The Prophet ﷺ "Whoever gets up at night and says: -- 'La ilaha il-lallah Wahdahu la Sharika lahu Lahu-lmulk, waLahu-l-hamd wahuwa 'ala kullishai'in Qadir. Al hamdu lil-lahi wa subhanal-lahi wa la-ilaha il-lal-lah wa-l-lahu akbar wa la hawla Wala Quwata il-la-bil-lah.' (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. He is the Only One and has no partners . For Him is the Kingdom and all the praises are due for Him. He is Omnipotent. All the praises are for Allah. All the glories are for Allah. And none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, And Allah is Great And there is neither Might nor Power Except with Allah). And then says: -- Allahumma, Ighfir li (O Allah! Forgive me). Or invokes (Allah), he will be responded to and if he performs ablution (and prays), his prayer will be accepted."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ تَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي أَوْ دَعَا اسْتُجِيبَ فَإِنْ تَوَضَّأَ وَصَلَّى قُبِلَتْ صَلاَتُهُ

If anyone extols Allah after every prayer thirty-three times, and praises Allah thirty-three times, and declares His Greatness thirty-three times, ninety-nine times in all, and says to complete a hundred:" There is no god but Allah, having no partner with Him, to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him is praise due, and He is Potent over everything," his sins will be forgiven even If these are as abundant as the foam of the sea.

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَبَّحَ اللَّهَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَكَبَّرَ اللَّهَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ فَتِلْكَ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ وَقَالَ تَمَامَ الْمِائَةِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ غُفِرَتْ خَطَايَاهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

there is no god but Allah alone Who has no partner, to whom dominion belongs, to whom praise is due, and who has power over everything (omnipotent). Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and then he prays: O my Lord, forgive me. Abu Dawud said : Al-Walid’s version has; and he prays, his prayer will be answered. If he gets up, performs ablution, and prays, his prayer will be accepted.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ حِينَ يَسْتَيْقِظُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ دَعَا رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ أَوْ قَالَ دَعَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ فَإِنْ قَامَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى قُبِلَتْ صَلاَتُهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever wakes up in the night and says, ‘None has the right to be worshiped but Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs the Dominion, and to Him is the praise, and He has power over all things. And Glory is to Allah, and all the praise is to Allah, and ‘None has the right to be worshiped but Allah, and Allah is the greatest, and there is no might nor power except by Allah (Lā ilāha illallāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ʿalā kulli shai'in qadīr. Wa subḥān Allah, walḥamdulillāh, wa lā ilāha illallāh, wa Allāhu akbar, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh.)’ – then he said: ‘O my Lord, forgive me (Rabbighfirlī)’ – or he said – ‘then he supplicates, he shall be responded to. So he makes a firm determination, then performs Wudu', then he performs Salat, his Salat shall be accepted.”

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ تَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي أَوْ قَالَ ثُمَّ دَعَا اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ فَإِنْ عَزَمَ فَتَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى قُبِلَتْ صَلاَتُهُ

"I heard Abdullah bin Az-Zubair speaking from the Minbar, saying: 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the taslim, he would say: "La Ilaha Illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir, la hawla wala quwwata illa billahil-'azim; la ilaha ill-Allahu wa la nabbed illa iyyah, ahlan-ni'mati wal-fadli wath-thana'il-has an; la ilaha ill-Allah, mukhlisina lahud-dina wa law karihal-kafirun (There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT) alone, with no partner or associate. His is the Dominion, to Him be all praise, and He is able to do all things; there is no power and no strength except with Allah (SWT) the Almighty. There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT), and we worship none but Him, the source of blessing and kindness and the One Who is deserving of all good praise. There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT), and we are sincere in faith and devotion to Him even though the disbelievers detest it. )

سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يُحَدِّثُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ لاَ نَعْبُدُ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ أَهْلَ النِّعْمَةِ وَالْفَضْلِ وَالثَّنَاءِ الْحَسَنِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever wakes up in the morning and says upon waking: La ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in Qadir; Subhan-Allah walhamdu lillahi, wa la ilaha illallahu, wa Allahu Akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil-‘Aliyil-‘Azim (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, with no partner or associate. His is the dominion and all praise is to Him, and He is Able to do all things. Glory is to Allah, praise is to Allah, none has the right to be worshiped but Allah, Allah is the Most Great, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Supreme), then he supplicates Rabbighfirli (O Lord, forgive me), he will be forgiven.’” Walid said: “Or he said: then if he supplicated, it will be answered for him then if he stood up and performed ablution and then performed prayer, his prayer would be accepted.”

[AI] I heard the messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest, all praise is due to Allah, and glory be to Allah, and there is no power or strength except with Allah', his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِوَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ كُفِّرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “there is not anyone upon the earth who says: ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except by Allah, (Lā ilāha illallāh, wa Allāhu akbar, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh) except that his sins shall be pardoned, even if they were like the foam of the sea.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3460)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ رَجُلٌ يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ إِلَّا كَفَّرَتْ عَنْهُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says SubhanAllah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Alhamdulillah (All praise is due to Allah) thirty-three times, and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest) thirty-three times, and then says La ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli shay'in Qadir (There is no god but Allah, alone without any partner, to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable over all things) after every Salah (prayer), his sins will be forgiven even if they were as abundant as the foam of the sea."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَبَّحَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَكَبَّرَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَحَمِدَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَقَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ خَلْفَ الصَّلَاةِ غُفِرَ لَهُ ذَنْبُهُ وَلَوْ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

[AI] He (Abu Dharr Al-Ghifari, companion of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ) heard him (the Messenger of Allah) saying words that whoever mentions them a hundred times after every prayer, Allah is greater, and glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner or associate, and there is no power or might except with Allah. Then, even if his sins were as much as the foam of the sea, they would be forgiven. Abu Abdurrahman said: My father did not mention the phrase "raise him."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيَّ صَاحِبَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ كَلِمَاتٌ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُنَّ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَاقُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ ثُمَّ لَوْ كَانَتْ خَطَايَاهُ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ لَمَحَتْهُنَّ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ أَبِي لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever wakes up in the night and says, ‘None has the right to be worshiped but Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs the Dominion, and to Him is the praise, and He has power over all things. Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu Ubayd, the mawla of Sulayman ibn Abd al-Malik, from Ata ibn Yazid al-Laythi that Abu Hurayra said, "Whoever says 'Glory be to Allah' (Subhana'llah) thirty- three times and 'Allah is Greater' (Allahu akbar) thirty-three times and 'Praise be to Allah' (al-hamdu lillah) thirty-three times, and seals the hundred with 'There is no god but Allah, alone without any partner. The Kingdom and praise belong to Him and He has power over everything' (La ilaha illa'llah, wahdahu la sharika lah, lahu'l mulku wa lahu'l hamd, wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadir) after every prayer will have his wrong actions forgiven him even if they are abundant as the foam on the sea."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ سَبَّحَ دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَكَبَّرَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَحَمِدَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ وَخَتَمَ الْمِائَةَ بِلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ غُفِرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ وَلَوْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever glorifies Allah thirty-three times, praises Him thirty-three times, and declares His greatness thirty-three times after every prayer, and concludes with declaring His oneness, that there is no deity except Allah alone, with no partner, to Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is capable of all things; his sins will be forgiven, even if they were as abundant as the foam on the sea."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَبَّحَ اللَّهَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ دُبُرَ صَلَاتِهِ وَحَمِدَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَكَبَّرَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَخَتَمَ الْمِائَةَ بِلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ غُفِرَتْ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَلَوْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَبَّحَ اللَّهَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَحَمَدَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَكَبَّرَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ فَتِلْكَ تِسْعٌ وَتِسْعُونَ وَقَالَ تَمَامَ الْمِائَةِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ غُفِرَتْ لَهُ خَطَايَاهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ تَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ حِينَ يَسْتَيْقِظُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي غُفِرَ لَهُ وَإِنْ قَامَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَصَلَّى قُبِلَتْ صَلَاتُهُ» قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ قَالَ «غُفِرَ لَهُ أَوِ اسْتُجِيبَ لَهُ»

from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "Whoever says when he retires to his bed:

(There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs praise, and He has power over all things. There is no might and no power except through Allah. Glory be to Allah, praise be to Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is greatest)

Allah will forgive his sins or his misdeeds", Misar was uncertain, "even if they are like the foam of the sea."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَالَ حِينَ يَأْوِي إِلَى فِرَاشِهِ:»

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ،

غَفَرَ اللَّهُ ذُنُوبَهُ أَوْ خَطَايَاهُ»، شَكَّ مِسْعَرٌ، «وَإِنْ كَانَ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ».

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَالَ فِي يَوْمٍ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ وَإِذَا أَمْسَى لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمَلِكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ حَيُّ لَا يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ غُفِرَتْ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ وَهَذَا الْحَدِيثُ لَا نَعْلَمُهُ يُرْوَى عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَا نَعْلَمُ رَوَى سَهْلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ إِلَّا هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قال من سبح في دبر صرة ثلاثًا وثلاثين وحمد ثلاثًا وثلاثين وَكَبَّرَ ثلاثًا وثلاثين وَقال تمام المِئَة لا إِلَهَ إلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وهُو عَلَى كل شيء قدير غفرت ذنوبه ولو كانت أكثر من زبد البحر وأبو عُبَيد الذي روى عنه سهيل هذا الحديث لا نعلم من هو سلمان الأغر عَن أبي هُرَيرة

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to say after finishing his prayer before he stands up, "There is no deity except Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things capable. There is no power or strength except with Allah. We do not worship except Him, to Him belongs all blessings and favors, and to Him belongs all good praise. There is no deity except Allah, sincerely devoted to Him in religion."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ صَلَاتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقُومَ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىءٍ قَدِيرٌ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ لَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ لَهُ النِّعْمَةُ وَلَهُ الْفَضْلُ وَلَهُ الثَّنَاءُ الْحَسَنُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever recites these five words and asks Allah for anything, He will grant it to him: there is no god but Allah, Allah is the greatest, there is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs the sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things. There is no god but Allah, and there is neither might nor power except with Allah."

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to say after the prayer: "There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion, and His is the praise, and He is able to do all things."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ دُبُرَ الصَّلَاةِ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ»

"I heard Abdullah bin Az-Zubair speaking from the Minbar, saying: 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the taslim, he would say: "La Ilaha Illallah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir, la hawla wala quwwata illa billahil-'azim; la ilaha ill-Allahu wa la nabbed illa iyyah, ahlan-ni'mati wal-fadli wath-thana'il-has an; la ilaha ill-Allah, mukhlisina lahud-dina wa law karihal-kafirun (There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT) alone, with no partner or associate. His is the Dominion, to Him be all praise, and He is able to do all things; there is no power and no strength except with Allah (SWT) the Almighty. There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT), and we worship none but Him, the source of blessing and kindness and the One Who is deserving of all good praise. There is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT), and we are sincere in faith and devotion to Him even though the disbelievers detest it. ) (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1339)

[AI] There is no god but Allah alone, without any partners, to Him belongs all sovereignty, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is capable of all things. His sins are forgiven, even if they are as numerous as the foam of the sea. Muhammad ibn Ja'far differed with him in the wording of the hadith.

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Whoever glorifies (i.e., says Subhanallah) thirty-three times after each prayer, and praises (i.e., says Alhamdulillah) thirty-three times, and declares the oneness of Allah (i.e., says La ilaha illa Allah) thirty-three times, and then completes one hundred by saying La ilaha illa Allah, alone without any partners, to Him belongs the sovereignty, and to Him belongs all praise, He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent, his sins will be forgiven even if they are more than the foam of the sea." Abu Abdullah Al-Sawaab said: "The correct narration is that of Abu Ubaid bin Sulaiman bin Abdul Malik who differed from Ibn Ajlan, who narrated it from Suhail, from Ata' bin Yazeed, from some of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ ."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ سَبَّحَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَكَبَّرَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَحَمِدَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَقَالَ تَمَامَ الْمِائَةِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا عَمِلَ مِنْ عُمِلٍ وَإنْ كَانَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الصَّوَابُ أَبُو عُبَيْدٍ مَوْلَى سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ خَالَفَهُ ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ رَوَاهُ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

[AI] Some of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever says behind every prayer thirty-three takbeerat, thirty-three tasbeehat, thirty-three tahmeedat, and one tahlilah, saying 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things,' all his sins will be forgiven, even if they were as much as the foam of the sea." Adam ibn Abi Iyas differed with this, as narrated by Layth from Ibn Ajlan from Suhail from his father from Abu Hurayrah.

عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ خَلْفَ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَكْبِيرَةً وَثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَسْبِيحَةً وَثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ تَحْمِيدَةً وَتَهْلِيلَةً يَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ غُفِرَ لَهُ خَطَايَاهُ وَإنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ [63] خَالَفَهُ آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ رَوَاهُ عَنِ اللَّيْثِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ سُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever says behind every prayer thirty-three times of takbeer, thirty-three times of tasbeeh, and thirty-three times of tahmeed, and says 'there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things,' his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea." [AI] In his sleep, Abu Abdullah said that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the sovereignty and to Him belongs all praise. And He is capable of all things. There is no power or strength except through Allah. Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Him. There is no god but Allah, and Allah is the greatest. His sins will be forgiven, even if they were as numerous as the foam of the sea. This statement was narrated by Shu'bah in his sleep.

عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ غُفِرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ لَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ عِنْدَ مَنَامِهِ قَالَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

there is no god but Allah alone Who has no partner, to whom dominion belongs, to whom praise is due, and who has power over everything (omnipotent). Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and then he prays: O my Lord, forgive me. Abu Dawud said : Al-Walid’s version has; and he prays, his prayer will be answered. If he gets up, performs ablution, and prays, his prayer will be accepted. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5060)

If anyone extols Allah after every prayer thirty-three times, and praises Allah thirty-three times, and declares His Greatness thirty-three times, ninety-nine times in all, and says to complete a hundred:" There is no god but Allah, having no partner with Him, to Him belongs sovereignty and to Him is praise due, and He is Potent over everything," his sins will be forgiven even If these are as abundant as the foam of the sea. "أحبُّ الكلامِ إلى اللهِ، سبحانَ الله، لا شريك لَهُ، له الملكُ وله الحمدُ وهو علَى كل شئٍ قديرٌ، ولا حولَ ولا قوةَ إلا باللهِ، سبحان الله وبحمدهِ".

"إذا صلَّيتَ فسبِّحْ دُبُرَ كلِّ صَلاة ثلاثًا وثلاثين، واحْمَدْ ثلاثًا ثلاثين، وكبِّرْ أرْبعًا وثلاثين، وقُلْ: لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا الله وحْدهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، له الملك، ولهُ الحمدُ، وهُوَ على كُلّ شيءٍ قديرٌ".

"أَلا أُعلِّمُكَ كَلِمَات إِذا أنتَ قُلتهُنَّ أَدركتَ من سَبَقَكَ ولم يلحقك من خَلْفك إِلَّا من عَمِلَ مثلَ عَمَلِكَ تُسبِّحُ اللَّهَ تعالى دُبر كلِّ صلاة ثلاثةً وثلاثين، وتحمِّدهُ ثلاثةً وثلاثين، وتكبِّرهُ ثلاثةً وثلاثين، وتختمها بلا إِله إِلا اللَّه وحده لا شريك له، لَهُ الملكُ وله الحمدُ، وله الشُّكرُ، وهو على كلِّ شئٍ قديرٌ ".

"خَمْسٌ من قَالَهُنَّ صَدَق: اللَّهُ لا إِلَه إِلا اللَّهُ وحْدهُ لَا شَريكَ لَهُ، لا إِله إِلا اللَّهُ الملكُ الحق، له المُلكُ ولَه الحمدُ، لا إِلهَ إِلا اللَّهُ واللَّهُ أكبرُ، لا إِلهَ إِلا اللَّهُ، ولا حولَ ولا قوه إِلا باللَّهِ. من تكلم بهؤلاءِ الكلمات في مرضه حرَّمهُ اللَّهُ على النار".

"كَلِمَاتٌ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُنَّ مِائَةَ مَرَّة دُبُرَ كُلِّ صَلاة: الله أَكْبَرُ، سُبْحَانَ الله، وَالْحَمْدُ لله، وَلا إِلهَ إلا الله وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَه وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إلَّا بالله، لَوْ كَانَتْ خَطَايَاه مِثْلَ زَبَد الْبَحْرِ لَمَحَتْهُنَّ".

"مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَقُولُ حِين تُردُّ إِليه رُوحُهُ: لا إِلهَ إِلا اللهُ، وَحْدَهُ لا شرِيك له، لهُ الْمُلك ولهُ الْحمْدُ، وَهُو عَلي كُلِّ شيءٍ قدِير إِلا غفرَ اللهُ لهُ ذُنُوبَه ولو كانتْ مِثْلَ زَبدِ الْبَحْرِ".

"مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَتَعَارُّ مِنْ جَوْفِ اللَّيلِ فَيَقُولُ: الله أَكْبَرُ، وَسُبْحَانَ الله، وَلَا إِله إِلا الله، وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلكُ وَلهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْيي وَيُمِيتُ، وَهُو علَى كُلِّ شىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَلَا حوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله، أَسْتَغْفِرُ الله الْغَفُورَ الرَّحِيمَ، إِلا سَلَخَهُ الله مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَيَومِ وَلَدَتْه أُمُّهُ".

"مَنْ تَعَارَّ مِنَ اللَّيلِ فَقَال حِينَ يَسْتَيقظُ: لَا إِلهَ إِلا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ يُحْيى وَيُمِيتُ بيَدِهِ الخَيرُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَالحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ، ثُمَّ قَال: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لي وَدَعَا اسْتُجيبَ لَهُ، فَإِن قَامَ فَتَوَضأ ثُمَّ صَلّى قُبِلَتْ صَلاتُهُ".

"مَنْ دَعَا بهَؤُلاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ الْخَمْسِ لَمْ يَسْأَل الله شَيئًا إِلا أَعْطَاهُ: لا إِله إِلا اللهُ، واللهُ أَكبَرُ لا إِلهَ إِلا الله، وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لا إِلهَ إِلا اللهُ، وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَة إِلا بِاللهِ".

"مَنْ سَبَّحَ الله في دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاة ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ، وَحَمِدَ الله ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثِينَ، وَكَبَّرَ الله ثَلاثًا وَثَلاثينَ، فَتلْكَ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ، وَقال تَمَام الْمِائَةِ: لا إِلهَ إِلا الله وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلكُ وَلَه الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، غُفِرَتْ خَطَايَاهُ وَإنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ".

"مَن قَال حِينَ يَدْخُلُ السُّوقَ: لا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ، وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، يُحْيي وَيُمِيتُ، بِيَده الْخَيرُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ وسُبْحَانَ الله، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بالله، كَتَبَ اللهُ - ﷻ - لَهُ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ".

"مَنْ قَال حِينَ يَسْتَيقِظُ -وَقَدْ رَدَّ الله عَلَيهِ رُوحَهُ- لا إِلهَ إِلا الله وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ المُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، بِيدِهِ الخيرُ وَهُوَ عَلى كَلِّ شَيءٍ قَدِيرٌ غَفَرَ الله ذُنُوبَهُ وإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ البحرِ".

"مَنْ قَال: لَا إِلهَ إِلا الله، وَحْدَهُ لا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَي كُلِّ شَيء قَدِيرٌ، وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله، وَسُبْحَانَ الله وَبِحَمْدهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لله، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلا الله، والله أَكْبَرُ، حُطَّتْ خَطَايَاهُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ" .

"عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ عَمْرو قَالَ: مَنْ قَالَ حينَ يُرِيدُ أنْ يَرْقُدَ لاَ إِلَه إِلاَّ الله وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَه، لَهُ الْمُلك وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَئٍ قَدير، سُبْحَانَ الله وَبحَمْدِه، الله أَكْبَرُ، لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بالله، ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرَ الله إِلاَّ غَفَرَ لَه، وَلوْ كَانَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ مثْلَ زَبَد البَحْرِ".

"يَا أبا ذَر أَلَا أُعَلمكَ كَلِمات إِذا قُلْتهنَّ أَدْرَكتَ مَن سَبَقَكَ، وَلَا يلْحَقُ بِكَ أَحدٌ بَعْدَكَ إِلا مَنْ أَخَذَ بِمِثلِ عَمَلِكَ: تُكَبِّرُ في دُبُر كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِين تكَبْيرَة، وَتحمدُ ثَلَاثًا وثَلَاثِين تَحميدَة، وَتُسبِّح ثلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِين تَسْبِيحَة، وَتَخْتِمُها بِلَا إِلَه إلَّا الله وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلَكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْد وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِير".
