"O Ka'b bin Murrah! Relate (something) to is from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and be cautious. He said: 'I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "Whoever develops some gray hair in Islam, it shall be a light from him on the Day of Judgement."

حَدِّثْنَا عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَاحْذَرْ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الإِسْلاَمِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever develops some gray hair in the cause of Allah, it shall be a light for him in the Day of Judgement.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

"O 'Amr! Tell us a Hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever develops one gray hair in the cause of Allah, Most High, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, Most High, whether it reaches the enemy or not, it will be as if he freed a slave. Whoever frees a believing slave, it will be a ransom for him from the Fire, limb by limb.'"

حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى بَلَغَ الْعَدُوَّ أَوَلَمْ يَبْلُغْ كَانَ لَهُ كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً كَانَتْ لَهُ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ

"I said: 'O 'Amr bin 'Abasah! Tell us a Hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ without forgetting or omitting anything.' He said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, and it reaches the enemy, whether it misses or hits, it will be as if he freed slave. Whoever frees a believing slave, that will be a ransom for him, limb by limb, from the Fire of Hell. Whoever develops a gray hair in the cause of Allah, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection."

حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْسَ فِيهِ نِسْيَانٌ وَلاَ تَنَقُّصٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَبَلَغَ الْعَدُوَّ أَخْطَأَ أَوْ أَصَابَ كَانَ لَهُ كَعِدْلِ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً كَانَ فِدَاءُ كُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever soils his feet in the cause of Allah, they will be forbidden upon the Hellfire."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ اغْبَرَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَهُمَا حَرَامٌ عَلَى النَّارِ

[AI] Narrated by Amr, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever frees a Muslim slave, his emancipation will be his ransom from the Fire on the Day of Resurrection, limb by limb. And whoever bears white hair in the cause of Allah, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, and it reaches its target or misses, it will be for him as if he freed a slave from the descendants of Isma'il."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُسْلِمَةً كَانَتْ فِكَاكَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فَبَلَغَفَأَصَابَ أَوْ أَخْطَأَ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever frees a slave, Allah will free every organ of their body from the Hellfire. And whoever shoots an arrow in the way of Allah, whether it reaches its target or not, they will be rewarded as if they have freed a slave. And whoever grows gray hair in the way of Allah, they will have light on the Day of Resurrection."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَا زِيَادَةَ فِيهِ وَلَا نُقْصَانَ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً أَعْتَقَ اللهُ بِكُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهَا عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ بَلَغَ أَوْ قَصَّرَ كَانَ عِدْلَ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] Narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and be cautious, he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever throws an arrow in the cause of Allah, it is as if he has freed a slave."

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever develops some gray hair in the cause of Allah, it shall be a light for him in the Day of Judgement. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1635)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

"O Ka'b bin Murrah! Relate (something) to is from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and be cautious. He said: 'I heard the Prophet ﷺ say: "Whoever develops some gray hair in Islam, it shall be a light from him on the Day of Judgement." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1634)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "Do not pluck out gray hair, as it will be a light on the Day of Judgment. And whoever has gray hair in Islam, good deeds will be written for him because of it, and his sins will be forgiven through it, and he will be elevated in rank because of it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَنْتِفُوا الشَّيْبَ فَإِنَّهُ نُورٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كُتِبَ لَهُ بِهَا حَسَنَةٌ وَحُطَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ وَرُفِعَ لَهُ بِهَا دَرَجَةٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allahﷺ saying, "Whoever shoots an arrow in the way of Allah, it is as if he has freed a slave."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ عِنْدَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّ رِجَالًا يَنْتِفُونَ الشَّيْبَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَنْتِفْ نُورَهُ

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ من راح روحة يعني في سبيل الله كان له أحسبه قال ما أصابه من الغبار مسكا يوم القيامة

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ من رمى بسهم في سبيل الله كان له نورا يوم القيامة

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever becomes gray-haired in Islam, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection." And I will not change my gray hair.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مِنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» وَمَا أَنَا بِمُغَيِّرٍ شَيْبَتِي

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever is entrusted with gold or silver and does not spend it in the way of Allah, it will be a burning coal for them on the Day of Resurrection."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أُوكِيَ عَلَى ذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ وَلَمْ يُنْفِقْهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ جَمْرًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُكْوَى بِهِ»

[AI] "The first person to throw an arrow in the cause of Allah was Sa'd."

«أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ سَعْدٌ»

[AI] The first person to throw an arrow in the way of Allah was Saad.

«أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ سَعْدٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The station of one of you in the cause of Allah is better than the world and everything in it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَمُقَامُ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever dies without associating anything with Allah will enter Paradise."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

[AI] He heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Whoever grows gray hair in the way of Allah will have light on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever shoots an arrow in the way of Allah, whether it be successful or not, will have a reward like the neck of a slave from the descendants of Isma'il."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَخْطَأَ أَوْ أَصَابَ كَانَ لَهُ بِمِثْلِ رَقَبَةٍ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ»

[AI] "The first to throw an arrow for the sake of Allah was Sa'd."

«أَوَّلُ مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ سَعْدٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever grows grey hair in Islam, it will be a light for him on the Day of Resurrection." So a man said, "There are men who pluck out grey hair." He replied, "Whoever wishes may pluck out his grey hair or his light."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ إِنَّ رِجَالًا يَنْتِفُونَ الشَّيْبَ فَقَالَ مَنْ شَاءَ نَتَفَ شَيْبَهُ أَوْ قَالَ نُورَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "Whoever grows grey hair in Islam will have light on the Day of Resurrection, and whoever throws an arrow in the path of Allah, his rank will be elevated by it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ رُفِعَ لَهُ بِهِ دَرَجَةً»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever dies while not associating anything with Allah, Paradise is guaranteed for him."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ»

"O 'Amr! Tell us a Hadith that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." He said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Whoever develops one gray hair in the cause of Allah, Most High, it will be light for him on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever shoots an arrow in the cause of Allah, Most High, whether it reaches the enemy or not, it will be as if he freed a slave. حَدِّثْنَا حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَبَلَغَ الْعَدُوَّ أَوْ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ كَانَ لَهُ كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ وَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً مُؤْمِنَةً كَانَتْ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عُضْوًا بِعُضْوٍ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever goes gray in Islam will have a light on the Day of Judgment, and whoever throws an arrow in the cause of Allah is like freeing a slave."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي الْإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ كَعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ

"مَنْ بَلَغَ العدُوَّ بِسَهْمٍ رَفَعَهُ اللهُ بِهِ دَرَجَةً، بَينَ الدَّرَجَتَينِ مِائَةُ عَام وَمَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سبِيل الله كَان كمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً".

"مَنْ رَمَى بسَهْم في سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَقَصَّرَ أَوْ أَبْلَغَ ، كَانَ ذَلكَ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ".

"مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْم في سَبِيلِ الله كَانَ كَمَنْ أَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً".

"مَنْ شَابَ شَيبَةً في الإِسْلام كَانَتْ لَه نُورًا يَوْمَ القِيَامَة".

"مَنْ شَابَ شَيبَةً في سَبِيلِ الله كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ".

"مَنْ شَابَ شَيبَةً في سَبيلِ الله كَانَتْ له نورًا يَومَ القِيَامَةِ، قِيل: فإِنَّ رِجَالًا ينتهون الشِّيبَ؟ قَال: مَن شَاءَ فَليَنْتِف نُورَهُ".

"مَنْ شَابَ شَيبَةً في الإِسْلامِ، كانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ رَمى بِسَهْمٍ في سَبِيلِ الله بَلَغَ العَدُوَّ أَوْ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ كانَ لَهُ كعِتْقِ رَقَبَةٍ، وَمَن أَعْتَقَ رَقَبة مُؤمِنَةً كَانَتْ فِدَاءَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ".

"مَنْ شَابَ شَيبَةً في الإِسلامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ رَمَى بسَهْمٍ في سَبيل الله رَفَعَ اللهُ لَهُ بهَا دَرَجَةً".

"مَنْ شَابَ شَيبَةً في الإِسْلامِ كَانَت لَهُ نُورًا مَا لَمْ يُغيِّرْهَا".

" لَا تَنْتفُوا الشَّيْبَ فَإِنَّهُ نُورُ الإِسْلَامِ، مَا مِن مُسْلِمٍ يَشِيبُ شَيْبَةً في الإِسْلَا إِلَّا كَانَتْ له نُورًا يومَ الْقِيَامَةِ".

"عن مجاهد قال: قال عمر بن الخطاب: مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةٌ فِى الإِسْلَامِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ".
