When the period is over, then purify yourself and perform the prayer between one period to the next." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 620)
16.39 [Machine] Umm Mubashir, the woman of Zaid bin Harithah
[Machine] I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a garden. He asked me, "Whose garden is this?" I said, "It is mine." He said, "Who planted it, a Muslim or a non-Muslim?" I replied, "A Muslim." He said, "No Muslim plants a tree or sows a seed, and then a bird, a human being, a wolf, or anything eats from it, except that it will be a charity for him." [Abdullah said], "My father was not in that version. I heard Jabir say and Ibn Numair also heard Jabir saying."
God willing, the people of the Tree would never enter the fire of Hell one amongst those who owed allegiance under that. She said: Messenger of Allah, why not? He scolded her. Hafsa said: And there is none amongst you but shall have to pass over that (narrow Bridge). Thereupon Allah's Apostle ﷺ said: Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, has said: We would rescue those persons who are God-conscious and we would leave the tyrants to their fate there (xix. 72). (Using translation from Muslim 2496)
16.40 [Machine] Fari'ah bint Malik
[Machine] That her husband went out in search of treatment for himself, and he was killed on his way back. The news of his death reached her when she was in a house among the houses of the Ansar, far from her own home. She disliked staying there, so she went to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, news of my husband's death reached me while I was in a house among the houses of the Ansar, far from my own home. He left me in a dwelling that he did not own, and did not leave me with any provision to spend on myself, nor did I inherit any wealth from him. So, if you see that it is better for me to join my brothers and family, so that we can all be together, then it would be most beloved to me. Please grant me permission to join my family." So, I left happily with that permission. But when I was in the chamber or the mosque, he called me or commanded for me to be called. I responded and he said to me, "How did you assume this?" So, I presented myself to him and he said, "Stay in the dwelling of your husband, who passed away, where you received news of his death, until the designated time period (of 'Iddah) is fulfilled." So, I prepared myself for that period, which was four months and ten days.

16.41 [Machine] Um Aiman
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not abandon prayer intentionally, for whoever abandons prayer intentionally, his covenant with Allah and His Messenger is severed."
16.42 [Machine] Mother or Partner

16.43 [Machine] Woman
[Machine] So I met a woman in Mecca who was very modest and didn't wear any jewelry except for silver. I asked her why I only see silver jewelry on the women of her tribe. She said, "My grandfather was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I was with him wearing gold earrings. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'These are two pieces of fire.' So we, the people of the household, do not wear any jewelry except for silver."

[Machine] We entered the house of Abu Hussein in a group of Quraish women, while the Prophet ﷺ was performing Tawaf between Safa and Marwa. One of the women said, as he was walking quickly and his garment was rotating around him due to the intensity of his walking, he said to his companions, "Keep walking, as Allah has ordained the act of walking for you."
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ making Tawaf between Safa and Marwa, with people in front of him and he behind them. He was hurrying until I could see his knees due to the intensity of his walk. His Izar (lower garment) was wrapped around him, and he was saying, "Hurry, for indeed Allah has ordained the Sa'y (act of walking) for you."
16.45 [Machine] Mother Karz from Al-Ka'abiya Al-Khutha'amiya
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ about 'Aqiqah, he said: for a baby boy, two sheep should be given as rewards, and for a baby girl, one sheep should be given.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was brought a young boy who had urinated on himself, so he ordered for him to be washed. Then a young girl was brought to him who had soiled herself, so he ordered for her to be washed.
[Machine] "From the Prophet ﷺ , from the young boy and from the young girl."
[Machine] She asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the 'aqeeqah (sacrifice for a newborn). He said, "For a boy, two sheep are a reward, and for a girl, one sheep." I said to 'Ata', "What are the two rewards?" He said, "He mentioned the equal." Hajjaj said in his narration, "And the lamb is more beloved to me than the goat." And he mentioned that it is more beloved to me than its females. He said, "And we love for its blackness to be from it."
That she asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the 'Aqiqah. He said: "For the boy is two sheep, and for the girl is one, it will not harm you if they (i.e. the sheep) are male or female." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1516)
[Machine] She asked the Prophet ﷺ about Aqiqah, so he mentioned it.
16.46 [Machine] Salma Bint Qais
[Machine] I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the case of a group of Ansaari women. They said, "One of the conditions upon us is that we do not deceive our husbands." When we left, we said, "By Allah, if we ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, what constitutes deceit towards our husbands?" They said, "So we returned and asked him, and he said, 'It is when you dislike something about him or give his rights to someone else.'"
16.47 [Machine] Some of the Prophet's ﷺ wives
Hunaydah ibn Khalid narrated from his wife on the authority of one of the wives of the Prophet ﷺ who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast the first nine days of Dhul-Hijjah, Ashura' and three days of every month, that is, the first Monday (of the month) and Thursday. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2437)
16.48 [Machine] Umm Haram bint Malhan
[Machine] Narrated by Umm Haram bint Milhan, who was her (Prophet Muhammad's) paternal aunt, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ slept or stayed at her house. When he woke up, he was laughing so I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what makes you laugh?" He replied, "Some people from my Ummah were presented to me, riding on the back of this green sea like kings on thrones." She said, "So I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah to make me among them.' He said, 'You will be among them.' Then he slept and woke up laughing, so I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what makes you laugh?' He replied, 'Some people from my Ummah were presented to me, riding on the back of this green sea like kings on thrones.' She said, 'So I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah to make me among them.' He said, 'You are among the first ones.' So Ubada bin As Samit married her and took her along with him. When they crossed the sea she rode a warm-blooded animal and it threw her off and killed her."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said in her house one day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up while he was laughing, and he mentioned its meaning.
16.49 [Machine] From the narration of Umm Hane' bint Abi Talib
[Machine] She went to the Prophet ﷺ on the day of the conquest, and she found him performing ablution. Fatima was covering him with a cloth. So I greeted him and it was early in the morning. He asked, "Who is this?" I said, "I am Umm Hanif." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, my son claims that he killed a man whom I hired Fulan ibn Hubayra to kill." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "We have already paid the reward to the one you hired, O Umm Hanif." When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his ablution, he stood and prayed eight rak'ahs in a garment.
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was at the highest point of Mecca, but I did not find him. Instead, I found Fatimah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and he had traces of dust on him. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have hired Hamwayn (two men) for myself, and my mother's son claims that he killed them." He said, "We have already hired someone whom you hired, and a bath has been prepared for him in a container." I saw traces of dough in it. He performed ablution or said he took a bath. I am uncertain. Then, he prayed the Fajr prayer in a garment that was soiled with it.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Take the sheep, for there is blessing in them."
"I used to listen to the Prophet ﷺ reciting Quran when I was on my roof." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1013)
[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about His saying, exalted be He, "{And they used to come to you with false words.}" [Al-Ankabut 29]. He said, "They used to insult and mock the people of the way, and that is the evil (Munkar) which they used to commit."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , entered upon me and asked for water to drink. He was given water and he drank, then he handed it to me and I drank. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I was fasting and I disliked returning your cup to you." He said, "Were you fulfilling a need?" I said, "No." He said, "Then there is no harm upon you."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered upon her on the day of the conquest, so she brought him a drink and he drank from it. Then she offered it to him again, and he drank from it. Then she said, "O Messenger of Allah, I did something, and I do not know if it is good for you or not." He asked, "What is it, O Umm Hani?" She said, "I was fasting, but I disliked to return your favor, so I broke my fast." He asked, "Was it a voluntary or obligatory fast?" She replied, "It was voluntary." He said, "Indeed, the fasting person who performs voluntary fasts is in control. If he wants, he fasts, and if he wants, he breaks his fast."
[Machine] He entered upon Umm Hani bint Abi Talib and asked her about the entrance of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of the conquest. He asked her, "Did the Prophet ﷺ pray at your house?" She said, "He entered during the time of Dhuha (forenoon prayer) and I poured water for him in a container. I saw some dough in it, so I asked him whether he performed ablution or took a ritual bath before he offered four Rak'ahs (units of prayer) in this mosque, which is located in her house." Yusuf (the narrator) said, "I do not know which of the two options she mentioned he chose, but she informed me that he performed ablution and then offered four Rak'ahs in that mosque."

[Machine] She asked the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , "Will we recognize each other when we die and see one another?" The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , responded, "The breeze will be like a bird that alights on a tree, until on the Day of Judgment, every soul will enter its own body."
(the freed slave of Um Hani) Um Hani, the daughter of Abi Talib said, "I went to Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of the conquest of Mecca and found him taking a bath and his daughter Fatima was screening him. I greeted him. He asked, 'Who is she?' I replied, 'I am Um Hani bint Abi Talib.' He said, 'Welcome! O Um Hani.' When he finished his bath he stood up and prayed eight rakʿat while wearing a single garment wrapped round his body and when he finished I said, 'O Messenger of Allah ﷺ ! My brother has told me that he will kill a person whom I gave shelter and that person is so and so the son of Hubaira.' The Prophet ﷺ said, 'We shelter the person whom you have sheltered.' " Um Hani added, "And that was before noon (Duha). (Using translation from Bukhārī 357)

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Makkah, and he had four braids." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1781)
[Machine] I saw four braids on the head of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ .
[Machine] I asked the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it, but I did not find anyone who would inform me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed it except that Umm Hani informed me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her and prayed eight units. I did not see him pray before it or after it.
[Machine] He heard Umm Hanea saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had prayed eight units of prayer in my house, all while wearing a single garment.
[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am a pregnant woman and I am experiencing difficulty. Teach me something to say while I am sitting." He said, "Say 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Greatest) one hundred times, for it is better for you than one hundred adorned and accepted body sacrifices. And say 'Alhamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah) one hundred times, for it is better for you than one hundred saddled and bridled horses that you carry in the cause of Allah. And say 'Subhanallah' (Glory be to Allah) one hundred times, for it is better for you than one hundred liberated slaves from the descendants of Ismail whom you set free. And say 'La ilaha illa Allah' (There is no god but Allah) one hundred times, it will be a protection for you from sins and actions will follow it."

[Machine] Narrated Abu Umamah:
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not keep company with the angels while holding a bell." I said, "You have made yourself miserable, O Abu Abdullah!" He said to me, "How is that?" I said, 'Ubaydullah informed me on the authority of Nafi', who in turn said, on the authority of Salim, on the authority of Abu Al-Ja'd, on the authority of Umm Habibah, who narrated that the Prophet ﷺ had said, "You have spoken the truth."
