The Prophet ﷺ said, "A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah's Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon is better than the world and whatever is in it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A single endeavor in Allah's Cause in the afternoon and in the forenoon is better than the world and whatever is in it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الرَّوْحَةُ وَالْغَدْوَةُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "To guard Muslims from infidels in Allah's Cause for one day is better than the world and whatever is on its surface, and a place in Paradise as small as that occupied by the whip of one of you is better than the world and whatever is on its surface; and a morning's or an evening's journey which a slave (person) travels in Allah's Cause is better than the world and whatever is on its surface."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ رِبَاطُ يَوْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عَلَيْهَا وَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عَلَيْهَا وَالرَّوْحَةُ يَرُوحُهَا الْعَبْدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوِ الْغَدْوَةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عَلَيْهَا

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "A (small) place equal to an area occupied by a whip in Paradise is better than the (whole) world and whatever is in it; and an undertaking (journey) in the forenoon or in the afternoon for Allah's Cause, is better than the whole world and whatever is in it."

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَلَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established." سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ»

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى» قَالَ «وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا يَدُ الْمُعْطِي وَالْيَدُ السُّفْلَى يَدُ السَّائِلِ»

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2755)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

[AI] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that he said: A morning spent in the cause of Allah or an afternoon spent in the cause of Allah is better than the world and everything in it. And the handle of one of you from Paradise is better than the world and everything in it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَلَقَابُ قَوْسِ أَحَدِكُمْ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is a reward for every step taken in the path of Allah, be it a morning or an evening walk." He then mentioned the hadith of Sulaiman ibn Dawood.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فَذَكَرَ يَعْنِي ذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "A person is with the one they love."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعَبْدُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever soils his feet in the cause of Allah, they will be forbidden upon the Hellfire."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَهُمَا حَرَامٌ عَلَى النَّارِ

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2755)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَدْوَةٌ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَلَغَدْوَةٌ يَغْدُوهَا الْعَبْدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

A journey undertaken in the morning or evening (fond Jihad) in the way of Allah (will merit a reward) better than the world and all that is in it. (Using translation from Muslim 1881b)

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ غَدْوَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

“For me to hive a good send-off to a warrior who is going to fight in the cause of Allah, and to guard his goods when he goes out in the morning or evening, is dearer to me than this world and everything in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2824)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَأَنْ أُشَيِّعَ مُجَاهِدًا فِيسَبِيلِ اللهِ فَأَكْتَفَهُ عَلَى رَاحِلَةٍ غَدْوَةً أَوْ رَوْحَةً أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The giving hand is better than the receiving hand."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْيَدُ الْمُعْطِيَةُ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The date and the rock are from Paradise."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْعَجْوَةُ وَالصَّخْرَةُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever touches his sexual organ then let him perform ablution." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 481)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ مَسَّ فَرْجَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

“A place the size of a whip in Paradise is better than this world and everything in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4330)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, Abu An-Nadr said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: A morning spent in the path of Allah is better than the world and everything in it, and a journey in the path of Allah is better than the world and everything in it, and the space of a whip in Paradise is better than the world and everything in it. Abu An-Nadr said: From Paradise is better than the world and everything in it.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَرَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ أَبُو النَّضْرِ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَيْسَ مِنَ امْ بِرِّ امْ صِيَامُ فِي امْ سَفَرِ

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2755)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

"O Ka'b bin Murrah! Relate (something) to is from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and be cautious. He said: 'I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "Whoever develops some gray hair in Islam, it shall be a light from him on the Day of Judgement." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1634)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "The upper hand is better than the lower hand."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Verily, one of the forms of humility towards Allah is being content with lower positions in gatherings."

سَمِعْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ مِنَ التَّوَاضُعِ لِلَّهِ الرِّضَا بِالدُّونِ مِنْ شَرَفِ الْمَجَالِسِ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'Whoever fights to protect his wealth and is killed, he is a martyr.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4084)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «رَوْحَةٌ أَوْ غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ وَغَرَبَتْ»

A journey undertaken in the morning or evening (for Jihad) in the way of Allah is better than (anything) on which the sun rises or sets. (Using translation from Muslim 1883a)

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ ؓ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ وَغَرَبَتْ»
