وَحَمِدَنِي عَلَى سُقْيَايَ فَذَاكَ الَّذِي آمَنَ بِي وَكَفَرَ بِالْكَوْكَبِ وَأَمَّا مَنْ قَالَ مُطِرْنَا بِنَوْءِ كَذَا وَكَذَا فَذَاكَ الَّذِي آمَنَ بِالْكَوْكَبِ وَكَفَرَ بِي
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed sheep among his companions, and he gave me a young goat. I asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, should I sacrifice it?" As it is a young goat from the goats. He said, "Yes." So, I sacrificed it.
قَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى أَصْحَابِهِ غَنَمًا فَأَعْطَانِي عَتُودًا جَذَعًا فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أُضَحِّي بِهَا؟ فَإِنَّهَا جَذَعَةٌ مِنَ الْمَعْزِ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ» فَضَحَّيْتُ بِهَا
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed sacrificial animals among his companions, and he gave me a camel. I found it to be skinny, so I returned to him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, it is skinny.' He said, 'Sacrifice it.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَسَّمَ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا فَأَعْطَانِي عَتُودًا فَوَجَدْتُهُ جَذَعًا فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ هُوَ جَذَعٌ فَقَالَ «ضَحِّ بِهِ»
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed sacrificial animals among his Companions. He gave me a kid (of less than a year). I took it to him and said: This is a kid. He said: Sacrifice it. so I sacrificed it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2798)
قَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ غَنَمًا لِلضَّحَايَا فَأَعْطَانِي عَتُودًا جَذَعًا فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّهُ جَذَعٌ فَقَالَ «ضَحِّ بِهِ» فَضَحَّيْتُ بِهِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed sacrificial animals to his companions, and he gave me a young goat's trunk. I brought it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "It is just a trunk." He said, "Sacrifice it."
قَسَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا فَأَعْطَانِي عَتُودًا جَذَعًا مِنَ الْمَعْزِ فَجِئْتُ بِهِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ إِنَّهُ جَذَعٌ قَالَ «ضَحِّ بِهِ»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever touches his private parts should perform ablution."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»
"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ then let him perform ablution." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 481)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»
The Prophet ﷺ said: ʿWere it not that it would be too difficult for the ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak at the time of every prayer.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 607)
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ»
Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Were I not afraid that it would be hard on my followers, I would order them to use the siwak (as obligatory, for cleaning the teeth). (Using translation from Bukhārī 7240)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَوْلَا «لَوْلَا أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَى أُمَّتِي لَأَمَرْتُهُمْ بِالسِّوَاكِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ» فَكَانَ زَيْدٌ يَضَعُ السِّوَاكَ مِنْهُ مَوْضِعَ الْقَلَمِ مِنْ أُذُنِ الْكَاتِبِ كُلَّمَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ اسْتَاكَ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever equips a warrior has fought, and whoever looks after his family in his absence has fought.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3181)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَقَدْ غَزَا وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ فَقَدْ غَزَا»

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Whoever prepares a warrior or takes care of his family has indeed participated in Jihad."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا»
[Machine] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever equips a warrior, he will have the same reward as him, and whoever stays behind to take care of his family, he will have the same reward as him." Ibn Shihab then told me this information by Busru bin Sa'id.
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي أَهْلِهِ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ» قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ ثُمَّ أَخْبَرَنِيهَا بُسْرُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ : "Whoever equips a fighter in the cause of Allah will have the same reward as the fighter. And whoever looks after the family of a fighter in the cause of Allah and spends from his own wealth, he will have the same reward as the fighter."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ وَمَنْ خَلَفَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فِي أَهْلِهِ بِخَيْرٍ وَأَنْفَقَ فَلَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ»
[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about a man passing in front of a praying person. He said, "It is better for him to stay in his place for forty [times] than to pass in front of a praying person." He said, "I do not know if he meant forty years, or forty months, or forty days."
سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي؟ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ «لِأَنْ يَقُومَ فِي مَقَامِهِ أَرْبَعِينَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي» قَالَ «فَلَا أَدْرِي أَقَالَ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ شَهْرًا أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا»
[Machine] Did the Prophet ﷺ hear in the marab between the hands of the worshiper? So I asked him, and he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'That one of you standing for forty good is better for him than passing in front of the worshiper.' He does not know whether it is forty years or forty months or forty days."
سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي الْمَارِّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلِّي؟ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لِأَنْ يَقُومَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَرْبَعِينَ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنَّ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْمُصَلَّى» لَا يَدْرِي أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ شَهْرًا أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا
"Make a public announcement about it for one year, if it is claimed then give it to him. Otherwise remember its sack, string, and its count. Then use it, and if its owner comes, give it to him." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1373)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ؟ قَالَ «عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا وَإِلَّا فَاعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا وَعَدَدَهَا ثُمَّ كُلْهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَرَدَّهَا إِلَيْهِ»
He said: “Announce it for a year, then if someone describes it with its features, return it to him. If no one claims it, then remember the features of its leather bag and strap, and consume it (use it). Then if its owner comes along, give it to him.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2507)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ؟ فَقَالَ «عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنِ اعْتُرِفَتْ فَأَدِّهَا وَإِلَّا فَاعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَعَدَدَهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَأَدِّهَا»
Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from visiting the mosques of Allah, but they may go out (to the mosque) having no perfumed themselves. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 565)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَمْنَعُوا إِمَاءَ اللهِ الْمَسَاجِدَ وَلْيَخْرُجْنَ تَفِلَاتٍ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَمْنَعُوا إِمَاءَ اللهِ الْمَسَاجِدَ وَلْيَخْرُجْنَ تَفِلَاتٍ»
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever is offered a good deed by his brother without asking for it or supervising it, let him accept it and not reject it, for it is only a provision that Allah has sent to him."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ بَلَغَهُ مَعْرُوفٌ مِنْ أَخِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسْأَلَةٍ وَلَا إِشْرَافٍ فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ وَلَا يَرُدَّهُ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ»

I shall watch the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at night. I slept at the threshold of his door or of his tent. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two light rak'ahs, and then prayed two long, long, long rak'ahs. He then prayed two rak'ahs that were not so long as the two rak'ahs before them ; he then prayed two rak'ahs that were less in duration, than the rak'ahs before them; again he prayed two rak'ahs that were less in length then the preceding rak'ahs; he then prayed two rak'ahs that were less in length than the previous rak'ahs. This made altogether thirteen rak'ahs. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1366)
ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَأَرْمُقَنَّ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ اللَّيْلَةَ فَتَوَسَّدْتُ عَتَبَتَهُ أَوْ فُسْطَاطَهُ «فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ طَوِيلَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ أَوْتَرَ فَذَلِكَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ»
Quraish, Ansar, Muzaina, Juhaina and Ghifar, they are my friends and there is no friend of theirs besides Allah and His Messenger. (Using translation from Muslim 2520a)
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «قُرَيْشٌ وَالْأَنْصَارُ وَأَسْلَمُ وَغِفَارُ وَمُزَيْنَةُ وَمَنْ كَانَ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ وأَشْجَعَ مَوَالِي لَيْسَ لَهُمْ دُونَ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ مَوْلَى»

[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about the finding. He said: "Identify it for a year, then identify its owner and vessel (container) or he said its container. If its owner comes, give it back to him, otherwise spend it or enjoy it."
جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ فَقَالَ عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً ثُمَّ اعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا أَوْ قَالَ وِعَاءَهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَادْفَعْهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا أَوِ اسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا
[Machine] An Arab came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about a found object. The Prophet ﷺ told him to announce it for one year, and if its owner comes, then return it to him. If not, then use it for oneself or enjoy it.
جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ فَقَالَ عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً ثُمَّ اعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا أَوْ قَالَ وِعَاءَهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَادْفَعْهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا أَوِ اسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا
[Machine] An Arab man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about "al-luqata" (lost property). The Prophet told him to announce it for a year, and if the owner came, to give it back to him. Otherwise, the man could keep it for himself or make use of it.
جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ فَقَالَ عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً ثُمَّ اعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا أَوْ قَالَ وِعَاءَهَا فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَادْفَعْهَا إِلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا أَوِ اسْتَمْتِعْ بِهَا
[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik, from Rabiah ibn Abi Abdur Rahman, from Yazid, a client of Al-Munba'ath, from Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani, who said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about al-Luqatah (lost and found items). He said, "Know its description and its container, then announce it for a year. If its owner comes, give it to him, otherwise it is yours."
ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ مَوْلَى الْمُنْبَعِثِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ؟ فَقَالَ «اعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا ثُمَّ عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا وَإِلَّا فَشَأْنُكَ بِهَا»
[Machine] Al-Qa'ani narrated on the authority of Malik, who narrated from Rabia ibn Abi Abdul Rahman, who narrated from Yazid, the freed slave of Munnabith, who narrated from Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani. He said, "A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about al-Luqatah (lost and found items). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Verify its description and mark, and then recognize it for a year. If its owner comes, return it to him. If not, then it is yours.'"

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik who narrated from Rabiah ibn Abi Abdur-Rahman who narrated from Yazid, the servant of al-Munba'ith, who narrated from Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani who said: A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him about Luqatah (lost property). He said: "Identify its container and its string, then describe it for a year. If its owner comes, then give it to him, otherwise, it is yours."

[Machine] A man asked the Prophet about the lost camel. He said, "What is your relation to it? It has its saqāʾ (water container) and its shoes; it eats from the trees and it quenches its thirst until its owner comes to get it."
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْإِبِلِ؟ فَقَالَ «مَا لَكَ وَلَهَا؟ مَعَهَا سِقَاؤُهَا وَحِذَاؤُهَا تَأْكُلُ الشَّجَرَ وَتَرِدُ الْمَاءَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهَا بَاغِيهَا»
[Machine] A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about the camel's stray. He said, "What do you have to do with it? It has its owner, and its driver, as it eats the trees and returns the water until its owner comes to it."
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْإِبِلِ؟ فَقَالَ «مَا لَكَ وَلَهَا؟ مَعَهَا سِقَاؤُهَا وَحِذَاؤُهَا تَأْكُلُ الشَّجَرَ وَتَرِدُ الْمَاءَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهَا بَاغِيهَا»
[Machine] A man asked the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , about the lost camel. He said, "What is your concern with it? It has its water container and its shoes. It eats from the trees and satisfies its thirst until its owner finds it."
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْإِبِلِ؟ فَقَالَ «مَا لَكَ وَلَهَا؟ مَعَهَا سِقَاؤُهَا وَحِذَاؤُهَا تَأْكُلُ الشَّجَرَ وَتَرِدُ الْمَاءَ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهَا بَاغِيهَا»
[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about al-Luqatah (lost and found items)." He replied: "Recognize its container and its laces, then publicize it for a year. If its owner comes, return it to him. If not, then make use of it."
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ؟ فَقَالَ «اعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا ثُمَّ عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنْ أَتَى بَاغِيهَا فَرُدَّهَا عَلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا»
[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Inform me about picking up lost items (Luqatah)." He said, "Identify its fringe and its tying, then publicize it for a year. If its rightful owner comes, give it back to him. Otherwise, spend it."
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ؟ فَقَالَ «اعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا ثُمَّ عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنْ أَتَى بَاغِيهَا فَرُدَّهَا عَلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا»
[Machine] A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Tell me about the lost object." He said, "Know its buckle and string, then describe it for a year. If its owner comes, return it to him, otherwise, spend it."
أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَخْبِرْنِي عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ؟ فَقَالَ «اعْرِفْ عِفَاصَهَا وَوِكَاءَهَا ثُمَّ عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنْ أَتَى بَاغِيهَا فَرُدَّهَا عَلَيْهِ وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا»
[Machine] "He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the lost sheep. He replied, 'It belongs to you, your brother, or the wolf.'"
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْغَنَمِ؟ فَقَالَ «هِيَ لَكَ أَوْ لِأَخِيكَ أَوْ لِلذِّئْبِ»
[Machine] He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the lost sheep. He replied, "It belongs to you, or your brother, or the wolf."
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ضَالَّةِ الْغَنَمِ؟ فَقَالَ «هِيَ لَكَ أَوْ لِأَخِيكَ أَوْ لِلذِّئْبِ»
[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while I was with him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I found a lost item." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Inform about it for a year, and if no one claims it, then spend it (for yourself)."
أَتَى رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اللُّقَطَةُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ لَهَا طَالِبٌ فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا»
[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I was with him. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, what should I do with this extra money?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Identify it for a year, and if no one comes seeking it, then spend it."
أَتَى رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اللُّقَطَةُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ لَهَا طَالِبٌ فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا»
[Machine] "A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while I was with him, and he said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I found a lost object.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Inform about it for a year, and if no one claims it, then you may spend it.'"
أَتَى رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ اللُّقَطَةُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً فَإِنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ لَهَا طَالِبٌ فَاسْتَنْفِقْهَا»
A man asked Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the Luqata. He said, "Make public announcement of it for one year, then remember the description of its container and the string it is tied with, utilize the money, and if its owner comes back after that, give it to him." The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! What about a lost sheep?" Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Take it, for it is for you, for your brother, or for the wolf." The man asked, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! What about a lost camel?" Messenger of Allah ﷺ got angry and his cheeks or face became red, and said, "You have no concern with it as it has its feet, and its watercontainer, till its owner finds it."
