[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the evening prayers for nine nights. Abu Dawood said, "Eight nights until one-third of the night." Abu Bakr said, "O Messenger of Allah, if you had hastened, it would have been more convenient for us to perform the night prayer." He then hastened after that. Abdus Samad narrated to us that in his narration it was nine nights, and Affan narrated it as seven nights.

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'None of you should say, "I have observed Ramadan in its entirety." For Allah knows best and I fear that His Ummah (community) may boast about themselves.' Abd al-Wahhab said, 'Does Allah need His Ummah to boast about themselves? Or does he rather fear that they will fall into deep sleep or negligence?'"

There would soon be turmoil. Behold! there would be turmoil in which the one who would be seated would be better than one who would stand and the one who would stand would be better than one who would run. Behold! when the turmoil comes or it appears, the one who has camel should stick to his camel and he who has sheep or goat should stick to his sheep and goat and he who has land should stick to the land. A person said: 'Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion about one who has neither camel nor sheep nor land? Thereupon, he said: He should take hold of his sword and beat its edge with the help of stone and then try to find a way of escape. O Allah, I have conveyed (Thy Message) ; O Allah, I have conveyed (Thy Message) ; O Allah, I have conveyed (Thy Message). A person said: Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion if I am drawn to a rank in spite of myself, or in one of the groups and made to march and a man strikes with his sword or there comes an arrow and kills me? Thereupon he said: He will bear the punishment of his sin and that of yours and he would be one amongst the denizens of Hell. (Using translation from Muslim 2887a)

"O Messenger of Allah! Which of the people is the best?" He said: "He whose life is long and his deeds are good." He said: "Then which of the people is the worst?" He said: "He whose life is long and his deeds are bad." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2330)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was asked, "Who are the best people?" So he mentioned a similar example.
[Machine] Sa'id Abu 'Uthman narrated to us in Murabba'at al-Ahnaf, and Muslim ibn Abi Bakrah narrated from his father, who heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "When two Muslims fight each other, the killer and the killed are both in the fire."
Some persons from amongst my associates would turn to my Cistern; when I would see them and they would be presented to me, they would be detained in the way while coming to me. I would say: My Lord, they are my companions, they are my companions, and it would be said to me: You don't know what innovations they made after you. (Using translation from Muslim 2304a)
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever honors the authority of Allah in this worldly life, Allah will honor him on the Day of Judgment. And whoever humiliates the authority of Allah in this worldly life, Allah will humiliate him on the Day of Judgment."
[Machine] Abu Bakrah narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited us from trading silver with silver and gold with gold, except equally. And he commanded us to trade silver with gold and gold with silver as we wish. So Thabit ibn Abdullah asked him, "Hand in hand?" He replied, "Yes, that is how I heard it."
[Machine] He (the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) said, "He performed the prayer of fear with us." He performed two units of prayer with some of his companions, then he finished and they stayed behind. Others came and they were in their place, so he performed two units of prayer with them and then finished. So the Prophet ﷺ performed four units of prayer and the others performed two units of prayer.
The Prophet ﷺ delivered to us a sermon on the Day of Nahr. He said, "Do you know what is the day today?" We said, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He remained silent till we thought that he might give that day another name. He said, "Isn't it the Day of Nahr?" We said, "It is." He further asked, "Which month is this?" We said, "Allah and His Apostle know better." He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another name. He then said, "Isn't it the month of Dhul-Hijja?" We replied: "Yes! It is." He further asked, "What town is this?" We replied, "Allah and His Apostle know it better." He remained silent till we thought that he might give it another name. He then said, "Isn't it the forbidden (Sacred) town (of Mecca)?" We said, "Yes. It is." He said, "No doubt, your blood and your properties are sacred to one another like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this town of yours, till the day you meet your Lord. No doubt! Haven't I conveyed Allah's message to you? They said, "Yes." He said, "O Allah! Be witness. So it is incumbent upon those who are present to convey it (this information) to those who are absent because the informed one might comprehend it (what I have said) better than the present audience, who will convey it to him. Beware! Do not renegade (as) disbelievers after me by striking the necks (cutting the throats) of one another." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1741)

[Machine] One day, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was giving a sermon, Al-Hasan ibn Ali came and ascended the pulpit. The Prophet ﷺ embraced him and touched his head, and said, "This is my son. Perhaps Allah will bring about reconciliation between two great factions of Muslims through him."

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The father of the Dajjal and hid mother, will abide for thirty years without bearing a son. Then a boy shall be born to them, having one eye in which there is some defect, providing little use. His eyes sleep but his heart does not sleep.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ described his parents for us: 'His father is tall, with little fat, with a nose as if it were a beak. His mother is a bulky woman with long breasts.'" So Abu Bakrah said: "I heard about a child being born to some Jews in Al-Madinah. So Az-Zubair bin Al-'Awwam and I went until we entered upon his parents. They appeared as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had described them. We said: 'Do you have any children?' They said: 'We remained for thirty years without any children being born to us, then we bore a boy, having one eye in which there is some defect, providing little use. His eyes sleep but his heart does not sleep.'" He said: "So we were leaving them, when he appeared, glittering in the sunlight in a velvet garment, murmuring something. [Machine] Narrated to us something he heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be pleased with good dreams and ask about them. One day he said, 'Which of you had a dream?' A man said, 'I had a dream that I saw as if a balance was lowered from the sky and I and Abu Bakr were weighed, and you were heavier than Abu Bakr. Then Abu Bakr and Umar were weighed, and Abu Bakr was heavier than Umar. Then Umar and Uthman were weighed, and Umar was heavier than Uthman. Then the balance was lifted and the dream ended.' Hamad also mentioned this dream, and it troubled him. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The caliphate (succession) of prophethood and then Allah gives the kingdom to whom He wills.' He said, 'It upset our stomachs, and we were expelled.' Ziyad said, 'Abu Bakr, did you not find any other hadith to narrate except this?' He replied, 'No, by Allah, I will not narrate anything except this until I part from you.' So we left. Then he called us again and said, 'O Abu Bakr, narrate to us something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' So I narrated it to him and he patted me on the chest and we were expelled. Ziyad said, 'Abu Bakr, did you not find any other hadith to narrate except this?' He replied, 'No, by Allah, I will not narrate anything except this until I part from you.' So we left and spent some days. Then he called us again and said, 'O Abu Bakr, narrate to us something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' So I narrated it to him and he patted me on the chest. Muawiyah said, 'Are you speaking about the kingdom? We have already accepted the kingdom.'"
