ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنْ قُرْبِ السَّاعَةِ مِنَ النُّبُوَّةِ بِالْإِشَارَةِ الْمَعْلُومَةِ

ibnhibban:6640 – ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan b. Salm al-Aṣbahānī Bi-al-Rrī > Muḥammad b. ʿIṣām b. Yazīd from my father > Shuʿbah > Abū al-Tayyāḥ And Qatādah Waḥamzah al-Ḍabbī > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "Abu Tayyah, Qatadah, and Hamzah Ad-Dabbii narrated that they heard Anas ibn Malik saying that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'I have been sent and the Hour is like this,' while he pointed with his two fingers. Qatadah used to say, 'As if he meant the superiority of one over the other.'"  

ابن حبّان:٦٦٤٠ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ بِالرِّيِّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِصَامِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ يُحَدِّثُ

عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ وَقَتَادَةَ وَحَمْزَةَ الضَّبِّيِّ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا» وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبَعَيْهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَقُولُ كَفَضْلِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى

ahmad:13319 – Hāshim > Shuʿbah > Abū al-Tayyāḥ And Qatādah Waḥamzah al-Ḍabbī > Um Samiʿūā Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "I was sent as a Prophet and the Hour (of Judgment) were sent like this." The Prophet ﷺ then pointed with his index and middle fingers, and Qatada used to say, "The superiority of one finger over the other finger."  

أحمد:١٣٣١٩ – حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ وَقَتَادَةَ وَحَمْزَةَ الضَّبِّيِّ أَنَّهُمْ سَمِعُوا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا وَأَشَارَ بِالسَّبَّابَةِ وَالْوُسْطَى وَكَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَقُولُ كَفَضْلِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى  

ahmad:13950 – Hāshim > Shuʿbah > Abū al-Tayyāḥ And Qatādah Waḥamzah al-Ḍabbī > Um Samiʿūā Anas

[Machine] Abi al-Tayyah, Qatadah, and Hamzah al-Dabbiyy heard Anas say about the Prophet ﷺ, "I was sent and the Hour was sent like this," and he gestured with his index finger and middle finger. Qatadah said, "This is the virtue of one over the other."
