[Machine] "That is slanderous, this is a great fabrication." He means by "slender" the great false accusation, like his saying about Mary, "And their saying about Mary is a great slander."  

الطبراني:١٩٦٠٠ – حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْغَنِيِّ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ {لَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ} «يُرِيدُ أَفَلَا سَمِعْتُمُوهُ» {قُلْتُمْ مَا يَكُونُ لَنَا

أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ} يُرِيدُ بِالْبُهْتَانِ الِافْتِرَاءَ الْعَظِيمَ مِثْلَ قَوْلِهِ فِي مَرْيَمَ {وَقَوْلُهُمْ عَلَى مَرْيَمَ بُهْتَانًا عَظِيمًا}
