The Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for Ashama, the Negus, with four Takbir.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered prayer for Ashama, the Negus, and recited four takbirs.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed prayer on the grave.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرٍ

It was narrated from ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for ‘Uthman bin Maz’un, and he said four Takbir over him.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

It was narrated from Anas that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer at a grave after the burial.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرٍ بَعْدَ مَا قُبِرَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ prayed on a mat.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى حَصِيرٍ»

“When Ibn ‘Abbas was in Basrah, he performed prayer on his rug, then he told his companions that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform prayer on his rug.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1030)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى بِسَاطٍ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for An-Najashi."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ

“When Ibn ‘Abbas was in Basrah, he performed prayer on his rug, then he told his companions that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform prayer on his rug.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1030)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى بِسَاطٍ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for Najashi and said four Takbir. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1538)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the funeral prayer for An-Najashi and said takbeer upon him four times.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ مَوْتُ النَّجَاشِيِّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed prayer on the grave. (Using translation from Muslim 955)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرٍ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for Najashi and said four Takbir. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1538)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى بِأَصْحَابِهِ عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for Najashi and said four Takbir. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1538)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرِ فُلَانَةَ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا»

That the Prophet prayed at the grave of a woman after she had been buried. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2025)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرِ امْرَأَةٍ قَدْ دُفِنَتْ»

I said to Sha'bi: Who narrated it to you? He said: An authentic one, 'Abdullah b. 'Abbas. This is the word of a hasan hadith. In the narration of Ibn Numair (the words are): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to the grave which had been newly prepared and prayed over it, and they also prayed who were behind him and he recited four takbirs. I said to 'Amir: Who narrated it to you? He said: An authentic one who saw him, i e. Ibn 'Abbas. (Using translation from Muslim 954a)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا»

أَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النجاشي

أَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

[AI] The Prophet (PBUH) prayed upon a fly.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى ذُبَابٍ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed on a mat."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى حَصِيرٍ»

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ "prayed on a mat"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى بِسَاطٍ»

[AI] The last funeral prayer the Prophet ﷺ performed, he recited the takbir (Allahu Akbar) four times.

«آخِرُ جَنَازَةٍ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ كَبَّرَ عَلَيْهَا أَرْبَعًا»

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ said, "He (the Prophet) performed takbir (recited Allahu Akbar) five times upon the Negus (ruler of Abyssinia)."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «كَبَّرَ عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ خَمْسًا»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for As-Samasih Al-Najashi and raised his voice in takbeer four times.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ النَّجَاشِيُّ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ prayed on a grave and performed four takbirs upon it.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرٍ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

[AI] "To pray upon him."

أَنْ يُصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ

"عَنْ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ كَبَّرَ عَلَى النَّجاشَىِّ أرْبعًا".

"أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى حَصيرٍ".

" أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلى أَصْحَمَةَ فَكَبَّر عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا ".

"أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى بِسَاطٍ".

"أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِي، فَكَبَّر عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا".
