ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنْ فَتْحِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا الْأَمْوَالَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ

ibnhibban:6678 – ʿUmar b. Muḥammad al-Hamdānī > Muḥammad b. Bashhār > Abū Dāwud > Shuʿbah > Maʿbad b. Khālid > Ḥārithah b. Wahbal-Khuzāʿī

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give in charity, for a day will come when one of you will pass by his charity and will not find anyone to accept it, and he will say, 'Why didn't I give it in my lifetime?' As for today, there is no need for it."  

ابن حبّان:٦٦٧٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حَارِثَةَ بْنَ وَهْبٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «تَصَدَّقُوا فَسَيَأْتِي عَلَيْكُمْ يَوْمٌ يَمُرُّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَلَا يَجِدُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُهَا يَقُولُ فَهَلَّا قَبْلَ الْيَوْمِ فَأَمَّا الْيَوْمُ فَلَا حَاجَةَ لِي فِيهَا»

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "O people! Give in charity as a time will come upon you when a person will wander about with his object of charity and will not find anybody to accept it, and one (who will be requested to take it) will say, "If you had brought it yesterday, would have taken it, but today I am not in need of it."

"تَصَدقُوا، فَسَيَأتِى عَلَيكمْ زَمَان يَمْشِي الرَّجُلُ بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَيَقُولُ الَّذِي يَأتِيهِ بهَا: لَوْ جِئْتَ بِهَا بِالأمْسِ لَقبِلتُهَا، فَأمَّا الآنَ فَلَا حَاجةَ لي فِيهَا، فَلَا يَجِدُ مَنْ يَقْبَلُهَا".
