[Machine] The delegation from Najran came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him, "What do you say about Jesus, the son of Mary?" He replied, "He is the spirit of Allah and His word, and a servant and Messenger of Allah." They said to him, "Do you mind if we curse him as he is not in that way?" He asked them, "Is that what you prefer?" They answered, "Yes." He said, "If you wish," and then the Prophet ﷺ gathered his sons, Al-Hasan and Al-Hussein, and said to the delegation leader, "Do not curse this man. By Allah, if you do, one of the two groups (either Najran or the Muslims) will be destroyed." They came and said to him, "O Abul-Qasim, our fools wanted to curse you, but we love it if you pardon us." He replied, "I have already pardoned you." Then he said, "Indeed, the punishment has overshadowed Najran."
