Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to practice Iʿtikaf in the last ten days of the month of Ramadan.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

Seek Lailat-ul-Qadr in the last week (of Ramadan).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ

Seek it (Lailat-ul-Qadr) in the last (ten nights). If one among you shows slackness and weakness (in the earlier part of Ramadan), it should not be allowed to prevail upon him in the last week.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَإِنْ ضَعُفَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ عَجَزَ فَلاَ يُغْلَبَنَّ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي

He who is anxious to seek it (Lailat-ul-Qadr) should seek it in the last ten (nights of Ramadan).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَ مُلْتَمِسَهَا فَلْيَلْتَمِسْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ

Seek the time of Lailat-ul-Qadr in the last (ten nights), or he said: in the last nine (nights).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَحَيَّنُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ أَوْ قَالَ فِي التِّسْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ

Look for (and in the words of Waki, seek) Lailat-ul-Qadr in the last ten nights of Ramadan.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ الْتَمِسُوا وَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to observe i'tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

This hadith has been narrated by 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) through another chain of transmitters.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Seek lailat al-qadr in the last seven days.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Seek lailat al-qadr in the last seven days. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1385)

إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ»

ʿUmar said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever among you is seeking Lailatul Qadr, let him seek it in the odd-numbered nights of the last ten days of Ramadan.ʿ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مُلْتَمِسًا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِفَلْيَلْتَمِسْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وِتْرًا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Seek Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree) in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِيالْعَشْرِ الْغَوَابِرِ فِي التِّسْعِ الْغَوَابِرِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seek out Laylat al-Qadr on the last seven nights of the month of Ramadan."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is seeking something, let them seek it in the last ten days (of Ramadan). And if they are unable or weak, then do not give up in the remaining seven."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ مُلْتَمِسًا فَلْيَلْتَمِسْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ فَإِنْ عَجَزَ أَوْ ضَعُفَ فَلَا يُغْلَبْ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي

[AI] The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Whoever seeks it, let him seek it in the last ten days (of Ramadan). And if he is weak or unable, then he should not miss the remaining seven days."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ مُلْتَمِسَهَا فَلْيَلْتَمِسْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فَإِنْ عَجَزَ أَوْ ضَعُفَفَلَا يُغْلَبْ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي

Seek it (Lailat-ul-Qadr) in the last (ten nights). If one among you shows slackness and weakness (in the earlier part of Ramadan), it should not be allowed to prevail upon him in the last week. (Using translation from Muslim 1165e)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَإِنْ ضَعُفَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ عَجَزَ فَلَا يُغْلَبَنَّ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي

[AI] Regarding the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever has been seeking Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power), let him seek it in the last ten nights (of Ramadan)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَ مُلْتَمِسًا فَلْيَلْتَمِسْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ

[AI] From the Prophetﷺ he said: "Whoever among you is seeking, let him seek in the last ten nights (of Ramadan). And if one of you weakens or is overwhelmed, let him not be overwhelmed by the remaining seven nights."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ مُلْتَمِسًا فَلْيَلْتَمِسْ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وَإِنْ ضَعُفَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ غُلِبَ فَلَا يُغْلَبْ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Seek lailat al-qadr in the last seven days. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1385)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Seek Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power) in the last ten nights [of Ramadan]."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "The Night of Qadr is on the twenty-fourth night."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ أَرْبَعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to retreat in seclusion during the last ten nights and would say, "Seek Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Power) in the last ten nights."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَعْتَكِفُ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وَيَقُولُ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ يَعْنِي لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Seek out the Night of Decree in the last ten nights of Ramadan."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Seek Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Decree) in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْوَتْرِ مِنَ الْعَشْرِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seek Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power) during the last ten nights of Ramadan."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَحَرُّوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to observe i'tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan. (Using translation from Muslim 1171a)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَعْتَكِفُ الْعَشْرَ الْأَوَاخِرَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

Ziyad related to me from Malik from Hisham ibn Urwa from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Search for Laylat al-Qadr in the last ten days of Ramadan."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

The Messenger of Allahﷺ said, "Seek out the Night of Qadr during the last ten nights of Ramadan, and if one of you weakens or becomes unable, let him not be overwhelmed by the remaining seven nights."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وَإِنْ ضَعُفَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ عَجَزَ فَلَا يُغْلَبَنَّ عَنِ السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "I was shown the Night of Al-Qadr (Decree) but then my family disturbed me and I forgot it, so seek it in the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أُرِيتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ ثُمَّ أَيْقَظَنِي أَهْلِي فَنَسِيتُهَا فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْغَوَابِرِ»

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: Lailat al-qadr is the twenty-seventh night (of Ramadan) (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1386)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ ذَكَرَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَقَالَ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فِي وِتْرٍ مِنْهَا

عَنِ النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Night of Al-Qadr is on the twenty-fourth night."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ أَرْبَعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Seek Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Decree) in the last ten nights of Ramadan.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اطْلُبُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Seek the Night of Decree in the last ten nights (of Ramadan)."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «اطْلُبُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Look for the Night of Qadr in the last ten nights (of Ramadan)."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ»

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Seek Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree) in the last ten nights of Ramadan."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اطْلُبُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on the pulpit during Ramadan and said, "I have stood on this pulpit and I know the Night of Qadr. So seek it in the last ten nights, on the odd nights."

قَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَخَطَبَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ «قَدْ قُمْتُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ وَأَنَا أَعْلَمُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْوِتْرِ»

[AI] He informed him that he saw the Prophet ﷺ and that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "As for the Night of Qadr, seek it in the last ten odd nights [of Ramadan]."

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَمَّا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ وِتْرًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the pulpit and said, "I had a vision of the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), and I was aware of it but then I forgot it. So seek it in the last ten nights, in the odd nights."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَقِيَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ «رَقِيتُ عَلَيْهِ وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَأُنْسِيتُهَا فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فِي الْوِتْرِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ascended the pulpit and said, "I saw the Night of Decree, but then I forgot it. Seek it in the last ten odd nights."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَقِيَ الْمِنْبَرَ فَقَالَ «رَقِيتُ وَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فَأُنْسِيتُهَا فَالْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فِي وِتْرٍ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said about the Night of Qadr, "It is on the twenty-seventh."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ «سَبْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ»

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Seek out the Night of Decree on the twenty-seventh night."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْتَمِسُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةَ سَبْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Seek out the Night of Decree in the last ten nights of Ramadan."

رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seek Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree) in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan."

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ تَحَرَّوْا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْوِتْرِ مِنَ الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : "In the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr), seek it during the last ten nights of Ramadan. If one of you is weak or unable, let them not be overwhelmed by the remaining seven nights."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ تَحَرَّوْهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فَإِنْ ضَعُفَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَوْ عَجَزَ فَلَا يَغْلِبَنَّ عَلَى السَّبْعِ الْبَوَاقِي

"اطلبُوا ليلةَ القدرِ في العْشرِ الأواخرِ مِنْ رمضانَ".

"التمسوا ليلةَ القدرِ في العَشْر الأواخِرِ من رمضانَ: في وَتْرٍ، فَإنِّي قَدْ رَأيتُها فنسيتُها".

"الِتْمَسُوا ليلة القدْرِ في العشرِ الأواخِرِ من رمضانَ".

"الْتَمِسُوا لَيلةَ القدرِ ليلةَ سبعٍ وعشرين" .

"التمسوا ليلة القدرِ في العشرِ الأواخرِ من رمضان وترًا" .
