The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us (to give us an address) and he left out nothing that would happen up to the last hour without telling of it. Some remembered it and some forgot, and these Companions of his have known it. When something of it which I have forgotten happens, I remembered it, just as a man remembers another's face when he is a away and recognizes him when he sees him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4240)

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and delivered a speech, sharing with us what will happen between us and the Hour. There is something I want to say to you: when I was alone, I was not alone. There was someone with me who remembered what was said and someone who forgot what was said."

Messenger of Allah ﷺ led us in the dawn prayer and then mounted the pulpit and addressed us until it was (time for the) noon prayer. He then came down the pulpit and observed prayer and then again mounted the pulpit and again addressed us until it was time for the 'Asr prayer. He then again came down and observed the prayer and again mounted the pulpit and addressed us until the sun was set and he informed (about) everything (pertaining to turmoil) that lay hidden in the past and what lies in (the womb) of) the future and the most learned amongst us is one who remembers them well (Using translation from Muslim 2892)
that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Your period in comparison to the periods of the previous nations, is like the period between Salat Al-'Asr until sunset. And you are in comparison to the Jews and Christians, like a man who employeed some workers and he said: 'Who will work for me until Midday for a Qirat each?' So the Jews worked for half a day for a Qirat each. Then he said: 'Who will work for me from the middle of the day until Salat Al-'Asr for a Qirat each?' So the Christians worked for a Qirat each. Then it is you who are doing the work from Salat Al-'Asr until the setting of the sun for two Qirats each. So the Jews and the Christians got angry and said: 'We did more work but were given less?' So He (Allah) says: 'Have I wronged you in any of your rights?' They said: 'No.' He says: 'Then it is my blessing that I give to whomever I wish.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2871)

[Machine] "Abu Tayyah, Qatadah, and Hamzah Ad-Dabbii narrated that they heard Anas ibn Malik saying that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'I have been sent and the Hour is like this,' while he pointed with his two fingers. Qatadah used to say, 'As if he meant the superiority of one over the other.'"

The Prophet said to 'Ali: "Would it not please you to be to me as Harun was to Musa?" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 115)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Abu Bakr. When Abu Bakr arrived at Dajnan, he heard the sound of a camel named Bugham belonging to Ali. He recognized the camel and approached Ali, asking him, "What is the matter with me?" Ali replied, "It is good. Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ sent me with a letter of innocence." When we returned, Abu Bakr set off and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is my matter?" The Prophet replied, "You are my companion in the cave, except that the divine revelation does not come to anyone except me or a man from me, meaning Ali."
when the Prophet came back from the Umrah of Al-Jirranah, he sent Abu Bakr to lead the Hajj. We wnet the him until, when he was in Al-Urj, the Iqamah for Subh was said, and he stood up to say the Takbir while he heard the grunting of a camel behind him, and he did not say the Takbir. He said: "This is the grunting of the camel of the Messenger of Allah has had second thoughts about the Hajj, and may be he is here, and we will pray with him." But it was 'Ali on the camel. Abu Bakr said to him: "(Have you come) as a leader or as messenger?" He said: "No, as a messenger, sent by the Messenger of Allah with a declaration of innocence to recite it to the people in the stations of Hajj. So we came to makkah and one day before the day of At-Tarwiyah Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and addressed the people telling them about their rituals. When he finished, Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and recited the declaration of innocence to the people until he finished it. Then we went out with hm and on the day of Arafat. Abu Bakr stood up and addressed people, telling them about rituals. When he finished, Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and recited the declaration of innocence to the people until he finished it. Then on the day of Sacrifice, we departed (Ifadah) and when Abu Bakr came back, eh addressed the people, telling them about their departure (Ifadah), sacrifice and rituals. When he finished, Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and recited the declaration of innocence to the people until he finished it. On the first day of An-Nafr (The 12th of Dhul-Hijjah), Abu Bakr stood up and addressed the people, telling them how to offer their sacrifice and how to stone the Jamrat, and teaching them their rituals. When he had finished, "Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, stood up and recited the declaration of innocence to the people until he finished it. (Daif) Abu Abdur-Rahman (An-Nasai) said: Ibn Khuthaim is not strong in Hadith, and I only narrated this so it would not be considered to be from Ibn Juraij from Abu Az-Zubai. And we did not write it except from Ishaq bin Rahuyah bin Ibrahm. And yahya bin Saeed Al-Qattan did not abandon the narrations of Ibn Khuthaim, or dod Abdur-Rahamn. However, Ali bin Al-Madini said: "Ibn Khuthaim is Munkar in Hadith," and Ali bin Al-Madini is more knowledgeable of Hadith. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2993)

When Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, intends to show mercy to an Umma from amongst His servants He calls back His Apostle to his eternal home and makes him a harbinger and recompense in the world to come; and when He intends to cause destruction to an Umma, He punishes it while its Apostle is alive and He destroys it as he (the Apostle) witnesses it and he cools his eyes by destruction as they had belied him and disobeyed his command. (Using translation from Muslim 2288)

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Islam will continue to be triumphant until there have been twelve Caliphs. Then the Prophet ﷺ said something which I could not understand. What made you laugh. Messenger of Allah? He said: Some people from my Umma were presented to me who were fighters in the way of Allah and were sailing in this sea. (Gliding smoothly on the water), they appeared to be kings or like kings (sitting) on thrones (the narrator has a doubt about the actual expression used by the Holy Prophet). She said: Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah that He may include me among these warriors. He prayed for her. Then he placed his head (down) and dozed off (again). He woke up laughing, as before. (She said) I said: Messenger of Allah, what makes you laugh? He replied: A people from my Umma were presented to me. They were fighters in Allah's way. (He described them in the same words as he had described the first warriors.) She said: Messenger of Allah, pray to God that He may include me among these warriors. He said: You are among the first ones. Umm Haram daughter of Milhan sailed in the aea in the time of Mu'awiya. When she came out of the sea and (was going to mount a riding animal) she fell down and died. (Using translation from Muslim 1912a)

I replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, my eyes overpowered me." He said, "So what will you do if you are expelled from here?" I said, "What can I do, O Prophet of Allah, shall I strike them with my sword?" Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Shall I not guide you to what is better for you than that and more correct in guidance? Abu Dharr said, "So he kept repeating it to me until I fell asleep." Then he said, "O Abu Dharr, if all the people were to adopt it, it would be sufficient for them." Then he said, "O Abu Dharr, what will you do if you are expelled from the city?" I said, "I will rely on my ability and beg from others, and I will become a pigeon among the pigeons of Makkah." He said, "And what will you do if you are expelled from Makkah?" I said, "I will rely on my ability and beg from others, and I will go to the land of Sham and the holy land." He said, "And what will you do if you are expelled from there?" I said, "Then, by the One who sent you with the truth, I will take my sword and place it on my shoulder." He ﷺ said, "Is there anything better than that, where you would listen and obey a mulatto Abyssinian slave?"

[Machine] When Abu Dharr was about to die, I cried and he asked, "Why are you crying?" I said, "Why shouldn't I cry when you are about to die on a piece of land and I don't have a shroud that will fit you?" He said, "Don't cry and rejoice, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'A man among you will die on a piece of land witnessed by a group of believers.' None of those who heard this hadith are alive except me, and I am the one who will die on a piece of land." I continued to watch the road. She said, "What can I do, as the traveler has already left and the roads are blocked?" He said, "Go and look." She said, "I went to Kazeep, watched, then returned to him and told him." She said, "As I was doing this, I saw a group of men on their camels, which made it look like they were ants. They approached until they stood in front of me and said, "What is wrong with you, servant of Allah?" I said to them, "A Muslim man is dying and you are not burying him?" They asked, "Who is he?" I said, "Abu Dharr." They said, "The companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" I said, "Yes." She said, "They swore by their fathers and mothers and hurried towards him. They entered his house and he welcomed them. He said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to a group of people, 'Among you, a man will die on a piece of land witnessed by a group of believers.' No one from among those people is alive except the Ansari youth, who said, 'O uncle, I will shroud you.'
[Machine] When Aba Dhar was approaching death, I cried. He asked me, "What makes you cry?" I said, "Why shouldn't I cry when you are about to die on a patch of land? I don't have a shroud big enough to cover you, nor do I have hands to bury you." He said, "Rejoice and do not cry, for I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'No two Muslim parents lose two children or more and show patience and seek reward, except that they will see Paradise forever.' And I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to a group of people that I am among them, 'One of you will die on a patch of land witnessed by a group of believers.' None of those people left except that they died in a village and community, except for me. By Allah, I am not lying. So, look for the way." I said, "How can I find the way when the pilgrims have already left and the roads are cut off?" He said, "Go and look for it." So, I sought it with great difficulty until I reached a sandy area, then I returned and made him sick. While he was in that condition, suddenly I saw men on their camels as if they were specks of sand in the wind. I said, "Hurry up and come to me!" When they stood in front of me, they said, "O servant of Allah, what is wrong with you?" I said, "A Muslim man has died, so won't you shroud him?" They asked, "Who is he?" I said, "Abu Dhar." They said, "The companion of the Messenger of Allah?" I said, "Yes." So, they sacrificed their fathers and mothers for him and hurried towards him until they entered upon him. He said to them, "Rejoice, for I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say to a group of people that I am among them, 'One of you will die on a patch of land witnessed by a group of believers.' None of those people died except in a group." I swear by Allah that I did not lie and he did not lie. If I had a shroud that would fit either me or my wife, I would not have shrouded him except in that shroud. I implore you by Allah that no one among you, whether a leader, a dignitary, a messenger, or a captain, shrouds me. None of those people died except that they committed some of what he (the Prophet) mentioned, except for one young boy from the Ansar. He said, "I will shroud you, O uncle. I will shroud you in my garment and in two robes from my mother's yarn." He said, "You, then shroud me." So, the Ansari among the group who were present and stood over him shrouded him and buried him in a group, all of whom were from Yemen.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Enter, O ‘Awf.’ I said, ‘All of me, O Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘All of you.’ Then he said: ‘O ‘Awf, remember six things (that will occur) before the Hour comes, one of which is my death.’ I was very shocked and saddened at that. He said: ‘Count that as the first. Then (will come) the conquest of Baitul-Maqdis (Jerusalem); then a disease which will appear among you and cause you and your offspring to die as martyrs and will purify your deeds; then there will be (much) wealth among you, so that if a man were to be given one hundred Dinar he would still be dissatisfied; and there will be tribulation among you that will not leave any Muslim house untouched;* then there will be a treaty between you and the Romans, then they will betray you and march against you with eighty banners, under each of which will be twelve thousand (troops).’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4042)

He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sent to the place where he was sent, and I hated him more than I ever hated anything before. So I set off until I was in the farthest part of the earth from Rome. I said to myself, 'If I see this man and he is lying, he will not be able to deceive me, and if he is truthful, I will follow him.' So I approached, and when I reached the city, the people looked at me and said, 'Adi bin Hatim has come, Adi bin Hatim has come.' The Prophet ﷺ said to me, 'O Adi bin Hatim, embrace Islam, you will be safe.' I said, 'I have a religion.' He said, 'I know more about your religion than you do. Haven’t you been a leader of your people?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'Do you eat from the Sadaqah (charity)?' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'That is not permissible for you in your religion.' I was shaken by this, and then he said, 'O Adi bin Hatim, embrace Islam and you will be safe. I see, or as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, there is no reason for you not to embrace Islam when you see the signs around me. You are soon to leave the state of doubt without living in a state of confusion, to go around the Kaaba, and treasures from Kisra ibn Hurmuz will be opened for us." Adi bin Hatim said, "I saw the state of doubt leaving me, without living in a state of confusion, until I went around the Kaaba. I was among the first riders who rushed to the cities for the treasures of Kisra ibn Hurmuz. I swear by Allah, the third thing that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me will come true."

"We were in the company of Jabir b. 'Abdullah that he said it may happen that the people of Iraq may not send their qafiz and dirhams (their measures of food stuff and their money). We said: Who would be responsible for it? He said: The non-Arabs would prevent them. He again said: There is the possibility that the people of Syria may not send their dinars and mudds. We said: Who would be responsible for it? He said this prevention would be made by the Romans. He (Jabir b. Abdullah) kept quiet for a while and then reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ having said there would be a caliph in the last (period) of my Ummah who would freely give handfuls of wealth to the people without counting it. I said to Abu Nadra and Abu al-'Ala: Do you mean 'Umar b. 'Abd al-Aziz? They said: No (he would be Imam Mahdi). (Using translation from Muslim 2913a)

[Machine] "When the man arrived in the city, he would have a guide with him, meaning a local who would host him. If he did not have a guide, he would stay at a hostel called As-Suffah. He said, 'I stayed at As-Suffah and accompanied a man who would bring us a basket of dates every day from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . The dates were enough for two men, and we had nothing to eat except for dates and bread made from barley flour.' So, we went to our brothers from the Ansar, and their main food was dates. They shared their dates with us. I stood up and went to the pulpit and praised and thanked Allah. Then, I mentioned what I encountered among his people. I said, 'We stayed, my companion and I, for about fourteen days with nothing to eat except for dates and barley bread. We came to our brothers from the Ansar, and their main food was dates. They shared their dates with us. By Allah, if I had found bread and meat for you, I would have fed you. However, you may be in a time where you find something similar to the As-Shatair (the clothing of the Kaaba) to wear and a meal to eat.'

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ rode on a donkey and asked me to join him on the back. Then he said, "O Abu Dharr, what do you think if the people suffer from severe hunger to the extent that they cannot go from their beds to their mosques, what would you do?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Fast." He then asked, "O Abu Dharr, what do you think if the people face a severe epidemic to the point that houses would be filled with dead bodies, what would you do?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Be patient." He then asked, "O Abu Dharr, what do you think if people start killing one another and blood flows in the streets, what would you do?" I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Stay in your house and close your door." I asked, "What if I am not allowed to do so?" He replied, "Join those who are like you." I asked, "Should I take my weapon with me?" He said, "If you fear that the sword might intimidate you, then cover your face with your robe, for that would deter both you and their aggression."
