[Machine] A woman's husband died and she complained about her eye. So they went to the Prophet ﷺ and asked for permission to use kohl, mentioning that they were concerned about her eye. The Prophet ﷺ said, "One of you stayed in her house for a period of time, during which she threw away a speck of dust. Shouldn't she observe a period of four months and ten [days]?"  

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا فَاشْتَكَتْ عَيْنَهَا فَأَتَوُا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَاسْتَأْذَنُوهُ فِي الْكُحْلِ وَذَكَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ يَخْشَوْنَ عَلَى عَيْنِهَا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «قَدْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ تَمْكُثُ فِي بَيْتِهَا حَوْلًا فَإِذَا كَانَ حَوْلًا رَمَتْ بِبَعْرَةٍ أَفَلَا أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا؟»  

he heard Zainab the daughter of Umm Salamah narrating that she heard Umm Salamah and Umm Habibah mention that a woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said that her daughter's husband had died, and she was suffering from an eye disease, and she wanted to apply kohl to her eyes (as a remedy). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "One of you would throw a she-camel's dropping when a year had passed (since the death of her husband. Rather it is four months and ten (days)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2084)  

أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَتْ أَنَّ ابْنَةً لَهَا تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا فَاشْتَكَتْ عَيْنَيْهَا وَهِيَ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكْحُلَهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «قَدْ كَانَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ تَرْمِي بِالْبَعْرَةِ عِنْدَ رَأْسِ الْحَوْلِ وَإِنَّمَا هِيَ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا»  

[Machine] The daughter of Nuaim ibn Abdullah Al-'Adawi came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "My daughter's husband passed away while she was under the period of 'Iddah (waiting period after divorce or death of husband), and she was complaining about her eyes. Can she perform 'Iddah?". He replied, "No." Then she remained silent for a while and asked again, "She is complaining about her eyes more than we thought. Can she perform 'Iddah?" He replied, "No." Then he said, "A Muslim woman is not allowed to observe 'Iddah for more than three days, except for a woman who is married for four months and ten days."  

أَنَّ بِنْتَ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَدَوِيِّ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ ابْنَتِي تُوُفِّيَ عَنْهَا زَوْجُهَا وَكَانَتْ تَحْتَ الْمُغِيرَةِ الْمَخْزُومِيِّ وَهِيَ تُحِدُّ وَهِيَ تَشْتَكِي عَيْنَيْهَا أَفَتَكْتَحِلُ؟ قَالَ «لَا» ثُمَّ صَمَتَتْ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ قَالَتْ إِنَّهَا تَشْتَكِي عَيْنَيْهَا فَوْقَ مَا نَظُنُّ أَفَتَكْتَحِلُ؟ قَالَ «لَا» ثُمَّ قَالَ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِمُسْلِمَةٍ أَنْ تُحِدَّ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجٍ أَرْبَعَةَ أَشْهُرٍ وَعَشْرًا»  

[Machine] "My bed was beside the prayer area of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."  

«كَانَ فِرَاشِي حِيَالَ مُصَلَّى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»  

[Machine] "My bedding was around the place of prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."  

«كَانَ فِرَاشِي حِيَالَ مُصَلَّى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»  

Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray on Khumra. (Using translation from Bukhārī 381)  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْخُمْرَةِ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray on a mat.  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يُصَلِّي عَلَى الْحَصِيرِ»  

[Machine] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ , "He suffered an injury on his shoulder, then he performed the prayer without ablution."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ «تَعَرَّضَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»  

"Some meat from the shoulder of a sheep was brought to the Messenger of Allah and he ate some of it, then he performed prayer without touching water (for ablution)." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 491)  

«أُتِيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِكَتِفِ شَاةٍ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us to say: "O Allah, You are the First, there is nothing before You, and You are the Last, there is nothing after You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of every animal whose snout is in Your hand, and I seek refuge in You from sin, laziness, the punishment of the Hellfire, the punishment of the grave, the trials of wealth, the trials of poverty, and I seek refuge in You from wrong action and indebtedness. O Allah, purify my heart from sin as a white garment is purified from dirt, and separate me from my sins as You have separated the East from the West."  

أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَدْعُوَ وَنَقُولَ «اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْأَوَّلُ فَلَا شَيْءَ قَبْلَكَ وَأَنْتَ الْآخِرُ فَلَا شَيْءَ بَعْدَكَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ نَاصِيَتُهَا بِيَدِكَ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَعَذَابِ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الْغِنَى وَفِتْنَةِ الْفَقْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْمَأْثَمِ وَالْمَغْرَمِ اللهُمَّ نَقِّ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْمَأْثَمِ كَمَا يُنَقَّى الثَّوْبُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ وَبَاعِدْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ خَطِيئَتِي كَمَا بَاعَدْتَ بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ»  

[Machine] About his mother Umm Kulthum, the daughter of Umm Salamah, Umm Salamah reported: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me, he said, "O Umm Salamah, I have presented musk and a garment to Negus, but I do not see him alive, and I do not see my gift except returned to me." Umm Salamah said: As the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, he gave his women folk ornaments and gave me the rest of the musk and the garment.  

عَنْ أُمِّهِ أُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ بِنْتُ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا دَخَلَ بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ إِنِّي قَدْ أَهْدَيْتُ لِلنَّجَاشِيِّ مِسْكًا وَحُلَّةً وَلَا أَرَاهُ إِلَّا قَدْ مَاتَ وَلَا أَرَى هَدِيَّتِي إِلَّا سَتُرَدُّ إِلَيَّ» قَالَتْ وَكَانَ كَمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَعْطَاهُ نِسَاءَهُ أُوقِيَّةً وَأَعْطَانِي سَائِرَ الْمِسْكِ وَالْحُلَّةَ  

[Machine] She said, when Abu Salamah passed away and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was present, I stood up wanting to cry for him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "What are you doing?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am crying for Abu Salamah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Don't do that, for the dead person feels the cries of their family members at their death."  

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لَمَّا مَاتَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عِنْدَهُ قُمْتُ أُرِيدُ الْبُكَاءَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَاعِلَةٌ مَاذَا؟» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَبْكِي عَلَى أَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَفْعَلِي فَإِنَّ لِأَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ عِنْدَ مَوْتِ مَيِّتِهِمْ مَا دَعَوْا بِهِ»  

[Machine] She said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I cry over Abu Salamah?" He said, "No, do not do so, for the deceased person's family is affected by their mourning."  

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَبْكِي عَلَى أَبِي سَلَمَةَ؟ فَقَالَ «لَا تَفْعَلِي فَإِنَّ لِأَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ عِنْدَ مَيِّتِهِمْ مَا دَعَوْا بِهِ»  

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, 'What is she doing?' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, Abu Salama has passed away and she is weeping for him.' He said, 'Do not do that, for the dead person is punished because of the lamentation of his family.'"  

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «فَاعِلَةٌ مَاذَا؟» قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَبْكِي عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ «لَا تَفْعَلِي فَإِنَّ لِأَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ عِنْدَ مَيِّتِهِمْ مَا دَعَوْا بِهِ»  

[Machine] "Her grandmother, Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , handed her a container of henna. She said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wash with it.' Talhah said, 'It was about a sa or less.'"  

أَنَّ جَدَّتَهَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ دَفَعَتْ إِلَيْهَا مِخْضَبًا مِنْ صُفْرٍ قَالَتْ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْتَسِلُ فِيهِ» قَالَ طَلْحَةُ وَكَانَ نَحْوًا مِنْ صَاعٍ أَوْ أَقَلَّ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to sit for a little while after saying the salaam.  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا سَلَّمَ مَكَثَ قَلِيلًا»  

"The Prophet ﷺ after finishing the prayer with Taslim used to stay at his place for a while." Ibn Shihab said, "I think (and Allah knows better), that he used to wait for the departure of the women who had prayed." Ibn Shihab wrote that he had heard it from Hind bint Al-Harith Al-Firasiya from Um Salama, the wife of the Prophet (Hind was from the companions of Um Salama) who said, "When the Prophet ﷺ finished the prayer with Taslim, the women would depart and enter their houses before Allah's Apostle departed." (Using translation from Bukhārī 849)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ «إِذَا سَلَّمَ مَكَثَ فِي مَكَانِهِ يَسِيرًا»  

[Machine] The Prophet looked at the sky one night and said, "Glory be to Allah, what trials have been sent down tonight? Or what treasures have been opened? Wake up the dwellers of the stones, for many a clothed person in this world will be naked on the Day of Resurrection."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَظَرَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَقَالَ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ اللَّيْلَةَ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ؟ أَوْ مَاذَا فُتِحَ مِنَ الْخَزَائِنِ؟ أَيْقَظْنَ صَوَاحِبَ الْحُجَرِ فَلَرُبَّ كَاسِيَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَارِيَةٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»  

[Machine] Be women who witness the Prophet's ﷺ Fajr prayer, then they depart while covering themselves with their outer garments so that they may be recognized from the people of Al-Ghalas.  

كُنَّ نِسَاءٌ يَشْهَدْنَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ فَيَنْصَرِفْنَ مُتَلَفِّعَاتٍ فِي مُرُوطِهِنَّ مَا يُعْرَفْنَ مِنَ الْغَلَسِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said one night, "Glory be to Allah, what has been revealed from trials? What has been opened from the treasuries? Wake up those who are sleeping in the chambers, for many a clothed person in this world will be naked on the Day of Resurrection."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مَاذَا أُنْزِلَ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ؟ مَا فُتِحَ مِنَ الْخَزَائِنِ؟ أَيْقَظْنَ صَوَاحِبَاتِ الْحُجَرِ فَرُبُّ كَاسِيَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَارِيَةٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up one night saying, "There is no god but Allah. What has been opened tonight from the treasuries? There is no god but Allah. What trials have been sent down tonight? Who will wake the companions of the room? O Lord! A person who is well-dressed in this world, but naked in the hereafter."  

اسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مَا فُتِحَ اللَّيْلَةَ مِنَ الْخَزَائِنِ؟ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مَا أُنْزِلَ اللَّيْلَةَ مِنَ الْفِتْنَةِ؟ مَنْ يُوقِظُ صَوَاحِبَ الْحُجْرَةِ يَا رُبَّ كَاسِيَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَارِيَةٌ فِي الْآخِرَةِ»  

[Machine] "That they should approach women from behind in their private parts and they disliked that, so they went to Umm Salamah and mentioned that to her. She asked the Prophet ﷺ, who then said: 'Your women are like fields for you, so approach your fields however you like.'"  

أَنْ يَأْتُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ فِي فُرُوجَهُنَّ فَأَنْكَرْنَ ذَلِكَ فَجِئْنَ إِلَى أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرْنَ لَهَا ذَلِكَ فَسَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ {نِسَاؤُكُمْ حَرْثٌ لَكُمْ فَأْتُوا حَرْثَكُمْ أَنَّى شِئْتُمْ} صِمَامًا وَاحِدًا  

[Machine] Narrated by Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not dye the deceased wife's hair, and do not put kohl on her eyes, and do not apply perfume on her, and do not cover her with a dyed garment, and do not wear jewelry."  

عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تُخَضِّبِ الْمُتَوَفَّاةُ زَوْجُهَا وَلَا تَكْتَحِلْ وَلَا تُطَيِّبْ وَلَا تَلْبَسْ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا وَلَا تَلْبَسْ حُلِيًّا»  

[Machine] This verse was revealed: "Verily, Allah intends to keep off from you all impurity, O people of the Household." And I (Ali) was in my house, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called for Hasan and Hussain and made one of them sit on his right thigh and the other on his left thigh, and Fatimah covered them with a cloak. Then, when the verse 'Verily, Allah intends to keep off from you all impurity, O people of the Household' was revealed, I said, "And I am with you, O Messenger of Allah?" He ﷺ said, "And you are with us."  

أُنْزِلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ} وَأَنَا فِي بَيْتِي فَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ فَأَجْلَسَ أَحَدَهُمَا عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى وَالْآخَرَ عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُسْرَى وَأَلْقَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ فَاطِمَةُ كِسَاءً فَلَمَّا أُنْزِلَتْ {إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمُ الرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ} قُلْتُ وَأَنَا مَعَكُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ «وَأَنْتِ مَعَنَا»  

[Machine] I asked the Prophet ﷺ about the height of women and he said, "A cubit." So I said, do their feet then show? He said, "An arm's length."  

سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ذُيُولِ النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ «شِبْرٌ» فَقُلْتُ إِذًا تَخْرُجُ أَقْدَامُهُنَّ؟ قَالَ «فَذِرَاعٌ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever drinks from a vessel made of gold or silver, then surely he is swallowing the fire of Hell."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ شَرِبَ فِي إِنَاءِ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ فَإِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ»  

It is not permissible for a woman believing in Allah and the Hereafter to observe mourning on the dead for more than three (days), except in case of her husband. (Using translation from Muslim 1491)  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا»  

[Machine] "Umm Salamah and Aisha reported that they heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'It is not permissible for a believing woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to mourn for a dead person for more than three days, except for her husband.'"  

عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَعَائِشَةَ أَنَّهُمَا سَمِعَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ أَنْ تُحِدَّ عَلَى مَيِّتٍ فَوْقَ ثَلَاثٍ إِلَّا عَلَى زَوْجِهَا»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever drinks from silver utensils is only filling his stomach with the fire of Hell."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الَّذِي يَشْرَبُ فِي آنِيَةِ الْفِضَّةِ إِنَّمَا يُجَرْجِرُ فِي بَطْنِهِ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ»  

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik, from Muhammad ibn 'Umarah ibn Hazm, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith al-Taymi, from Umm Walad, the daughter of Ibrahim ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Auf, from Umm Salamah, that she asked her (Umm Walad) and she said, "Verily, I am a woman with a long tail (i.e. I have a lot of hair that extends to my backside) and I walk in dirty places." Umm Salamah said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "She should purify it (i.e. her hair) afterwards."  

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْهَا فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُطِيلُ ذَيْلِي وَأَمْشِي فِي الْمَكَانِ الْقَذِرِ فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُطَهِّرُهُ مَا بَعْدَهُ»  

[Machine] We had a sheep that we used to milk, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ lost it, so he asked, "What happened to your sheep?" They replied, "It died." He asked, "What did you do with its skin?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, we threw it away." He said, "Did you not benefit from it? Verily, its skin is permissible just like the skin of a dead animal from wine."  

كَانَتْ لَنَا شَاةٌ نَحْلُبُهَا فَفَقَدَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مَا فَعَلَتْ شَاتُكُمْ؟» قَالُوا مَاتَتْ قَالَ «مَا فَعَلْتُمْ بِإِهَابِهَا؟» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلْقَيْنَاهُ قَالَ «أَفَلَا انْتَفَعْتُمْ بِهِ؟ فَإِنَّ دِبَاغُهَا ذَكَاتُهَا يَحِلُّ كَمَا يَحِلُّ الْخَلُّ مِنَ الْخَمْرِ»  

[Machine] On the authority of Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , she said: There was shouting from the room of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he came out wearing a striped cloak. He asked, "What is happening?" They replied, "They are arguing, O Messenger of Allah." So he resolved the dispute between them as a Prophet of Allah ﷺ . Then he said, "Indeed, I settle disputes among you, and it may be that one of you is more articulate in speech than his brother, so I judge in favor of the one who is more capable. But if I give to someone a right of his brother which does not belong to him, then know that I am only giving him a portion of the Fire."  

عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ كَانَ بِحُجْرَةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ صِيَاحٌ فَخَرَجَ فِي رِدَاءٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا فَقَالَ «مَا هَؤُلَاءِ؟» قَالُوا يَخْتَصِمُونَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فَقَضَى بَيْنَهُمْ نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنِّي لِأَقْضِي بَيْنَكُمْ وَلَعَلَّ أَحَدَكُمْ أَنْ يَكُونَ أَبْلَغَ مِنْ أَخِيهِ فِي الْكَلَامِ فَاقْضِي لَهُ بِمَا أَسْتَبِينُ فَمَنْ قَضَيْتُ لَهُ شَيْئًا لَيْسَ لَهُ فَإِنَّمَا أُعْطِيهِ حَدَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs Hajj from the Masjid al-Haram, his previous sins will be forgiven."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَهَلَّ مِنْ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»  

[Machine] To the messenger of Allah, ﷺ : "O Umm Salama, do not hurt me regarding Aisha, for certainly revelation has not been sent down upon me while any of my wives are present except Aisha. Indeed, revelation has been sent down upon me while she is with me in my blanket."  

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ لَا تُؤْذِينِي فِي عَائِشَةَ فَإِنَّ الْوَحْيَ لَمْ يَنْزِلْ عَلَيَّ وَمَعِيَ أَحَدٌ مِنْ نِسَائِي إِلَّا عَائِشَةَ فَإِنَّ الْوَحْيَ نَزَلَ عَلَيَّ وَهِيَ مَعِي فِي لِحَافِي»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was in the room of Umm Salamah when her son Umar or Abdullah passed by in front of him. The Prophet raised his hand like this and then the person left. Then Zainab passed by and the Prophet raised his hand like this and she left. Then he said, "They are the majority."  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي حُجْرَةِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ فَمَرَّ ابْنُهَا عُمَرُ أَوْ عَبْدُ اللهِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا فَرَجَعَ فَمَرَّتْ زَيْنَبُ فَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ هَكَذَا فَمَضَتْ فَقَالَ «هُنَّ أَغْلَبُ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said regarding 'Ammar, "He will be killed by a rebellious group."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي عَمَّارٍ «تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ»  

[Machine] The prophet said about Ammar, "He will be killed by the rebellious group."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي عَمَّارٍ «تَقْتُلُهُ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ»  

[Machine] I did not forget the day of the trench, a trace on his chest while he was serving them milk and saying, "O Allah, the best is the best of the hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajireen." When the Prophet saw him, he said, "O son of Sumayyah, the rebellious group will kill you."  

مَا نَسِيتُ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ أَثَرًا عِنْدَ صَدْرِهِ وَهُوَ يُعَاطِيهِمُ اللَّبَنَ وَيَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ الْخَيْرُ خَيْرُ الْآخِرَةِ فَاغْفِرْ لِلْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرَةِ» فَلَمَّا رَآهُ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا ابْنَ سُمَيَّةَ تَقْتُلُكَ الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَقْتُلُ عَمَّارًا الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَقْتُلُ عَمَّارًا الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تَقْتُلُ عَمَّارًا الْفِئَةُ الْبَاغِيَةُ»  

It was narrated from Umm Salamah that the Prophet ﷺ used to pray two short Rak’ah after Witr, sitting down. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1195)  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ»  

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ used to "pray two rak'ahs after his Witr while sitting."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «يُصَلِّي بَعْدَ وِتْرِهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ»  

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up from his sleep and was remembering something. So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the matter with you?" He said, "A group from my Ummah will be swallowed up and then sent to a man who will come to Makkah and be prevented from entering. And then they will be swallowed up and killed, one by one, and their sources will be different. Indeed, among them are those who are compelled and forced to come."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اسْتَيْقَظَ مِنْ مَنَامِهِ وَهُوَ يَسْتَرْجِعُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا شَأْنُكَ؟ قَالَ «طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ فَيُبْعَثُونَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ فَيَأْتِي مَكَّةَ فَيَمْنَعُهُ وَيُخْسَفُ بِهِمْ مَصْرَعُهُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَمَصَادِرُهُمْ شَتَّى إِنَّ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ يَكْرَهُ فَيَجِيءُ مُكْرَهًا»  

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ recited "Indeed, We have granted you Al-Kawthar".  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «قَرَأَ إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ»  

"The Messenger of Allah used to perform ablution with a Mudd (of water) and bath with a Sa'." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 267)  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَتَوَضَّأُ بِالْمُدِّ وَيَغْتَسِلُ بِالصَّاعِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to dislike Surah Ad-Damm three times, then he would engage in intimate relations after the three (readings).  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَكْرَهُ سُورَةَ الدَّمِ ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ يُبَاشِرُ بَعْدَ الثَّلَاثِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently say, "O Turner of hearts, keep my heart steadfast on your religion." So, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, why do you frequently make this supplication?" He replied, "O Umm Salamah, surely the heart of the son of Adam is between two fingers of the fingers of the Most Merciful. He turns it in the direction He wills."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُكْثِرُ أَنْ يَقُولَ «يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينِكَ» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا أَكْثَرَ مَا تَدْعُو بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ؟ فَقَالَ «يَا أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ إِنَّ قَلْبَ ابْنِ آدَمَ بَيْنَ أُصْبُعَيْنِ مِنْ أَصَابِعِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ إِذَا شَاءَ أَقَامَهُ وَإِذَا شَاءَ أَزَاغَهُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The urine of a boy should be sprinkled and the urine of a girl should be washed."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُنْضَحُ بَوْلُ الْغُلَامِ وَيُغْسَلُ بَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ»  

[Machine] "I used to rub the semen from the clothes of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .  

«كُنْتُ أَفْرُكُ الْمَنِيَّ مِنْ ثَوْبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ»
