ahmad:20509 – Abū Bakarah

[AI] I came and the Prophet ﷺ was in a state of prostration, and my breath was exhausted, so I prostrated without being in line with the row. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished the prayer, he said, "Who among you prostrated without being in line with the row?" I said, "I did." He said, "May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not repeat it."

أحمد:٢٠٥٠٩ – وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكَرَةَ

جِئْتُ وَنَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ رَاكِعٌ قَدْ حَفَزَنِي النَّفَسُ فَرَكَعْتُ دُونَ الصَّفِّ فَلَمَّا قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ أَيُّكُمْ رَكَعَ دُونَ الصَّفِّ؟ قُلْتُ أَنَا قَالَ زَادَكَ اللهُ حِرْصًا وَلَا تَعُدْ

I reached the Prophet ﷺ in the mosque while he was bowing in prayer and I too bowed before joining the row mentioned it to the Prophet ﷺ and he said to me, "May Allah increase your love for the good. But do not repeat it again (bowing in that way).

Abu Bakrah said that he came to the mosque when the prophet ﷺ was bowing. So I bowed outside the row (before joining it). The prophet ﷺ said; May Allah increase your eagerness! But do not do it again.

أبو داود:٦٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ أَنَّ يَزِيدَ بْنَ زُرَيْعٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ زِيَادٍ الأَعْلَمِ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرَةَ حَدَّثَ

Abu Bakrah came when the apostle of Allah ﷺ was bowing. So he bowed without the row (before joining it). He then went to the row. When the prophet ﷺ finished his prayer, he said: which of your bowed without the row, and then went to the row? Abu Bakrah said; it was i. the prophet ﷺ said: May Allah increase your eagerness ! but do not do it again.

أبو داود:٦٨٤ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا زِيَادٌ الأَعْلَمُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ

[AI] He (the Prophet) came while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in ruku' (bowing in prayer), so he (the Prophet) performed ruku' outside of the row (of worshippers), and then he walked towards the row (of worshippers). The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Who is this that performed ruku' and then walked towards the row?" Abu Bakrah replied, "It was me." The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah increase your eagerness, but do not do it again."

[AI] Abu Bakr entered the mosque and found the Prophet ﷺ in the state of Rukoo' (bowing in prayer). Abu Bakr also performed Rukoo' and then proceeded to join the prayer row. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "May Allah increase your eagerness, but don't repeat this."

ابن حبّان:٢١٩٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْأَحْمَرِ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِالْبَصْرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ النَّرْسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ عَنبَسَةَ الْأَعْوَرِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ
