Once ʿUmar was informed that a certain man sold alcohol. ʿUmar said, "May Allah curse him! Doesn't he know that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'May Allah curse the Jews, for Allah had forbidden them to eat the fat of animals but they melted it and sold it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah curse the Jews, because Allah made fat illegal for them but they sold it and ate its price. "

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ يَهُودًا حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ قَاتَلَهُمْ اللَّهُ لَعَنَهُمْ قُتِلَ لُعِنَ الْخَرَّاصُونَ الْكَذَّابُونَ

I heard ʿUmar saying, "May Allah Curse so-and-so! Doesn't he know that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'May Allah curse the Jews for, though they were forbidden (to eat) fat, they liquefied it and sold it. "

سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ ؓ يَقُولُ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ فُلاَنًا أَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَّلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا

This news reached 'Umar that Samura had sold wine, whereupon he said: May Allah destroy Samura; does he not know that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:" Let there be the curse of Allah upon the Jews that fat was declared forbidden for them, but they melted it and then sold it"?

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا

May Allah destroy the Jews for Allah forbade the use of fats for them, but they sold them and made use of their price.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومَ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا

May Allah destroy the Jews for Allah forbade the use of fat for them, but they sold it and made use of its price.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَ عَلَيْهِمُ الشَّحْمُ فَبَاعُوهُ وَأَكَلُوا ثَمَنَهُ

"It reached 'Umar that Samurah had sold some wine, and he said: 'May Allah ruin Samurah! Does he not know that the Messenger of Allah said: May Allah curse the Jews, for animal fat was forbidden to them, but they rendered it.' Sufyan (one of the narrators) said: "Meaning: They melted it down."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَّلُوهَا قَالَ سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي أَذَابُوهَا

‘Umar was told ­and on one occasion he said: Umar heard that Samurah was selling alcohol and he said: May Allah destroy Samurah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿMay Allah curse the Jews, He forbade animal fat to them, so they rendered it and sold it.ʿ

قَاتَلَ اللهُ سَمُرَةَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was sitting in the mosque facing the direction of the Black Stone. He looked up at the sky and smiled, then he said, 'May Allah curse the Jews; they are forbidden from consuming fat, so they sold it and ate its price. Surely, whenever Allah forbids a people from eating something, He also forbids them from profiting from it.'"

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَاعِدًا فِي الْمَسْجِدِ مُسْتَقْبِلًا الْحُجَرَ قَالَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَضَحِكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ إِذَا حَرَّمَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ أَكْلَ شَيْءٍ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَمَنَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah curse the Jews. Fat is forbidden for them, but they sold it and ate its price. And indeed, when Allah forbids the consumption of something, He also forbids its price."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمِ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ إِذَا حَرَّمَ أَكْلَ شَيْءٍ حَرَّمَ ثَمَنَهُ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'May Allah curse the Jews, as He has forbidden them from consuming fat, yet they sold it and ate its price. Indeed, when Allah forbids something for a people, He also forbids its price.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَ عَلَيْهِمِ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا فَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا وَإِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا حَرَّمَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ شَيْئًا حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَمَنَهُ

Umar heard that Samurah had sold some wine, and he said: “May Allah ruin Samurah! Does he not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘May Allah curse the Jews, for animal fat was forbidden to them, so they melted it down and sold it.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3383)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا فَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "May Allah curse the Jews, their fats have been forbidden for them, so they consumed their proceeds."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومُهَا فَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا

Yahya related to me from Malik that Abdullah ibn Abi Bakr said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'May Allah curse the jews! They were forbidden to eat fat, so they sold it and ate its price.' "

أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ نُهُوا عَنْ أَكْلِ الشَّحْمِ فَبَاعُوهُ فَأَكَلُوا ثَمَنَهُ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ looked at the sky and said, 'May Allah curse the Jews! They have been prohibited from consuming fat, so they sold it and ate its price. Indeed, when Allah prohibits something, He also prohibits its price.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَظَرَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَقَالَ «قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا حَرَّمَ شَيْئًا حَرَّمَ ثَمَنَهُ»

[AI] "May God curse Fulan (name) who sells alcohol. By God, he has indeed heard the saying of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , 'It is prohibited for them to consume fats and then sell them.'"

قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ فُلَانًا يَبِيعُ الْخَمْرَ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَمِعَ قَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ «حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ أَنْ يَأْكُلُوهَا ثُمَّ بَاعُوهَا»

‘Umar was told ­and on one occasion he said: Umar heard that Samurah was selling alcohol and he said: May Allah destroy Samurah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿMay Allah curse the Jews, He forbade animal fat to them, so they rendered it and sold it.ʿ (Using translation from Aḥmad 170)

عُمَرُ قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ سَمُرَةَ أَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَسْتَحْيِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ لَا تَأْتُوا النِّسَاءَ فِي أَدْبَارِهِنَّ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عُمَرَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَعَنِ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَّلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا ثَمَنَهَا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ إِلَّا عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُوسَى عَنْ شَيْبَانَ

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَا تُنْكَحُ الْمَرْأَةُ عَلَى عَمِّتِهَا وَلَا عَلَى خَالَتِهَا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَلِيٍّ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

قَالَ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ تَفْسِيرِ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ فَقَالَ تَنْزِيهُ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى مِنَ السُّوءِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ طَلْحَةَ مُتَّصِلًا إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

أَنَّهُ شَكَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الدَّوَابَّ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَلْبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ آذَى عَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَانِي وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ سَعْدٍ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

قَالَ سَمِعْتَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ سَعْدٍ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ إِلَى غَنِيٍّ أَوْ فَقِيرٍ صَدَقَةٌ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا عَلَى شِرَارِ النَّاسِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أَعْلِنُوا النِّكَاحَ وَاضْرِبُوا عَلَيْهِ بِالْغِرْبَالِ يَعْنِي الدُّفَّ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ فَوَجَدْنَاهُ نَائِمًا قَدْ غَطَّى وَجْهَهُ بِبُرْدٍ عَدَنِيٍّ فَكَشَفَ الْبُرْدَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ يُحَرِّمُونَ شُحُومَ الْغَنَمِ وَيَأْكُلُونَ أَثْمَانَهَا وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ أُسَامَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ سَاقِي الْقَوْمِ آخِرُهُمْ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ كُلَّ قَلْبٍ حَزِينٍ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بهذا الإسناد

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ ما أنعم الله على عَبد نعمة فقال الحمد لله إلاَّ كان ما أعطى خيرا مما أخذ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَنَس إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لعن في الخمر عشرة عاصرها والمعصورة له ومشتريها وبائعها والحامل والمحمولة إليه وشاربها وساقيها وآكل ثمنها وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَنَس إلاَّ من هذا الوجه

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ؛ أَنَّه كان إذا اهتم أكثر من مس لحيته وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه بهذا الإسناد محمد بن عَمْرو عَن أبي سلمة

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قال إذا دخل البصر فلا إذن وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ؛ أَنَّه حبس في تهمة وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قال من يرد الله به خيرا يصب مِنْهُ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه بهذ الإسناد

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُول اللهِ ﷺ لتقمصن بكم قماص البكر يعني الأرض وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة إلاَّ من هذا الوجه بهذ الإسناد

عَنِ النَّبِيّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لعن المحل والمحلل له وهذا الحديث لا نعلم يروى عَن أبي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ

عَن النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْمَدَّاحِينَ فَاحْثُوا في وجوههم التراب وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لاَ نعلمُهُ يُرْوَى عَن أَبِي هُرَيرة إلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah has cursed the Jews, and they were forbidden from consuming fat, but they sold it and ate its price."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah curse the Jews. Fat has been made forbidden for them, yet they sold it and ate its price. Indeed, when Allah prohibits the consumption of something, He also prohibits its price."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا وَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ إِذَا حَرَّمَ أَكْلَ شَيْءٍ حَرَّمَ ثَمَنَهُ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «قَاتَلَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَلُوهَا» قَالَ سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي أَذَابُوهَا

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ performed Hajj while in a state of ihram.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'May Allah curse the Jews. Fat is forbidden for them, so they made it into soap and sold it.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ؛ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah will not show mercy to him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمِ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمْهُ اللهُ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Allah does not show mercy to those who do not show mercy to people."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَرْحَمُ اللهُ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ was in the mosque when he raised his gaze to the sky and smiled. He said, "May Allah curse the Jews, may Allah curse the Jews, may Allah curse the Jews. Verily, Allah has forbidden them from consuming fat, but they sold it and ate its price. Verily, when Allah forbids a people from eating something, He also forbids them from its price."

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَرَفَعَ بَصَرَهُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَتَبَسَّمَ وَقَالَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ إِنَّ اللهَ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومَ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا أَثْمَانَهَا إِنَّ اللهَ إِذَا حَرَّمَ عَلَى قَوْمٍ أَكْلَ شَيْءٍ حَرَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثَمَنَهُ
