[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ entered upon her on the day of the conquest, so she brought him a drink and he drank from it. Then she offered it to him again, and he drank from it. Then she said, "O Messenger of Allah, I did something, and I do not know if it is good for you or not." He asked, "What is it, O Umm Hani?" She said, "I was fasting, but I disliked to return your favor, so I broke my fast." He asked, "Was it a voluntary or obligatory fast?" She replied, "It was voluntary." He said, "Indeed, the fasting person who performs voluntary fasts is in control. If he wants, he fasts, and if he wants, he breaks his fast."
