tabarani:1641 – Muḥammad b. ʿUthmān b. Abū Shaybah from my father

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever is entrusted with gold or silver and does not spend it in the way of Allah, it will be a burning coal for them on the Day of Resurrection."  

الطبراني:١٦٤١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ وَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي بِخَطِّهِ ثنا مُسْتَلِمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّ أَبَا ذَرًّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أُوكِيَ عَلَى ذَهَبٍ أَوْ فِضَّةٍ وَلَمْ يُنْفِقْهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ جَمْرًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يُكْوَى بِهِ»

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَابَ شَيْبَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَانَتْ لَهُ نُورًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»
