[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ married her before leaving Mecca for Medina, when she was three years old, or close to that. He consummated the marriage when she was six years old. After his arrival in Medina and when she was nine years old, he built a marital relationship with her.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَهَا قَبْلَ مَخْرَجِهِ مِنْ مَكَّةَ بِثَلَاثِ سِنِينَ أَوْ قَرِيبًا مِنْ ذَلِكَ وَنَكَحَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ بَنَى بِهَا بَعْدَ مَقْدَمِهِ الْمَدِينَةَ وَهِيَ يَوْمَ بِنَائِهَا بِنْتُ تِسْعٍ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ married her when she was seven years old, consummated the marriage when she was nine years old, and passed away while she was eighteen years old.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سَبْعٍ وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعٍ ومَاتَ عَنْهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ»  

Allah's Apostle ﷺ married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old. (Using translation from Muslim 1422b)  

«تَزَوَّجْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ وَبَنَى بِي وَأَنَا بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ»  

"Aishah said: 'The Messenger of Allah married me when I was nine and I lived with him for nine years.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3257)  

«تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِتِسْعِ سِنِينَ وَصَحِبْتُهُ تِسْعًا»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ married her when she was seven years old and consummated the marriage when she was nine.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ سَبْعِ سِنِينَ وَبَنَى بِهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعٍ»  

[Machine] "I was brought to the Prophet ﷺ at the age of nine, and I stayed with him for nine years."  

«أُدْخِلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَنَا بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ وَمَكَثْتُ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعَ سِنِينَ»  

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ married Aisha when she was nine years old and she stayed with him for nine years.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَ عَائِشَةَ وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ وَمَكَثَتْ عِنْدَهُ تِسْعًا»  

[Machine] "The wife of Uthman bin Mazh'un, Khawlah bint Hakim bin Umayyah bin al-Auqas, said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Makkah, 'Why don't you get married?' He asked, 'To whom?' She said, 'If you wish, to a virgin, and if you wish, to a widow.' He asked, 'Who is the virgin?' She said, 'The daughter of the dearest of all Allah's creation to you, Aisha bint Abu Bakr.' He asked, 'And who is the widow?' She said, 'Sawda bint Zam'ah believed in you and followed you upon what you are upon.' He said, 'Go and mention their names to them on my behalf.' So she came and entered the house of Abu Bakr, and found Umm Rumman, the mother of Aisha, and said, 'O Umm Rumman, what has Allah been bestowing upon you regarding goodness and blessing?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has sent me to propose on his behalf to Aisha.' She said, 'Wait for Abu Bakr, for he is about to come.' So Abu Bakr came, and she said, 'O Abu Bakr, what has Allah been bestowing upon you regarding goodness and blessing?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has sent me to propose on his behalf to Aisha.' He said, 'Does he consider her to be suitable for him? She is only the daughter of his brother.' So he returned me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and I informed him of that. He said, 'Go back to him and say: You are my brother in Islam, and I am your brother, and your daughter is suitable for me.' So she went to Abu Bakr and he said to Khawlah, 'Pray for me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' So she went and prayed to him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me on that day, when I was six years old."  

خَوْلَةُ بِنْتُ حَكِيمِ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ الْأَوْقَصِ امْرَأَةُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ وَذَلِكَ بِمَكَّةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَلَا تَزَوَّجُ؟ قَالَ «مَنْ؟» قَالَتْ إِنْ شِئْتَ بِكْرًا وَإِنْ شِئْتَ ثَيِّبًا قَالَ «فَمَنِ الْبِكْرُ؟» قَالَتْ ابْنَةُ أَحَبِّ خَلْقِ اللهِ إِلَيْكَ عَائِشَةُ بِنْتُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ «وَمَنِ الثَّيِّبُ؟» قَالَتْ سَوْدَةُ بِنْتُ زَمْعَةَ آمَنَتْ بِكَ وَاتَّبَعَتْكَ عَلَى مَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ «فَاذْهَبِي فَاذْكُرِيهِمَا عَلَيَّ» فَجَاءَتْ فَدَخَلَتْ بَيْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَوَجَدَتْ أُمَّ رُومَانَ أُمَّ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ يَا أُمَّ رُومَانَ مَاذَا أَدْخَلَ اللهُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَالْبَرَكَةِ؟ أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَخْطِبُ عَلَيْهِ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ وَدِدْتُ انْتَظِرِي أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَإِنَّهُ آتٍ فَجَاءَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَتْ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ مَاذَا أَدْخَلَ اللهُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ وَالْبَرَكَةِ؟ أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَخْطِبُ عَلَيْهِ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ هَلْ تَصْلُحُ لَهُ وَإِنَّمَا هِيَ بِنْتُ أَخِيهِ فَرَجَّعَنِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَ ارْجِعِي إِلَيْهِ فَقُولِي لَهُ أَنْتَ أَخِي فِي الْإِسْلَامِ وَأَنَا أَخُوكَ وَابْنَتُكَ تَصْلُحُ لِي فَأَتَتْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ لِخَوْلَةَ ادْعِي لِي رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَجَاءَ فَأَنْكَحَهُ وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ ابْنَةُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ  

Allah's Apostle ﷺ married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old. (Using translation from Muslim 1422b)  

«تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ وَبَنَى بِي وَأَنَا بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ»  

[Machine] It was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ "married her when she was nine years old, and she passed away when she was eighteen years old."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعٍ وَمَاتَ عَنْهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ»  

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ emigrated, he left behind his daughters. When he settled in Medina, he sent Zaid ibn Harithah and Abu Rafi' with them, giving them two camels and five hundred dirhams, which he had taken from Abu Bakr. They were to buy what they needed for their livelihood. Abu Bakr also sent with them Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr, along with two or three camels. He wrote to Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr to bring his family, including Umm Abi Bakr, Umm Rumman, myself, my brother, and Asma' the wife of Az-Zubayr. They set out together until they reached Qudaid, where Zaid ibn Harithah bought three camels with the five hundred dirhams. They all then entered Makkah together and met Talhah ibn Ubayd Allah, who wanted to migrate. So we all left and Zaid and Abu Rafi' also left with Fatimah and Umm Kulthum, Suhdah bint Zam'ah, and Zaid taking Umm Ayman and her son Ayman, as well as Usamah. They accompanied us until we reached Al-Bayd and one of our camels ran off while I was on it with my mother. My mother started saying, "Woe to my two daughters! Woe to their husbands!" Then our camel was retrieved after it had descended from the incline of Harrasha. May Allah grant peace. We finally reached Madinah, where I stayed with the family of Abu Bakr and the Prophet ﷺ stayed at that time building the mosque and reciting poetry about it. He stayed there for some time before Abu Bakr said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, why don't you build a house for your family?" He said, "As-Sadaqah (charity)" and Abu Bakr gave him 12 ounces of gold and silver as charity, which he sent to us. The Prophet ﷺ then built a house for me, the house in which I am now, and it is the house in which he passed away and was buried. The Prophet ﷺ also admitted Suhdah bint Zam'ah into one of those houses. He used to stay with her sometimes because he was married to her. As for me, I used to play with the young girls and I was not aware that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had married me until my mother took me and confined me to the house. It crossed my mind that I had been married, but I did not ask her about it until she informed me.  

لَمَّا هَاجَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَلَّفَنَا وَخَلَّفَ بَنَاتِهِ فَلَمَّا اسْتَقَرَّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ بَعَثَ زَيْدَ بْنَ حَارِثَةَ وَبَعَثَ مَعَهُ أَبَا رَافِعٍ مَوْلَاهُ وَأَعْطَاهُمَا بَعِيرَيْنِ وَخَمْسَمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ أَخَذَهَا مِنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ يَشْتَرَيَانِ بِهَا مَا يَحَتَاجَانِ إِلَيْهِ مِنَ الظُّهْرِ وَبَعَثَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مَعَهُمَا عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ أُرَيْقِطٍ الدُّؤَلِيَّ بِبَعِيرَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةٍ وَكَتَبَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ أَهْلَهُ أُمَّ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَأُمَّ رُومَانَ وَأَنَا وَأَخِي وَأَسْمَاءُ امْرَأَةُ الزُّبَيْرِ فَخَرَجُوا مُصْحَبِينَ حَتَّى انْتَهَوْا إِلَى قُدَيْدٍ اشْتَرَى زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ بِتِلْكَ الْخَمْسِمِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَبْعِرَةٍ ثُمَّ دَخَلُوا مَكَّةَ جَمِيعًا فَصَادَفُوا طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ يُرِيدُ الْهِجْرَةَ فَخَرَجْنَا جَمِيعًا وَخَرَجَ زَيْدٌ وَأَبُو رَافِعٍ بِفَاطِمَةَ وَأُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ وَسَوْدَةَ بِنْتِ زَمْعَةَ وَحَمَلَ زَيْدٌ أُمَّ أَيْمَنَ وَوَلَدَهَا أَيْمَنَ وَأُسَامَةَ وَاصْطَحَبَنَا حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِالْبيضِ مِنْ نَمِرَ نَفَرَ بَعِيرِي وَأَنَا فِي مِحَفَّةٍ مَعِي فِيهَا أُمِّي فَجَعَلَتْ أُمِّي تَقُولُ وَا ابْنَتَاهُ وَا عَرُوسَاهُ حَتَّى إِذَا أُدْرِكَ بَعِيرُنَا وَقَدْ هَبَطَ مِنَ الثَّنِيَّةِ ثَنِيَّةِ هَرْشَا فَسَلَّمَ اللهُ ثُمَّ إِنَّا قَدِمْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ فَنَزَلْتُ مَعَ عِيَالِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَنَزَلَ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَبْنِي الْمَسْجِدَ وَأَبْيَاتًا حَوْلَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَنْزَلَ فِيهَا أَهْلَهُ فَمَكَثْنَا فِيهَا أَيَّامًا ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا يَمْنَعُكَ أَنْ تَبْتَنِيَ بِأَهْلِكَ؟ قَالَ «الصَّدَاقُ» فَأَعْطَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ اثْنَتَا عَشْرَةَ أُوقِيَّةً وَنَشًّا فَبَعَثَ بِهَا إِلَيْنَا وَبَنَى بِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَيْتِي هَذَا الَّذِي أَنَا فِيهِ وَهُوَ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ وَدُفِنَ فِيهِ وَأَدْخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ سَوْدَةَ بِنْتَ زَمْعَةَ مَعَهُ أَحَدَ تِلْكَ الْبُيُوتِ وَكَانَ يَكُونُ عِنْدَهَا وَكَانَ تَزَوَّجَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِيَّايَ وَأَنَا أَلْعَبُ مَعَ الْجَوَارِي فَمَا حُدِّثْتُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَزَوَّجَنِي حَتَّى أَخَذَتْنِي أُمِّي فَحَبَسَتْنِي فِي الْبَيْتِ فَوَقَعَ فِي نَفْسِي أَنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ فَمَا سَأَلْتُهَا حَتَّى كَانَتْ هِيَ الَّتِي أَخْبَرَتْنِي  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ proposed to Aisha to Abu Bakr, and Abu Bakr had previously married her to Jubayr ibn Mutʿim, but he divorced her, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her while she was six years old. He left her for three years, then consummated the marriage when she was nine years old."  

«خَطَبُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَائِشَةَ إِلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَكَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَدْ زَوَّجَهَا جُبَيْرَ بْنَ مُطْعِمٍ فَخَلَعَهَا مِنْهُ فَزَوَّجَهَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ تَرَكَهَا ثَلَاثَ سِنِينَ ثُمَّ بَنَى بِهَا وَهِيَ بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ»  

[Machine] I served Aisha for the Prophet ﷺ until I brought her to him. When she entered upon him, we were given a bowl of milk and the Prophet ﷺ drank from it. Then he handed it to Aisha, and she refused. I said, "Take from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." So she took from him and drank. Then she handed it to me, and I drank. I made sure to turn the vessel so that it would touch the spot from which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had drunk. Then I handed it to a woman who was with me, and she said, "I don't desire it." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not combine falsehood and hunger."  

أَنَا قَيَّنْتُ عَائِشَةَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَتَّى أَدْخَلْتُهَا عَلَيْهِ فَلَمَّا دَخَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أُتِينَا بِحِلَابٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ نَاوَلَهُ عَائِشَةَ فَأَعْرَضَتْ فَقُلْتُ خُذِي مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخَذَتْ مِنْهُ فَشَرِبَتْ ثُمَّ نَاوَلَتْنِي فَشَرِبْتُ فَجَعَلْتُ أُدِيرُ الْإِنَاءَ لِأَنْ أُصَادِفَ الْمَوْضِعَ الَّذِي شَرِبَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ نَاوَلْتُهُ امْرَأَةً مَعِي فَقَالَتْ لَا أَشْتَهِيهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا تَجْمَعِي كَذِبًا وَجُوعًا»  

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me and I had a sense of modesty. And it means nothing other than that he married me and then shyness overcame me." Sufyan said, "And 'hawf' is a garment made of strips of wool that the bedouins wear."  

«تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَعَلَيَّ حَوْفٌ وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَزَوَّجَنِي أُلْقِيَ عَلَيَّ الْحَيَاءُ» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَالْحَوْفُ ثَوْبٌ مِنْ سُيُورٍ يُلْبِسُهُ الْأَعْرَابُ أَبْنَاءَهَا  

[Machine] "They fed me everything but I did not gain weight. Then they fed me with gourd and dates, and I gained weight."  

«سَمَّنُونِي بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَلَمْ أَسْمَنْ فَسَمَّنُونِي بِالْقِثَّاءِ وَالرُّطَبِ فَسَمِنْتُ»  

[Machine] "When the Prophet ﷺ married me, my family fed me everything, but I did not gain weight. Then, they fed me pumpkin and dates, and I became the best of fattened ones."  

«لَمَّا تَزَوَّجَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ سَمَّنَنِي أَهْلِي بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ فَلَمْ أَسْمَنْ فَأَطْعَمُونِي الْقِثَّاءَ وَالرُّطَبَ فَسَمِنْتُ عَلَيْهِ أَحْسَنَ السِّمَنِ»  

[Machine] "My mother approached me with everything that women typically approach with, but I did not respond to that. So, they fed me pumpkin and dates when they wanted to bring me to the Messenger of Allah. So, I approached him with the best approach."  

«أَقْبَلَتْ عَلَيَّ أُمِّي بِكُلِّ مَا تُقْبَلُ بِهِ النِّسَاءُ فَلَمْ أُجِبْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ فَأَطْعَمُونِي الْقِثَّاءَ وَالتَّمْرَ حِينَ أَرَادُوا أَنْ يَهْدُونِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَقْبَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ أَحْسَنَ إِقْبَالٍ»  

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me and I was brought to him in Shawwal. Which of the Prophet's wives ﷺ was more favored by him than me?" He (the narrator) said, "And she (Aisha) used to like that her (the Prophet's) wives would be brought to him in Shawwal."  

«تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأُدْخِلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي شَوَّالٍ فَأَيُّ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كَانَ أَحْظَى عِنْدَهُ مِنِّي؟» قَالَ وَكَانَتْ تَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ نِسَاؤُهَا فِي شَوَّالٍ  

Allah's Apostle ﷺ married me when I was six years old, and I was admitted to his house when I was nine years old. (Using translation from Muslim 1422b)  

تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ وَبَنَى بِي وَأَنَا بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ وَبَنَى عَلَيَّ فِي شَوَّالٍ فَأَيُّ نِسَائِكُمْ كَانَ أَحْظَى مِنِّي؟ وَكَانَتْ تَسْتَحِبُّ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ نِسَاؤُهَا فِي شَوَّالٍ  

[Machine] She said about those who dislike marriage in the month of Shawwal, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me in Shawwal and I was admitted to him in Shawwal."  

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ فِيمَنْ يَكْرَهُ الزواجَ فِي شَوَّالٍ «تَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي شَوَّالٍ وَأُدْخِلْتُ عَلَيْهِ فِي شَوَّالٍ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Aisha bint Abu Bakr in Shawwal and consummated the marriage with her in Medina during Shawwal, after sixteen months of his migration to Medina. Aisha passed away on the night of Tuesday, in the seventeenth night of Ramadan, after the Witr prayer, in the fifty-eighth year. She was buried on the same night.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «تَزَوَّجَ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فِي شَوَّالٍ وَأَعْرَسَ بِهَا بِالْمَدِينَةِ فِي شَوَّالٍ عَلَى رَأْسِ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا مِنْ مُهَاجَرِهِ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَتُوُفِّيَتْ عَائِشَةُ لَيْلَةَ الثُّلَاثَاءِ لِسَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ مَضَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَخَمْسِينَ وَدُفِنَتْ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهَا»  

[Machine] On the authority of Nafi and others from the people of knowledge, they said: "We performed prayer upon Aisha and Umm Salamah, the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, in the middle of Al-Baqi' cemetery, and Abu Hurayrah was the Imam (leading the prayer) on the day that we prayed upon Aisha. Abdullah ibn Umar attended, and Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr and Abdurrahman ibn Abi Bakr entered the grave of Aisha. She passed away in the year sixty-eight during the month of Ramadan, seventeen nights had passed after the Witr prayer, and she was buried on the same night."  

عَنْ نَافِعٍ وَغَيْرِهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ قَالُوا صَلَّيْنَا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَسَطَ الْبَقِيعِ وَالْإِمَامُ يَوْمَ صَلَّيْنَا عَلَى عَائِشَةَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَحَضَرَ ذَلِكَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَدَخَلَ فِي قَبْرِ عَائِشَةَ عَبْدُ اللهِ وَعُرْوَةُ ابْنَا مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَمَاتَتْ سَنَةَ ثَمَانٍ وَخَمْسِينَ فِي رَمَضَانَ لِسَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ مَضَتْ مِنْهُ بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ وَدُفِنَتْ مِنْ لَيْلَتِهَا  

[Machine] It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ "married Aisha before consummating the marriage."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «اجْتَلَى عَائِشَةَ فِي أَهْلِهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا»  

[Machine] "I was given qualities that no other woman was given, and I was the daughter of six years old. The angel came to him with my image in his hand, and he looked at it and built me. I was nine years old when I saw Gabriel, and no other woman saw him except for me. And I loved his wives more than him, and my father loved his companions more than him. The Messenger of Allah fell ill and I was the one who took care of him, and no one else witnessed it except for me. And the angels."  

أُعْطِيتُ خِصَالًا مَا أُعْطِيَتْهَا امْرَأَةٌ مَلَكَنِي وَأَنَا بِنْتُ سِتِّ سِنِينَ وَأَتَاهُ الْمَلَكُ بِصُورَتِي فِي كَفِّهِ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا وَبَنَى بِي وَأَنَا بِنْتُ تِسْعِ سِنِينَ وَرَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ وَلَمْ تَرَهُ امْرَأَةٌ غَيْرِي وَكُنْتُ أَحَبَّ نِسَائِهِ إِلَيْهِ وَكَانَ أَبِي أَحَبَّ أَصْحَابِهِ إِلَيْهِ وَمَرِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَرْضَتَهُ وَلَمْ تَشْهَدْهُ غَيْرِي وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ  

[Machine] "I was given seven things that were not given to the wives of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. I was the most beloved person to him and he loved me like a father. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me as a virgin and did not marry any other virgin besides me. Gabriel used to come to him with revelations while I was with him under a blanket, and he did not do the same with anyone else. I had two days and nights with him, while his other wives had only one day and night. Then a revelation was sent down allowing him to have more wives. There was a time when I faced a difficult situation and a group of people almost caused my ruin. Then the Prophet ﷺ passed away between my magic spell and my sacrifice."  

أُعْطِيتُ سَبْعًا لَمْ يُعْطَهَا نِسَاءُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كُنْتُ مِنْ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ نَفْسًا وَأَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ أَبًا وَتَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِكْرًا وَلَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْ بِكْرًا غَيْرِي وَكَانَ جِبْرِيلُ يَنْزِلُ عَلَيْهِ بِالْوَحْيِ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فِي لِحَافٍ وَلَمْ يُفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ لِغَيْرِي وَكَانَ لِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَلَيْلَتَيْنِ وَكَانَ لِنِسَائِهِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ وَأَنْزَلَ فِي عُذْرٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ كَادَ أَنْ يَهْلِكَ بِي فِئَامٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَقُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ سَحْرِي وَنَحْرِي  

[Machine] "I have been given six qualities that no woman after Mary has been given. Gabriel came to me in my sleep when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded me to marry him, and he did marry me as a virgin, no one else has married a virgin besides me. And my dowry was revealed from the heavens, and this hadith is also mentioned in a similar way."  

أُعْطِيتُ سِتًّا مَا أُعْطِيَتْهَا امْرَأَةٌ بَعْدَ مَرْيَمَ لَقَدْ نَزَلَ جِبْرِيلُ بِصُورَتِي فِي رَاحَتِهِ حِينَ أَمَرَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَنِي وَلَقَدْ تَزَوَّجَنِي بِكْرًا لَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْ بِكْرًا غَيْرِي وَلَقَدْ نَزَلَ عُذْرِي مِنَ السَّمَاءِ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ مِثْلَهُ  

[Machine] "There was no man who had a preference over women except for what Allah granted Maryam bint Imran. And by Allah, I do not say this to boast or exalt myself above my companions." Then Abdullah bin Safwan said to her, "Who are they, O Mother of the Believers?" She said, "The angel came to me in my image and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me for seven years. I presented myself to him for nine years. He did not marry anyone before me, and revelation came to him while I was with him under the same blanket. I was the dearest person to him and his daughter was the dearest person to me. I received revelations from the Qur'an, and the nation was on the verge of destruction because of me. I saw Jibril, and no one from his wives saw him except for me. He passed away in my house, and no one saw him except for me and the angel."  

«خِلَالٌ فِيَّ سَبْعٌ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي أَحَدٍ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ إِلَّا مَا أَتَى اللهُ مَرْيَمَ بِنْتَ عِمْرَانَ وَاللهِ مَا أَقُولُ هَذَا فَخْرًا عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ صَوَاحِبِي» فَقَالَ لَهَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ وَمَا هُنَّ يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ؟ قَالَتْ «نَزَلَ الْمَلَكُ بِصُورَتِي وَتَزَوَّجَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِسَبْعِ سِنِينَ وَأُهْدِيتُ إِلَيْهِ لِتِسْعِ سِنِينَ وَتَزَوَّجَنِي بِكْرًا لَمْ يَشْرُكْهُ فِيَّ أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَكَانَ الْوَحْيُ يَأْتِيهِ وَأَنَا وَهُوَ فِي لِحَافٍ وَاحِدٍ وَكُنْتُ أَحَبَّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ وَبِنْتَ أَحَبِّ النَّاسِ إِلَيْهِ وَقَدْ نَزَلَ فِيَّ آيَاتٍ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَقَدْ كَادَتِ الْأُمَّةُ تَهْلِكُ فِيَّ وَرَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ وَلَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ غَيْرِي وَقُبِضَ فِي بَيْتِي لَمْ يَلِهِ أَحَدٌ غَيْرِي وَالْمَلَكُ»  

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that Isa bin Yunus narrated from Umar bin Sa'id, from Ibn Abi Mulaykah, that Abu Amr Dhwakwan, the servant of Aisha, informed him that Aisha said, "Indeed, one of the blessings that Allah bestowed upon me was that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away in my house, on my day, between my prayer time and sacrifice time. And Allah joined my saliva with his saliva at the time of his death." She said, "My brother, Abdurrahman, entered upon me while I was leaning the Messenger of Allah ﷺ against my chest, and he had a tooth stick in his hand. He started looking at it, so I said to him, 'Shall I get it for you?' He nodded with his head, indicating yes. So, I took it for him and gave it to him. Then, he ordered me to turn him towards his side, and there was a vessel or a container of water in front of him. He started putting his hand in it and wiping his face with it, saying, 'There is no god but Allah. Indeed, death has its agonies.' Then, he poured the water on his hand and said, 'In the highest companion.' He repeated this until he passed away and his hand fell."  

ثنا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا عَمْرٍو ذَكْوَانَ مَوْلَى عَائِشَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ إِنَّ مِمَّا أَنْعَمَ اللهُ عَلَيَّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «قُبِضَ فِي بَيْتِي وَيَوْمِي وَبَيْنَ سَحْرِي وَنَحْرِي» وَإِنَّ اللهَ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ رِيقِي وَرِيقِهِ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ أَخِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَأَنَا مُسْنِدَةٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى صَدْرِي وَبِيَدِهِ سِوَاكٌ فَجَعَلَ يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ آخُذُهُ لَكَ فَأَوْمَأَ بِرَأْسِهِ أَنْ نَعَمْ فَلَيَّنْتُهُ لَهُ ثُمَّ نَاوَلْتُهُ فَأَمَرَّهُ عَلَى ثَغْرِهِ وَبَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ رَكْوَةٌ أَوْ قَالَتْ عُلْبَةٌ فِيهَا مَاءٌ فَجَعَلَ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِيهَا ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ بِهَا وَجْهَهُ وَيَقُولُ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ إِنَّ لِلْمَوْتِ لَسَكَرَاتٍ» ثُمَّ يَصُبُّ عَلَى يَدِهِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «فِي الرَّفِيقِ الْأَعْلَى» حَتَّى قُبِضَ وَمَالَتْ يَدُهُ ﷺ  

[Machine] From the blessings of Allah upon me and His good favors, it is that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away in my house, on my day, and he was buried between my magic and my sacrifice, and his saliva and mine were gathered on the day he passed away." So I said to her, "This happened in your house, on your day, between your magic and your sacrifice. So how were your saliva and his gathered?" She said, "Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Bakr came to me on the morning of Monday with a wet tooth stick in his hand, and I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ looking at it with his gaze fixed on it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was fond of using the tooth stick." So I said, "Swear by it and let me have it," so he divided it into two and I took one part of it. I softened it and then I put it in the mouth of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he used it for brushing his teeth. This is how our saliva and his were gathered.  

«مِنْ نِعْمَةِ اللهِ عَلَيَّ وَبَلَائِهِ الْحَسَنِ عِنْدِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تُوُفِّيَ فِي بَيْتِي وَفِي يَوْمِي وَقُبِضَ بَيْنَ سَحْرِي وَنَحْرِي وَجُمِعَ بَيْنَ رِيقِي وَرِيقِهِ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ» قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَهَا هَذَا فِي بَيْتِكِ وَفِي يَوْمِكِ وَبَيْنَ سَحْرِكِ وَنَحْرِكِ فَكَيْفَ جُمِعَ بَيْنَ رِيقِكِ وَرِيقِهِ؟ قَالَتْ «دَخَلَ عَلَيُّ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ غَدَاةَ يَوْمِ الِإثْنَيْنِ وَفِي يَدِهِ سِوَاكٌ رَطْبٌ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ شَاخِصًا بِبَصَرِهِ إِلَيْهِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُولَعُ بِالسِّوَاكِ» فَقُلْتُ «اقْسِمْهُ وَنَاوِلْنِيهِ» فَقَسَمَهُ بِاثْنَيْنِ وَنَاوَلَنِيهِ فَمَضَغْتُهُ أُلَيِّنُهُ ثُمَّ أَدْخَلْتُهُ فِي فِيِّ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَتَسَوَّكَ بِهِ وَجُمِعَ بَيْنَ رِيقِي وَرِيقِهِ  

[Machine] She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a headache on that day when he returned from the mosque, so he laid down in my lap. A man from the family of Abu Bakr entered with a green tooth stick in his hand. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ looked at it and I understood that he wanted it. So, I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, would you like me to give you this tooth stick?' He said, 'Yes.' Then, I took it and chewed it until it softened, and then I gave it to him. He started using it, vigorously brushing his teeth with it, more than what I had seen him do with any tooth stick before. Then, he put it down and I noticed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was feeling heavier on my lap. So, I went to look at his face, and I saw that his sight had become fixed, and he was saying, 'No, rather the highest companion in Paradise.' So, I said, 'You have been given a choice and you have chosen, by the One who sent you with the truth!' And then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away."  

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ وَجِعَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ حِينَ رَجَعَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَاضْطَجَعَ فِي حِجْرِي فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَفِي يَدِهِ سِوَاكٌ أَخْضَرُ قَالَتْ فَنَظَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي يَدِهِ نَظَرًا فَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّهُ يُرِيدُهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ تُحِبُّ أَنْ أُعْطِيَكَ هَذَا السِّوَاكَ؟ قَالَ «نَعَمْ» قَالَتْ فَأَخَذْتُهُ فَمَضَغْتُهُ لَهُ حَتَّى أُلَيِّنَهُ ثُمَّ أَعْطَيْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ فَاسْتَنَّ بِهِ كَأَشَدَّ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ يَسْتَنُّ بِسِوَاكٍ قَبْلَهُ ثُمَّ وَضَعَهُ وَوَجَدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَثْقُلُ فِي حِجْرِي فَذَهَبْتُ أَنْظُرُ فِي وَجْهِهِ فَإِذَا بَصَرُهُ قَدْ شَخَصَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «بَلِ الرَّفِيقُ الْأَعْلَى مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ» فَقُلْتُ خُيِّرْتَ فَاخْتَرْتَ وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ قَالَتْ وَقُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ  

[Machine] She said, "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was about to pass away, he leaned his back against me. Abdullah bin Abi Bakr came in with a tooth stick in his hand. The Prophet ﷺ asked for it and I took the tooth stick and softened it, then I gave it to him. He started using it while saying, 'O Allah, in the highest companionship.' Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away while he was between my magic and my jugular vein."  

أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حِينَ قُبِضَ مُسْنِدٌ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَيَّ فَدَخَلَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَفِي يَدِهِ سِوَاكٌ فَدَعَا بِهِ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَأَخَذْتُ السِّوَاكَ فَلَيَّنْتُهُ ثُمَّ دَفَعْتُهُ إِلَيْهِ فَجَعَلَ يَسْتَنُّ بِهِ فَثَقُلَتْ يَدُهُ وَثَقُلُ عَلَيَّ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ فِي الرَّفِيقِ» الْأَعْلَى قَالَتْ ثُمَّ قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ بَيْنَ سَحْرِي وَنَحْرِي  

[Machine] I heard Aisha say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away on my day, in my house, between my chest and his chest, and Allah gathered his saliva with mine." She said, "Abdul Rahman entered with a tooth stick, and the hand of the Prophet ﷺ became weak, so I took it and chewed it, and then I rubbed it with it."  

سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ «تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي يَوْمِي وَفِي بَيْتِي وَبَيْنَ سَحْرِي وَنَحْرِي وَجَمَعَ اللهُ بَيْنَ رِيقِي وَرِيقِهِ» قَالَتْ «دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بِسِوَاكٍ فَضَعُفَتْ يَدُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخَذْتُهُ فَمَضَغْتُهُ ثُمَّ سَنَنْتُهُ بِهِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ died between my arms and chest. After seeing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ die while he had a cup of water in which he would put his hand and wipe his face with the water, I will never dislike the severity of death for anyone. Then he said, "O Allah, assist me in the agony of death."  

مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ حَافِنَتِي وَدَافِنَتِي فَلَا أَكْرَهُ شِدَّةَ الْمَوْتِ لِأَحَدٍ أَبَدًا بَعْدَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَمُوتُ وَعِنْدَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهِ مَاءٌ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ فِي الْقَدَحِ ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ وَجْهَهُ بِالْمَاءِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «اللهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ»  

[Machine] I heard Aisha say, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing with a white horse. He held the reins of his horse, and when he came to me, I asked, "Who is the owner of the horse?" He replied, "And did you see him?" I said, "Yes." He asked, "Who does he resemble?" I said, "Dihyah ibn Khalifah al-Kalbi." He said, "That is Jibril (Gabriel), and he is conveying greetings to you." I said, "And who sent him?" He replied, "He was sent by Allah, and peace be upon you and him."  

سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ تَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَائِمًا مَعَ صَاحِبِ فَرَسٍ أَبْيَضَ أَخَذَ بِمَعْرِفَةِ فَرَسِهِ فَلَمَّا أَتَانِي قُلْتُ مَنْ صَاحِبُ الْفَرَسِ؟ قَالَ «وَقَدْ رَأَيْتِيهِ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «وَمَنْ يُشْبِهُهُ؟» قُلْتُ دِحْيَةُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ الْكَلْبِيُّ قَالَ «ذَاكَ جِبْرِيلُ وَهُوَ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ» قُلْتُ وَعَلَى مَنْ أَرْسَلَهُ وَعَلَيْكَ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ  

[Machine] I saw the Prophet ﷺ with a man wearing a turban and a cloak that was tightened from behind. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ put his hand on the shoulder of the man wearing the turban, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah, who is this?" He said, "Did you also see him?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Who is he?" I said, "Dihyah Al-Kalbi." He said, "That is Gabriel, ﷺ ."  

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ رَجُلٌ عَلَى بِرْذَوْنٍ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ قَدْ شَدَّ لَهَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَاضِعٌ يَدَهُ عَلَى مَعْرِفَةِ الْبِرْذَوْنِ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ «وَرَأَيْتِيهِ؟» قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «مَنْ هُوَ؟» قُلْتُ دِحْيَةُ الْكَلْبِيُّ قَالَ «ذَاكَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ»  

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ told me, "O Aisha, this is Gabriel conveying peace upon you." So, I said, "Peace be upon him and the mercy of Allah and His blessings."  

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ» فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to her, "This is Gabriel, and he is reciting peace upon you." So I said, "And ﷺ and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. You see those whom we do not see."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا «هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ» فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ تَرَى مَنْ لَا نَرَى  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is Jibril greeting you with peace." So I said, "And may peace, mercy, and blessings be upon him."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ» فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ  

[Machine] To me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is Jibril, he is conveying peace upon you." So I responded, "And peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon him."  

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ» فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ  

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I saw you speaking to the dog's owner and putting your hand on the horse's mane to recognize it." He said, "Did you see him?" I said, "Yes." He said, "That is Gabriel, and he is greeting you with peace." I said, "And peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon him from a friend and a guest." He said, "What a good friend and what a good guest."  

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ رَأَيْتُكَ تُكَلِّمُ دِحْيَةَ الْكَلْبِيَّ وَيَدَكَ عَلَى مَعْرِفَةِ الْفَرَسِ فَقَالَ «رَأَيْتِيهِ؟» فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ «ذَاكَ جِبْرِيلُ وَهُوَ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ» فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ مِنْ صَاحِبٍ وَدَخِيلٍ فَنِعْمَ الصَّاحِبُ وَنِعْمَ الدَّخِيلُ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Aisha, Gabriel is conveying greetings of peace upon you." I said, "And ﷺ , and the mercy of Allah and His blessings."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا عَائِشَةُ جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ» قُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to Aisha, "This is Jibreel, he greets you with peace.” Aisha replied to him saying, "And may peace, blessings, and mercy of Allah be upon him."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِعَائِشَةَ «هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ» فَقَالَتْ لَهُ عَائِشَةُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said to her, 'Gabriel conveys greetings from your Lord to you.' She replied, 'And peace be upon my Lord, and from Him is peace, and peace be upon Gabriel.'"  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا «جِبْرِيلُ يُقْرِئُكِ مِنْ رَبِّكِ السَّلَامَ» قَالَتْ قُلْتُ فَلِرَبِّي السَّلَامُ وَمِنْهُ السَّلَامُ وَعَلَى جِبْرِيلَ السَّلَامُ  

[Machine] Gabriel sought permission from the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Who is this with you?" He replied, "Aisha." Gabriel then said, "Convey my greetings to her." He said, "Bakh Bakh, O Aisha! This is Gabriel conveying his greetings to you."  

اسْتَأْذَنَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ مَنْ هَذِهِ عِنْدَكَ؟ قَالَ «عَائِشَةُ» قَالَ فَأَقْرِئْهَا مِنِّي السَّلَامَ قَالَ «بَخٍ بَخٍ يَا عَائِشَةُ هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ»  

[Machine] While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in the house, a man on a horse entered and the Prophet ﷺ stood up. Then he returned and I said, "O Messenger of Allah, who is this?" He said, "This is Gabriel and he commanded me to greet you with peace." So I said, "Return my greetings to him, ﷺ from me, and the mercy and blessings of Allah."  

بَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَالِسٌ فِي الْبَيْتِ إِذْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَجُلٌ عَلَى فَرَسٍ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ ثُمَّ رَجَعَ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ «هَذَا جِبْرِيلُ وَقَدْ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَقْرَأَ عَلَيْكِ السَّلَامَ» فَقُلْتُ أَرْجِعْ إِلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ إِلَيْهِ مِنِّي السَّلَامُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ  

[Machine] "When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished dealing with the confederates, he entered a bathhouse to perform ablution. Then Gabriel came and said, 'O Muhammad, you have laid down your weapons, but we have not laid down ours. Go to the Banu Qurayzah.' Aisha said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I saw him with disheveled hair and dust on his head.'"  

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ دَخَلَ مُغْتَسِلًا يَغْتَسِلُ» فَجَاءَ جِبْرِيلُ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ قَدْ وَضَعْتُمْ أَسْلِحَتَكُمْ مَا وَضَعْنَا أَسْلِحَتَنَا بَعْدُ اذْهَبْ إِلَى بَنِي قُرَيْظَةَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهُ مِنْ خَلَلِ التُّرَابِ قَدْ عَصَبَ التُّرَابُ رَأْسَهُ  

[Machine] "It was revealed to the Prophet ﷺ while I was with him, and I closed the door between me and him. When it was lifted from him, he said, 'O Aisha, Gabriel ﷺ is greeting you.'"  

أُوحِيَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فَأَجَفْتُ الْبَابَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ فَلَمَّا رُفِعَ عَنْهُ قَالَ «يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ يُقْرِئُكِ السَّلَامَ»  

[Machine] "To me, the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'Indeed, death becomes easy for me. I have been shown you as my wife in Paradise.'"  

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّهُ لَيُهَوِّنُ عَلَيَّ الْمَوْتَ إِنِّي أُرِيتُكِ زَوْجَتِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ»  

[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, who are your spouses in Paradise?" He said, "Indeed, you are one of them" or he said, "Indeed, you are from them." It occurred to me that this was because he did not marry a virgin other than me.  

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَنْ أَزْوَاجُكَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّكِ مِنْهُمْ» أَوْ قَالَ «أَمَا إِنَّكِ مِنْهُمْ» فَخُيِّلَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ لِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَتَزَوَّجْ بِكْرًا غَيْرِي  

[Machine] "She is the wife of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , in this world and the Hereafter."  

«إِنَّهَا زَوْجَةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ»
