[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the night in which I was taken on the Night Journey, I found a pleasant fragrance. So I said, 'O Jibril, what is this pleasant fragrance?' He said, 'This is the fragrance of the comb of the daughter of Fir'awn and her children.' I asked, 'What is the matter with her?' He said, 'While she was combing the daughter of Fir'awn, the comb fell from her hand, so she said, 'In the name of Allah.' Fir'awn's daughter said to her, 'Is it my father or your Lord that you seek?' She said, 'Rather, my Lord and your Lord and the Lord of your father is Allah.' She said, 'Do you have a Lord other than my father?' She said, 'Yes.' She said, 'Yes.' She said, 'Then I will inform him about that.' She said, 'Yes.' So she informed him, and he called her and said, 'O so-and-so, do you have a Lord other than me?' She said, 'Yes, my Lord and your Lord is Allah.' So he commanded for a cow made of copper to be taken, and it was heated and her children were thrown into it one by one. She said, 'I have a request for you.' He said, 'What is it?' She said, 'I want my bones and the bones of my child to be gathered together and placed in one shroud, and we be buried together.' He said, 'That is upon you.' So her children continued to be thrown into the cow until it reached her infant son. It was as if she hesitated for his sake, so he said to her, 'O mother, go ahead, for the punishment of this world is easier than the punishment of the Hereafter.' Ibn 'Abbas said: "Then four people stood up to speak, 'Eesa ibn Maryam, the companion of Jurayj, the witness of Yusuf, and the son of Fir'awn's maid. And the narration is from the Hadith of Abu 'Umar ad-Dariri."

[Machine] I was taught a verse from the Quran that a man had never asked me about before, so I do not know if people know it and have not asked about it, or if they are unaware of it and therefore do not ask about it. Then he suddenly woke up and started speaking to us, so when he got up, we recited together that we should not ask him about it. I said to myself that I would ask him about it tomorrow, so when the next day came, I said to Ibn Abbas, "Did you mention yesterday that a man had never asked you about a verse from the Quran? So you do not know if people know it and have not asked about it, or if they are unaware of it and therefore do not ask about it?" So I said to him, "Tell me about it and the ones you recited before it." He said, "Yes, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the Quraysh, 'O People of Quraysh, none is worshipped besides Allah is better, and Quraysh knew that the Christians worshiped Jesus son of Mary, and what do you say about Muhammad?' They said, 'O Muhammad, do you claim that Jesus was a prophet and a righteous slave of Allah? If you are truthful, then certainly their gods are as you say.' So Allah revealed, 'And when the son of Mary was presented as an example, immediately your people laughed aloud....' (Quran 43:57). I said, 'What did they laugh at?' He said, 'They whispered (in disbelief). And indeed, it is knowledge of the Hour... ' (Quran 43:61). He said, 'It is the exit of Jesus son of Maryﷺ before the Day of Resurrection.'"

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was taken to the House of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa and then returned from his night journey. He told the people about his journey, the signs of Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, and his riding animal. Some people said, "Can we believe Muhammad in what he says?" then they turned disbelievers. Allah struck their necks along with Abu Jahl. Abu Jahl said, "Muhammad is scaring us with the tree of Zaqqum. Bring dates and butter and you will see the effects." He (the Prophet) saw the Dajjal (the Antichrist) in his true form, a vision that was not a dream, and he saw Jesus, Moses, and Abraham, may Allah's peace be upon them. The Prophet ﷺ was asked about the Dajjal, and he said, "He is blind in one eye which looks like a shining star, and his hair is like branches of a tree. I saw Jesus as a young man with curly hair and sharp eyes, having a beautiful countenance. I saw Moses as a brown man, with a lot of hair. I saw Abraham, and I do not look at any Arab but I see him similar to me, as if he is your companion." Gabriel ﷺ told the Prophet ﷺ to send greetings to Malik, so he sent greetings to him.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary) will descend and will kill the pig, abolish the cross, and gather the prayer. Wealth will be abundant until no one will accept it, and he will eliminate the jizyah (tax). The aromatic plants will descend, and from them he will perform Hajj or 'Umrah, or he will gather them both. Abu Hurayrah recited: 'And there is none among the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness.' (Quran 4:159) So Hanthalah claimed that Abu Hurayrah said, 'He will believe in Jesus before his death.' I do not know if all of this is a saying of the Prophet ﷺ or something Abu Hurayrah said."

[Machine] He gathered them and made them souls, then he shaped them and made them speak. Then He took their covenant and agreement and asked them, "Am I not your Lord?" Or [lest] you say, "It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] with Allah before, and we were but descendants after them. Then would You destroy us for what the falsifiers have done?" And thus do We [explain in] detail the verses, and [We] have revealed [this Qur'an] to you [O Muhammad] that you may inform the people of that which they dispute concerning and that it may be a guidance and mercy for a people who believe. [Machine] We sent the messenger of Allah ﷺ to the Negus, and we were about eighty men, including Abdullah bin Mas'ood, Ja'far, Abdullah bin Urfutah, Uthman bin Mazh'un, and Abu Musa. They went to the Negus, and Quraysh sent Amr bin al-As and Amarah bin al-Walid with a gift. When they entered upon the Negus, they prostrated to him and then sat on his right and left. They said to him, "Some of our relatives have settled in your land and turned away from us and our religion." He asked, "Where are they?" They replied, "They are in your land, so please send for them." He sent for them, and Ja'far said, "I am your speaker today, so follow me." He greeted the Negus and did not prostrate. They asked him, "Why don't you prostrate to the king?" He replied, "We only prostrate to Allah, the Almighty. He sent His Messenger ﷺ to us and commanded us to prostrate only to Him. He also commanded us to pray and pay zakah." Amr bin al-As said, "But they differ from you regarding Jesus, son of Mary." The Negus asked, "What do you say about Jesus, son of Mary and his mother?" They replied, "We say as Allah, the Almighty, says; Jesus is Allah's word and a spirit from Him. He cast it upon the chaste virgin and she became pregnant without a man touching her, and she did not give birth to a son." He then raised a stick from the ground and said, "O people of Abyssinia, priests, and monks, by Allah, they do not differ from what we say about Jesus. They welcome us and the one who has come with us. I bear witness that he is the Messenger of Allah. He is the one we find in the Injeel (Gospel) and the one whom Jesus, son of Mary, gave glad tidings about. Go wherever you like, for Allah, if it were not for the kingdom that I have, I would go to him, carry his slippers, wash his feet, and bring gifts to him." The Negus returned their gifts to them. Abdullah bin Mas'ood hurried until he reached Badr, claiming that the Prophet ﷺ sought his forgiveness when he heard about his death.

[Machine] The messenger of Allah (pbuh) ordered us to depart to the land of the Negus, so the Quraysh found out about it and they sent Amr ibn al-Aas and Ammarah ibn al-Waleed and they gathered gifts for the Negus. We arrived before them to the Negus and they came to him with gifts, and he accepted them and prostrated to Allah. Then Amr ibn al-Aas told him that there are people among us who have deviated from our religion while they are in your land. The Negus asked, "In my land?" Amr replied, "Yes." The Negus then sent for us, and Ja'far, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "No one among us will speak today, I will be your spokesperson." So we went to the Negus, while he was sitting in his council with Amr ibn al-Aas on his right and Ammarah on his left, and the priests were sitting, wearing white garments. Amr said to him, "They don't prostrate to you." So when we reached the Negus, we exposed those who were with him from the priests and monks, and they prostrated to the king. Ja'far said, "We only prostrate to Allah." The Negus asked, "And what is this?" Ja'far replied, "Indeed, Allah has sent among us His Messenger, who is the one Jesus foretold. He comes after him, and his name is Ahmad. He has commanded us to worship Allah alone, not associating anything with Him, to establish prayer, pay Zakat, and commanded us to do good and forbid evil." The people were amazed by his words. When Amr saw that, he said to the Negus, "May Allah rectify the king, for they differ with you regarding Jesus, the son of Mary." The Negus asked Ja'far, "What does your companion say about Jesus, the son of Mary?" He replied, "He says about him what is stated in the word of Allah, that he is the Spirit from Allah and His word that He sent down to the Virgin Mary, untouched by any man." The Negus picked up a stick from the ground and said, "O priests and monks, does what he says increase upon what you say about Jesus?" They replied, "This does not weigh as much as a goodbye from you. Welcome to you and to those who have come to you from him. I bear witness that he is the messenger of Allah and the one Jesus foretold. If it weren't for the fact that I am in his place of authority, I would go to him, even if that meant I had to crawl to him. [Machine] And he said, "What do you say?" So we said, "Indeed, our people worship idols, and indeed Allah has sent a Messenger to us, so we believed in him and affirmed him." So Najashi said to them, "Are they your slaves?" They said, "No." He said, "Then they are free from any debt from you?" They said, "No." He said, "So leave them alone." So we left his presence. 'Amr bin Al-Aas said, "Indeed, these people say about 'Isa (Jesus) what you do not say." He said, "If they do not say about 'Isa what I say, I will not leave them in my land for a moment of the day." He said, "So he sent for us, and his invitation was tougher on us than the first. So he said, "What does your companion say about 'Isa ibn Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary)?" So we said, "He says he is the Spirit of Allah and His word, which He bestowed upon the Virgin Mary." He said, "So he sent for them and said, "Summon this priest and this monk." So people from among them came to him, and he said, "What do you say about 'Isa ibn Maryam?" They said, "You know best." He said, "So what do you say?" Najashi took something from the ground, and said, "This is what 'Isa says. He does not exceed what these people say." Then he said to them, "Does anyone harm you?" They said, "Yes." So he commanded a caller to announce, "Whoever harms any of them will be granted an allowance of four dirhams." Then he said, "Is this enough for you?" They said, "No." So he doubled it. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ emigrated to Al-Madinah and appeared there, we said to Najashi, "Indeed, our companion has left for Al-Madinah and has appeared there, and he emigrated and killed those whom we informed you about, and we wanted to join him." So he provided us with what we needed and said, "Inform your companion of what I have done for you, and this is my Messenger with you, and I testify that there is no god but Allah, and that you are the Messenger of Allah." So tell him to seek forgiveness for me." Ja'far said, "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up, performed ablution, then he prayed three times, 'O Allah, forgive Najashi.' And the Muslims said, 'Ameen.' Ja'far said, "I said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , 'Leave now and inform your companion about what you have seen of the Prophet ﷺ .' And the wording is that of the hadith of Muhammad bin Adam."

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say, "Verily, the Dajjal (Anti-Christ) will appear and he is one-eyed, blind in the left eye, and on it is a thick lump. He will heal the blind, the leper, and bring the dead back to life. He will say to the people, 'I am your Lord,' and whoever says, 'You are my Lord,' will be put to trial, while whoever says, 'Allah is my Lord,' and remains steadfast until he dies, will be protected from his trial and will be protected from any trial after him, and there will be no punishment. He will stay on the earth as long as Allah wills, and then Jesus, son of Mary, will descend from the East and he will affirm the truth of Muhammad and his religion. He will kill the Dajjal, and then indeed, it will be the time of the Hour."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: "Indeed, the False Messiah (Dajjal) is one-eyed, but your Lord is not one-eyed. On his forehead will be written the word 'kafir' (disbeliever), which every believer, literate or illiterate, will be able to read. He will be barren and without children. He will be very short, with a broad upper body and broad shoulders. He will have hair on him, and he will be white-haired even though he is known to be young. He will emerge between Sham (Greater Syria) and Iraq, and his followers will come out with him in every city or forest, except Makkah and Madinah. He will have two rivers flowing with him, one white and one black. Whichever river he presents himself before, the white one will appear to be flowing with water, although in reality it will be fire. From the signs of his Lord is that he will have a paradise and a hell made, but his paradise will be a hell and his hell will be a paradise. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Dajjal will emerge, and he will be blind in one eye, with a thick nail on it. He will cure the blind and the lepers and will resurrect the dead. He will say to the people, 'I am your Lord.' Whoever says to him, 'You are my Lord,' will be tested, and whoever says, 'My Lord is Allah,' until he dies upon that, will be saved from the Fitnah (trial) of the Dajjal and will not be affected by his trial. He will remain on the earth as long as Allah wills, then Jesus, the son of Mary, will come from the East as a follower of Muhammad ﷺ , and he will kill the Dajjal. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If the Dajjal comes out while I am alive, I will take care of him for you. But if he comes out after me, then your Lord (Allah) is not blind, and he will come out in the land of the Jews, in Asbahan or Isfahan, until he reaches Medina. He will descend on its side, and on that day it will have seven gates, each guarded by two angels. The evil ones of its people will then gather and march towards Sham (Syria), a city in Palestine, through the gate of Lud. [Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: Only three spoke in the cradle: Jesus son of Mary, a young boy in the time of Jurayj, and another young boy. He mentioned the following hadith: Jurayj was a devout man among the Children of Israel, and he had a mother. One day, while he was praying, his mother missed him and called out to him, saying: "O Jurayj!" He replied: "O Lord, should I answer her call or continue with my prayer?" Then he prayed and she called him again, and he responded in the same way. This happened a few times, and his mother became very upset and said: "O Allah! Show me Jurayj fully exposed!" So Jurayj went up to a small room, where there was a woman from the Children of Israel who was known for her immorality. He then mentioned something similar to this.

[Machine] The delegation from Najran came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him, "What do you say about Jesus, the son of Mary?" He replied, "He is the spirit of Allah and His word, and a servant and Messenger of Allah." They said to him, "Do you mind if we curse him as he is not in that way?" He asked them, "Is that what you prefer?" They answered, "Yes." He said, "If you wish," and then the Prophet ﷺ gathered his sons, Al-Hasan and Al-Hussein, and said to the delegation leader, "Do not curse this man. By Allah, if you do, one of the two groups (either Najran or the Muslims) will be destroyed." They came and said to him, "O Abul-Qasim, our fools wanted to curse you, but we love it if you pardon us." He replied, "I have already pardoned you." Then he said, "Indeed, the punishment has overshadowed Najran."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I know what the Antichrist (Dajjal) has with him. He has two rivers, one fire that appears as blazing flames to anyone who sees it, and the other is water that appears white. So if any of you can find him, let him close his eyes and drink the water that appears as fire, for it is actually cool water. Beware of the other river, for it is the tribulation. Know that it is written between his eyes that he is a disbeliever, which can be read by those who can read and even those who cannot read. And know that one of his eyes is wiped over which a mark is left, and from that mark he will emerge towards the end of his affair on the outskirts of the Jordan River, near his house. He will awake and everyone who believes in Allah and the Last Day will be in the vicinity of the Jordan River. And know that he will kill one-third of the Muslims, defeat one-third, and leave one-third. The night will befall them, and some of the believers will say to others, 'What are you waiting for to join your brothers for the sake of pleasing your Lord? So whoever has extra food, let him feed his brother. Pray when dawn breaks and hurry in performing the prayer, then face your enemy.' When they stand for prayer, Jesus, the son of Mary, peace be upon him, will descend to lead them in prayer. After he finishes, he will say, 'This is how you should relieve yourselves from the enemy of Allah.' Abu Hazim said, 'He will melt like salt melts in water.' Abdullah ibn Amr said, 'He will vanish like salt dissolves in water.' Allah will give victory to the Muslims, and they will kill their enemies until even the rocks and the trees will call, 'O Abdullah, O slave of the Most Merciful, O Muslim, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.' So Allah will expose the Muslims, and they will break the cross, kill the swine, and abolish the jizya (tax on non-Muslims). While they are in this state, Allah will bring forth Gog and Magog. They will drink from the lake at the beginning, and the last of them will pass by it and say, 'We have defeated our enemies, here is a trace of water.' Then the Prophet of Allah ﷺ and his companions will follow them until they enter one of the cities in Palestine called Lud. They will say, 'We have defeated those on earth, let us fight those in the sky.' At that moment, Allah will send a disease upon them, opening up boils in their necks, and none of them will remain except that their stench will harm the Muslims. At that point, Jesus, peace be upon him, will call upon Allah, and Allah will send a wind that will throw them into the sea, all of them."

"There were kings after 'Isa bin Mariam who altered the Tawrah and the Injil, but there were among them believers who read the Tawrah. It was said to their kings: 'We have never heard of any slander worse than that of those (believers) who slander us and recite: "And whosoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed, such are the disbelievers." In these Verses, they are criticizing us for our deeds when they recite them.' So he called them together and gave them the choice between being put to death, or giving up reading the Tawrah and Injil, except for what had been altered. They said: 'Why do you want us to change? Leave us alone.' Some of them said: 'Build us a tower and let us go up there, and give us something to lift up our food and drink so we do not have to mix with you.' Others said: 'Let us go and wander throughout the land, and we will drink as the wild animals drink, and if you capture us in your land, you may kill us.' Others said: 'Build houses for us in the wilderness, and we will dig wells and grow vegetables, and we will not mix with you or pass by you, for there is no one of the tribes among whom we do not have close relatives.' So they did that, and Allah revealed the words: 'But the monasticism which they invented for themselves, We did not prescribe for them, but (they sought it) only to please Allah therewith, but that they did not observe it with the right observance.' Then others said: 'We will worship as so-and-so worshipped, and we will wander as so-and-so wandered, and we will adopt houses (in the wilderness) as so-and-so did.' But they were still following their Shirk with no knowledge of the faith of those whom they claimed to be following. When Allah sent the Prophet [SAW], and they were only a few of them left, a man came down from his cell, and a wanderer came from his travels, and a monk came from his monastery, and they believed in him. And Allah said: 'O you who believe! Fear Allah, and believe in His Messenger (Muhammad), He will give you a double portion of His mercy - meaning, two rewards, because of their having believed in 'Isa and in the Tawrah and Injil, and for having believing in Muhammad [SAW]; and He will give you a light by which you shall walk (straight), - meaning, the Qur'an, and their following the Prophet [SAW]; and He said: 'So that the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) may know that they have no power whatsoever over the Grace of Allah.'"
