The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ʿWhoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take up his abode in Hell.ʿ  

أحمد:٥٠٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْكَبِيرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍعَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ؛ يَعْنِي

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَعَمَّدَ عَلَيَّ كَذِبًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ بَيْتًا فِي النَّارِ

Indeed what prevents me from relating to you a great number of Ḥadīth is that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever intends to lie upon me, then let him take his seat in the Fire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ بَيْتًا فِي النَّارِ»
