31. Musnad of Women
I heard ʿAisha reciting: "When you invented a lie (and carry it) on your tongues." (24.15) (Using translation from Bukhārī 4752)
فَسَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقْرَأُهَا {إِذْ تَلَقَّوْنَهُ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ}
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Usama about Aisha's matter when she was accused of adultery, "What do you say?" He replied, "Glory be to Allah, it is not appropriate for us to speak about this. Glory be to You, this is a great slander."
[Machine] "That is slanderous, this is a great fabrication." He means by "slender" the great false accusation, like his saying about Mary, "And their saying about Mary is a great slander."
أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ} يُرِيدُ بِالْبُهْتَانِ الِافْتِرَاءَ الْعَظِيمَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ فِي مَرْيَمَ {وَقَوْلُهُمْ عَلَى مَرْيَمَ بُهْتَانًا عَظِيمًا}
