[Machine] "To speak with this" means "to accuse without evidence, and our eyes have not witnessed it." "Glory be to You" means "did you not say, 'Glory be to You'?" "This is a great slander" means "did you not say the same as what Sa'd ibn Mu'adh al-Ansari said?" That is, when Sa'd heard the words of someone who spoke about Aisha, he said, "Glory be to You! This is a great slander." And slander is what causes confusion, so one says what was not."  

الطبراني:١٩٦٠١حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي الطَّاهِرِ بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ {لَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ} يَعْنِي «الْقَذْفَ» أَلَا {قُلْتُمْ مَا يَكُونُ لَنَا} يَعْنِي «مَا يَنْبَغِي لَنَا»

{أَنْ نَتَكَلَّمَ بِهَذَا} يَعْنِي «بالْقَذْفَ وَلَمْ تَرَ أَعْيُنُنَا» {سُبْحَانَكَ} يَعْنِي «أَلَا قُلْتُمْ سُبْحَانَكَ» {هَذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ} يَعْنِي أَلَا قُلْتُمْ مِثْلَ مَا قَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ سَعْدًا لَمَّا سَمِعَ قَوْلَ مَنْ قَالَ فِي أَمْرِ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ سُبْحَانَكَ هَذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ وَالْبُهْتَانُ الَّذِي يَبْهَتُ فَيَقُولُ مَا لَمْ يَكُنْ
