I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Anyone whose feet are covered with dust in Allah's cause, shall be saved by Allah from the Hell-Fire."

أَدْرَكَنِي أَبُو عَبْسٍ وَأَنَا أَذْهَبُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ

(who is ʿAbdur-Rahman bin Jabir) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said," Anyone whose both feet get covered with dust in Allah's Cause will not be touched by the (Hell) fire."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَا عَبْدٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَتَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ

"Abayah bin Rifa'ah bin Rafi' met me while I was walking to the Friday prayer. He said: 'Have glad tidings, for indeed these footsteps of yours are in the cause of Allah. I heard Abu 'Abs say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever get his two feet dusty in the path of Allah, then they are prohibited for the Fire.'"

أَبْشِرْ فَإِنَّ خُطَاكَ هَذِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْسٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُمَا حَرَامٌ عَلَى النَّارِ

"Abayah bin Rafi' met me when I was walking to Friday prayers, and he said: 'Rejoice, for these steps you are taking are in the cause of Allah. I heard Abu 'Abs say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Anyone whose feet become dusty in the cause of Allah, he will be forbidden to the Fire.'"

أَبْشِرْ فَإِنَّ خُطَاكَ هَذِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْسٍ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَهُوَ حَرَامٌ عَلَى النَّارِ

"uthman bin 'Affan said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A day in the cause of Allah is better than a thousand days doing anything else.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يَوْمٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ يَوْمٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established." سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ يُرِدِ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ»

I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. [AI] The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever dirties his feet in the path of Allah, Allah will forbid him from the Fire."

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ»

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2755)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

Leaving (for Jihad) in the way of Allah in the morning or in the evening (will merit a reward) better than the world and all that is in it. (Using translation from Muslim 1880)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2755)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Woe to the Achilles' tendon because of Hell-fire." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 454)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ غَدْوَةٌ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2755)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَغَدْوَةٌ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

[AI] "He heard the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saying, 'A moment spent in the path of Allah is better than the entire world and everything in it.' Then he mentioned its meaning."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever embarks on a journey in the cause of Allah and has his feet covered with dust, Allah will make them forbidden for the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ حَرَّمَهُمَا اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no protection except in Allah and His Messenger."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no protection except for Allah and His Messenger."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] Narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and be cautious, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever throws an arrow in the cause of Allah, it is as if he has freed a slave."

حَدِّثْنَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَاحْذَرْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِيسَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً

[AI] "Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: Whoever fights in the cause of Allah, above the back of a camel, Allah has prohibited the Fire from touching his face."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ النَّارَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fights so that the word of Allah is the highest, then he is in the way of Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ ﷻ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever dirties his feet in the cause of Allah for an hour during the day, then they are forbidden upon the Fire."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ فَهُمَا حَرَامٌ عَلَى النَّارِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Whoever dirties his feet in the path of Allah, Allah will prohibit the Fire from touching him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is better than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2757)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ غَدْوَةٌ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying while he was on the pulpit: "There is nothing more constant than Allah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِنَّهُ لَا شَيْءَ أَغْيَرُ مِنَ اللهِ ﷻ

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2755)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever is gentle, kind, and close to others, Allah will keep them away from the Hellfire."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ كَانَ هَيِّنًا لَيِّنًا قَرِيبًا حَرَّمَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ»

"O Ka'b bin Murrah! Relate (something) to is from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and be cautious. He said: 'I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "Whoever develops some gray hair in Islam, it shall be a light from him on the Day of Judgement." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1634)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

Ibn Umar heard a man swearing: No, I swear by the Ka'bah. Ibn Umar said to him: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: He who swears by anyone but Allah is polytheist. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3251)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ حَلَفَ بِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَغَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whosoever dirties his feet in the path of Allah, Allah has made forbidden for the Fire to touch them."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَهُمَا اللَّهُ عَلَى النَّارِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allahﷺ saying, "Whoever shoots an arrow in the way of Allah, it is as if he has freed a slave."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no protection (defense) except for Allah and His Messenger."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ»

"I heard the Messenger of Allah [SAW] say: 'Whoever fights to protect his wealth and is killed, he is a martyr.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4084)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, the best deed of a believer is jihad for the sake of Allah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ عَمَلِ الْمُؤْمِنِ الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ»

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., make known to the people his true motives and intentions).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4206)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ رَاءَى رَاءَى اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The station of one of you in the cause of Allah is better than the world and everything in it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَمُقَامُ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

“Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah, or in the evening, is more virtuous than the world and what is in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2755)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Going out in the morning in the cause of Allah is better that the world and what is in it. And the place (the size) of a whip in Paradise is better than the world and what is in it." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1648)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «رِبَاطُ يَوْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَلَقَابُ قَوْسِ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said: "Whoever prays the Fajr prayer, he is under the protection of Allah and his account is upon Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ فَهُوَ فِي ذِمَّةِ اللهِ وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever dies while associating partners with Allah, Allah will make him enter the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَجْعَلُ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ فِي النَّارِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever dies while associating partners with Allah, Allah will make him enter the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَجْعَلُ لِلَّهِ نِدًّا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ فِي النَّارِ»

[AI] From the Prophet, ﷺ , he said: "Whoever dirties his feet in the cause of Allah, Allah will make the Fire forbidden for him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ»

[AI] Does it not bother you that Allah has blessed you with wealth and yet you do not give in charity? He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever withholds his feet from the cause of Allah, Allah will make Hellfire forbidden for him.'"

لَهُ أَلَا تَرْكَبُ إِذْ حَمَلَكَ اللهُ؟ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنِ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah's Cause in the forenoon or in the afternoon is better than the world and whatever is in it." (Using translation from Bukhārī 2792)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ غَدْوَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A morning in the cause of Allah or an evening is better than the worldly life and whatever it contains."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «غُدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "An early morning expedition in the cause of Allah or an evening spent in His cause is better than the world and everything in it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «غُدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ رَوْحَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever associates partners with Allah, has indeed disassociated himself from Allah."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ رَاءَى بِاللهِ لِغَيْرِ اللهِ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنَ اللهِ»
