[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated on the authority of Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah, from Az-Zuhri, from 'Ubaydullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Utbah, from Ibn 'Abbas, from Maymunah, that the Prophet ﷺ passed by a dead sheep and said, "Why don't they remove its skin and tan it so that they can benefit from it?" It was said to him, "But it is dead." He then said, "Indeed, its consumption is prohibited."  

الطبراني:٢٠٤٣٤حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مَرَّ بِشَاةٍ مَيْتَةٍ فَقَالَ «هَلَّا نَزَعُوا إِهَابَهَا فَدَبَغُوهُ فَانْتَفَعُوا بِهِ؟» فَقَالَ إِنَّهَا مَيْتَةٌ فَقَالَ «إِنَّمَا حَرُمَ أَكْلُهَا»
