The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: None of you must pray in a single garment of which no part comes over his shoulders.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يُصَلِّي أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺsaid: 'No one of you should pray in a single garment with no part of it on his shoulder.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ مِنْهُ شَىْءٌ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺsaid: 'No one of you should pray in a single garment with no part of it on his shoulder.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 769)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the mu'adhin calls for prayer, the devil runs away until he reaches the Ruha'ah, which is thirty miles away from the city."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ هَرَبَ الشَّيْطَانُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ وَهِيَ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ ثَلَاثُونَ مِيلًا

Malik related to me from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling or giving away the wala'.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلاَءِ وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللَّهُ الْيَهُودَ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَبَاعُوهَا وَأَكَلُوا ثَمَنَهَا

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تسموا باسمي ولا تكتنوا بكنيتي

The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should offer prayer in a single garment that does not cover the shoulders." (Using translation from Bukhārī 359)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the muezzin calls the adhan, the devil runs away until he reaches the outskirts of Ar-Rawha', which is thirty miles away from the city."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا أَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ هَرَبَ الشَّيْطَانُ حَتَّى يَكُونَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ وَهِيَ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ ثَلَاثُونَ مِيلًا

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no prayer for the one who does not recite the opening chapter of the Book (Al-Fatiha)."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ

[AI] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ: "None of you should pray in a single garment that does not cover anything from his shoulders."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "None of you should pray in a garment that is not covering both of his shoulders."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ

[AI] We prostrated with the Prophet ﷺ when the sky split apart and in (the verse) "Read in the name of your Lord."

سَجَدْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ وَفِي اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to teach us the Tashahhud, just as he used to teach us a Surah from the Quran.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُعَلِّمُنَا التَّشَهُّدَ كَمَا يُعَلِّمُنَا السُّورَةَ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray at night while I was by his side. I was menstruating and had a cloth over me, and some of it was on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا إِلَى جَنْبِهِ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ وَعَلَيَّ مِرْطٌ وَبَعْضُهُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning and evening, Allah will prepare for him a place in Jannah (Paradise) every time he goes and comes back."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ غَدَا إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ وَرَاحَ أَعَدَّ اللهُ لَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ نُزُلًا كُلَّمَا غَدَا وَرَاحَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the prayer and dinner time come together, start with dinner."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالْعَشَاءُ فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said to them regarding the washing of his daughter: "Start with her right side and the places of ablution from it."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُنَّ فِي غُسْلِ ابْنَتِهِ ابْدَأْنَ بِمَيَامِنِهَا وَمَوَاضِعِ الْوُضُوءِ مِنْهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, Bilal gives the call to prayer at night, so eat and drink until you hear the call to prayer from the son of Umm Maktum."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ بِلَالًا يُؤَذِّنُ بِلَيْلٍ فَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّى تَسْمَعُوا أَذَانَ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ forbade men from dying their hair black.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يَتَزَعْفَرَ الرَّجُلُ

[AI] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said, "He would heal them with patience."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يُضَمِّدُهُمَا بِالصَّبِرِ

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ performed Hajj while in a state of ihram.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ

[AI] We used to play and have fun during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, from Jamm to Mina.

كُنَّا نُغَلِّسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ جَمْعٍ إِلَى مِنًى

[AI] He said, "Al-Muhasabb is not something; it is only a station that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has descended to."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَيْسَ الْمُحَصَّبُ بِشَيْءٍ إِنَّمَا هُوَ مَنْزِلٌ نَزَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he forbade accepting sales.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ نَهَى عَنْ تَلَقِّي الْبُيُوعِ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'May Allah curse the Jews. Fat is forbidden for them, so they made it into soap and sold it.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْيَهُودَ؛ حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ فَجَمَلُوهَا فَبَاعُوهَا

[AI] Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ hold onto its hilt? He said, "Yes."

لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَمْسِكْ بِنِصَالِهَا ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ

[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah will not show mercy to him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمِ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمْهُ اللهُ

[AI] It is prohibited by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to consume a type of meat called "dubbah", as well as a plant called "hantam", and two specific methods of slaughtering: "nadeer" and "muzaffat".

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ

[AI] "Abu Al-Qasim, ﷺ , is called by my name and not by my title."

أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ تَسَمَّوْا بِاسْمِي وَلَا تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ said: Call me by my name and do not use my nickname."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ سَمُّوا بِاسْمِي وَلَا تَكْتَنُوا بِكُنْيَتِي

[AI] The Prophet (PBUH) performed hijama (cupping) and gave the cupper his payment and sought treatment.

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ وَاسْتَعَطَ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my own ears saying, "Indeed, Allah will bring out a people from the fire and will enter them into Paradise."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِأُذُنِيَّ هَاتَيْنِ يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللهَ يُخْرِجُ قَوْمًا مِنَ النَّارِ فَيُدْخِلُهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the sale of loyalty and the gift of their sayings is equal

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الْوَلَاءِ وَعَنْ هِبَتِهِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِهِمَا سَوَاءٌ
