The Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for Ashama, the Negus, with four Takbir.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered prayer for Ashama, the Negus, and recited four takbirs.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed prayer on the grave.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرٍ

That the Prophet prayed at the grave of a woman after she had been buried.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرِ امْرَأَةٍ بَعْدَ مَا دُفِنَتْ

It was narrated from ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for ‘Uthman bin Maz’un, and he said four Takbir over him.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ وَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا

It was narrated from Ibn Buraidah from his father that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for a deceased person after he had been buried.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى مَيِّتٍ بَعْدَ مَا دُفِنَ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for Najashi and said four Takbir.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ prayed on a mat.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى حَصِيرٍ»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for the person at the grave after they were buried.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى صَاحِبِ قَبْرٍ بَعْدَ مَا دُفِنَ

“When Ibn ‘Abbas was in Basrah, he performed prayer on his rug, then he told his companions that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform prayer on his rug.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1030)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى بِسَاطٍ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for An-Najashi."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى بِسَاطٍ

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for Najashi and said four Takbir. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1538)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ فَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى قَبْرِ امْرَأَةٍ قَدْ دُفِنَتْ»

I said to Sha'bi: Who narrated it to you? He said: An authentic one, 'Abdullah b. 'Abbas. This is the word of a hasan hadith. In the narration of Ibn Numair (the words are): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to the grave which had been newly prepared and prayed over it, and they also prayed who were behind him and he recited four takbirs. أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «صَلَّى عَلَى مَيِّتٍ بَعْدَ مَا دُفِنَ»

" أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلى أَصْحَمَةَ فَكَبَّر عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا ".

"أَنَّ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى بِسَاطٍ".

"صَلَّى النَّبىُّ ﷺ عَلَى قَبْرٍ بَعْدَ ما دُفنَ".

"أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى النَّجَاشِي، فَكَبَّر عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا".
