[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Didn't you tan it? Wouldn't you have benefited from it?" They replied, "It is a dead animal." He said, "Indeed, its tanning purifies it."  

الطبراني:٢٠٤٣٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَاتَتْ شَاةٌ لِمَيْمُونَةَ فَقَالَ

النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَلَا دَبَغْتُمْ هَلَّا اسْتَمْتَعْتُمْ بِهَا؟» فَقَالُوا إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ قَالَ «إِنَّ دِبَاغَ الْأَدِيمِ طُهُورِهُ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Have you enjoyed its hide?" They replied, "It is a dead animal." He said, "The tanning of its skin makes it pure."
