31. Musnad of Women (1/26)
[Machine] I saw Umm al-Mu'minin Mai'munah shaving her head after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . So I said to Yazid ibn Asam, "I see her making a sacrifice."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ covered himself and then performed ritual purification from sexual impurity. He began by washing his hands, pouring water from his right hand onto his left hand, and then he washed his private parts and anything that came into contact with them. Then he struck the ground or wall with his hand, and he performed ablution for prayer, except for his feet. Then he poured water over his feet and wiped them.
[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that 'Isa ibn Yunus narrated from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Kurayb, from Ibn Abbas who said: My aunt, Maymuna, informed me that she said: I brought the Prophet ﷺ water for his ritual bath (ghusl) after sexual intercourse. He washed his hands two or three times, then he put his hands in the vessel and poured the water over his private parts. He washed his private parts with his left hand, then he struck the ground with his left hand and rubbed it intensely. Then he performed ablution (wudu) for prayer, and poured water over his head three times, until it reached his palms. After that, he washed the rest of his body, then he moved away from where he was standing and washed his feet. Then, I brought him a cloth and he spread it out.
[Machine] "I prepared for the Prophet ﷺ water for performing ghusl from major impurity. He placed the container in his right hand and washed it twice or thrice, then poured water onto his private parts and washed it with his left hand. After that, he struck the ground with his hand and washed it. Then, he performed gargling, sniffing water into his nose, and washed his face and hands. He then poured water over his head and body. Then, he moved aside and washed his feet. Afterwards, I offered him a towel, but he did not take it and instead started shaking off the water from his body."
The Prophet ﷺ took the bath of Janaba. (sexual relation or wet dream). He first cleaned his private parts with his hand, and then rubbed it (that hand) on the wall (earth) and washed it. Then he performed ablution like that for the prayer, and after the bath he washed his feet. (Using translation from Bukhārī 260)
[Machine] "I placed the water for the Prophet's ﷺ ablution, then he poured it with his right hand onto his left until he purged it. Then he poured it with his right hand onto his private parts and washed them with his left hand, and whatever reached it until it was cleansed. Then he said, 'With his hand, on the wall, and on the ground.' Then he washed it until it was cleansed. Then he rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nostrils, performed ablution for prayer, then poured water over his head and body. Then he moved away from his place and washed his feet."
[Machine] "Maimuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'A prayer in my mosque is equivalent to a thousand prayers in any other mosque except the Masjid al-Haram.'"
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Praying in his mosque is better than a thousand prayers in any other mosque except for the Masjid al-Haram (the Sacred Mosque in Mecca)."
[Machine] I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I performed ablution in a container. Then, it overflowed with water. The Prophet ﷺ came and performed ablution from it. So, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, it overflowed from me." He ﷺ said, "There is no impurity on water."
The Prophet ﷺ and I used to take a bath from a single pot while we were Junub. During the menses, he used to order me to put on an Izar (dress worn below the waist) and used to fondle me. While in Iʿtikaf, he used to bring his head near me and I would wash it while I used to be in my periods (menses). (Using translation from Bukhārī 299)
[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that Muhammad ibn Ali al-Sa'igh al-Makki and Bakr ibn Sahl said, narrated from Sa'id ibn Mansur and Bishr ibn Musa, who said narrated from Al-Humaydi, all of them from Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah, who narrated from 'Amr ibn Dinar, who narrated from Jabir ibn Zaid, who narrated from Abu al-Sha'tha', who narrated from Ibn Abbas, who narrated from Maymunah, who said, "I used to perform ablution with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from the same vessel."

[Machine] He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to "perform ghusl with the water of Maymuna."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Didn't you tan it? Wouldn't you have benefited from it?" They replied, "It is a dead animal." He said, "Indeed, its tanning purifies it."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a sheep that was given to us as charity when it was dead. He said, "What is wrong with the people of this sheep if they take its skin and tan it to benefit from it?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, it is dead." He said, "Only its consumption is prohibited." Sufyan was told, "Ma'mar would not say 'tan it' and would say Al-Zuhri used to disapprove of tanning." Sufyan said, "I have memorized it, and what we wanted from it is this word that others have reported, 'Only its consumption is prohibited.' " And sometimes Sufyan did not mention it (i.e., this narration) without mentioning Maimuna. When he spoke about it, he would say, "Maimuna said..."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ passed by a dead sheep and said, "Indeed, the people of this sheep are unable to benefit from its hide."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a mouse that fell into fat. He said: "Take it and what is around it, throw it away and eat your fat."
[Machine] "A mouse fell into fat and died, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked and he said, 'Throw it away and eat what is around it.' Al-Humaydi said it was said to Sufyan, 'Indeed, Ma'mar narrates it to him from Az-Zuhri from Sa'id from Abu Hurairah.' Sufyan said, 'I did not hear Az-Zuhri narrating it except from 'Ubaidullah from Ibn 'Abbas from Maymunah from the Prophet ﷺ, and I have heard it multiple times.'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a rat that fell into a fat or grease, and he said, "Throw it away along with what is around it and avoid eating it."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a mouse falling into clarified butter. He replied, "If it is solid, throw it away along with what is around it. If it is liquid, do not approach it."
[Machine] Maymuna, the wife of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up one morning feeling unwell, and he remained in that state throughout the day. In the evening, he was still not feeling well, so I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I see you are feeling unwell.' He replied, 'Gabriel promised to visit me, and he has never broken a promise before.' So they looked, and there was a puppy under their bed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that the puppy be taken out and the place be washed with water. Gabriel then came and said to him, 'Did you not know that we do not enter a house with a dog or a picture in it?'"
Messenger of Allah, I find a change in your mood today. Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Gabriel had promised me that he would meet me tonight, but he did not meet me. By Allah, he never broke his promises, and Messenger of Allah ﷺ spent the day in this sad (mood). Then it occurred to him that there had been a puppy under their cot. He commanded and it was turned out. He then took some water in his hand and sprinkled it at that place. When it was evening Gabriel met him and he said to him: you promised me that you would meet me the previous night. He said: Yes, but we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture. Then on that very morning he commanded the killing of the dogs until he announced that the dog kept for the orchards should also be killed, but he spared the dog meant for the protection of extensive fields (or big gardens).
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ went out one day looking sad, so I asked him why he seemed sad. He replied, "Jibreel promised me something and he has not fulfilled it." He remained like this throughout the day and night. I had a dog under a water jug with me. He commanded me to let it go, then he took some water in his hand and sprinkled it on the place where the dog was. Then Jibreel came and said, "We do not enter a house that has images or a dog." She said, "And he used to speak to the dog on the wall, but he did not allow it."
[Machine] I heard the prophet ﷺ saying, "Whoever takes on a debt with the intention to repay it, Allah will fulfill it for him on the Day of Resurrection."

[Machine] The people took a year, and the Bedouins used to come to the city, and the Prophet ﷺ would command a man to take the hand of the man and invite him and entertain him. Then, one night, a Bedouin came and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a small amount of food and some milk. The Bedouin ate it all and did not leave anything for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . Then, he came back one or two nights later and started eating it all again. So, I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "O Allah, do not bless this Bedouin who eats the food of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and leaves nothing for him." Then, he came back one night after embracing Islam, and he said, "Verily, the disbeliever eats in seven intestines, while the believer eats in one intestine."
